  1. the only difference is the pistons and cam and oil pump. the turbo has low compression pistons and a cam to suit a turbo.
  2. pull the intake stuff off the front of the turbo and move the front wheel of the turbo up down left right. it shouldnt move much at all but it might be touching the housing when boosting. this means the turbos broke. so put a bigger 1 on
  3. flutter = 25 psi for 1 .a bit years then 20 psi for 1 year = still good, no shaft play. on vl turbo with highflow usually u put the afm in the cooler pipes and put a metal intake on the front of the turbo for ultimate loudness. and put a pod on or not is up to u. il be doing it tomorrow on my 33 but leaving the afm normal position. u can hear the plastic and doesnt sound as good but my atmo blow off valve still goes off so its like half tutututu half blow off noise. it may go high pitch flutter even through the plastic pipes with the bov hole shut up
  4. does any1 else have a complete motor or bottomend ready to put my 25 head onto. dont wanna heave to pull it apart and hone really.

  6. have u ever seen a retread?. i was considering gettin them on the bak of my 33. i got it wit 1 15 inch spare with a retread. i had no idea thats how they did them and what they looked like. they suk. u can get 80 percent brand name 15s for 30-50 dollars. even cheaper than a retread an 1 million times better.

  16. i think the exhaust is only cat back. i dunno. as far as i know its still got the insides. it feels like the car goes faster with 3 quarter throtle as opposed to full throttle
  17. my car has been shooting flames lately. and sometimes it blows black smoke and sometimes it goes nowhere like a big flatspot. what would be wrong with it. its a r33 with atmo blow off valve and fmic. thats about it
  18. i have a 400r front bar on mine but its got pretty broken. i dunno if il get a new 400r 1 when i get the whole car repainted but il get a series 1 normal bar for now. as cheap as possible
  19. apparently psi parts had done a new mould to make them fit better. hopefully there better than what ur talking about
  20. i think it was .82 housing for the 450hp at 25psi 4500 rpm.definately wasnt the .63

  22. it seems to work ok but looks shit. it was holding 20psi good on my vl turbo but dont know how to hook it up and adjust it properly.
  23. where do i put it on and does it matter if i put it reverse ,like the wrong way round? do they only flow 1 way or doesnt it matter. how many turns wud i need to do to make the boost go up coz i dont wanna turn it half a turn or watever and it goes up to 20 psi or something. its sum cheap crap 1 it looks like but shud do hopefully
  24. the spool forged rb25 rods r 675 with bolts ready to drop in. im not sure how much the gtr rods wud b worth after shotpeening but id say thered b stuff all difference and the forged rods wud b stronger. so get them.
