  1. On a stock RB20 engine and stock RB20 turbo, it goes from the compressor housing to the wastegate actuator diaphram. boost is controlled directly via the wastegate spring. see here.. http://www.meggala.com/rb20turbofront.jpg
  2. Only way to run them venting to atmo is if you have acar with no AFM. and even then, they will need some sort of one way valve/filter on the end of them. so on your car, yes. PLUMB BACK ONLY.
  3. Swaps for 18's?
  4. Guys.. I prepared a technical document at Fast fours a while ago which makes good use of this item for sale.. http://forums.fastfours.com.au/showpost.ph...mp;postcount=16 If that is what you are after, I'd suggest you jump on this item.
  5. TTT

    Gtr Bov

You mean this one? This is the bov you are selling that has a condition of FINE? Don't try to scam people mate.
  6. are you trying to vent to atmo or plumb back?
  7. I'll be honest man.. that made no sense what so ever to me. I don't see how they have an extra 2 meters of piping.
  8. You should put an RB26 in to a mustang..
  9. only the dump/front pipes are the same. after the cat it's different. not by much but it is not a direct bolt on
  10. Ah I see.. work firewall etc etc.
  11. I read the thread twice. I can't see how this is a budget build. and I also can't see the dyno vid... just pics. something removed?
  12. Yes Roy has an TD06-20g (8cm) on his RB20. the vid in my sig is how it behaves..
  13. wouldn't beliee it if it doesn't have a receipt. Alot of people "rebuild" their own engines themselves, so they might not have a receipt from a workshop. but they will need to at least have receipts of the parts used.
  14. all the things that cop got him for sound legit. so what's the big deal? he took the risk by doing "illegal" mods (as stupid a law as we might think they are), and he got done for them. why are people complaining about the cop? as for the return flow coolers. ARC, BLITZ, APEXI, and now COOLING PRO (from Just Jap and probably other places) make this. and for the person saying it uses extra pipe, you're wrong. the usual over the radiator, through the reo and look back around method uses the same or more piping than the return flow ones. The cooling pro kits are about $500 I think. http://justjap.com/store/manufacturers.php...ion=&page=2 towards the bottom
  15. AntiLag then change plates to WRC R33
  16. I have 2 letter and 2 numbers as my suggestion. AW11 4agze powered ones with good mods can be had for about $7K in really good condition. car weighs about 950kg if I didn't need some sort of back seat, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. http://www.artandautomotiveclassic.com/ima...MR2-FS02mod.jpg http://members.aol.com/mr2home/mr2_86/loog_2.jpg http://www.carontrack.com/toyota/mr2/aw11-015.jpg http://www.carontrack.com/toyota/mr2/aw11-014.jpg If he is thinking of spending $10K on a mx5 (I assume it wil lbe the 1.6L 89-91 model), then this is a far better choice.
  17. yeh alright.. we'll go along with that story.. and stop sending me photos via PM
  18. I think he's after the water pump dude. maybe someone can at least take a photo of their series 2 water pump for Gary so he can see if it's the same.
  19. I disagree. $1.55 for regular unleaded here in Brisbane. so I assume sydney is $1.65 add 10 cents for 98 octane fuel. not many people can afford to keep up with this these days. they will have to sell the car. like I said, plenty of people selling their cars. heaps of competition. the price will keep going down. I also disagree with the $7K for R32 GTST. unless like I said, early model with auto and really bad condition.
  20. 50cc? the smallest car turbo I can think of is off a Suzuki cappuccino http://www.phlux.co.uk/photos/2006-06-10/1.jpg but they are 660cc 3 cylinder motors. I don't think you are going to find a turbo small enough for a 50cc motor to spin up.
  21. if anyone is interested, I have a Blitz pod and Blitz pod adapter that I removed to fit the stock air box. made HEAPS of noise with the Blitz. chicks will definitely fornicate with you if you buy the Blitz pod.
  22. I'm glad you understand then.
  23. the fact that you can't understand how my comment was related to ANYONE who replied to posts from 2006 puts you down as the teamleader of the retard group. congrats on the promotion Femno. Just in case that didn't make sense to you, your husband "ALSO" replied to a post from 2006. he just decided that my amature comedy was to be pulled up.
  24. Just made a few adjustments to the above.. in reality though, a 1992 R32 gtst fetches the same if not more than a series 1 R33. If you actually manage to get offered $12K for your skyline, I'd grab it with both hands. People keep saying "oh the market for imports has really gone down of late.." if by of late you mean 5 years, then yes.. it has gone down. there are HEAPS to choose from. there a HEAPS of people who can't afford them. HEAPS of competition. in reality, if you want to sell your car, advertise it for a high $11K figure and expect to sell for something between $10.5K - $11K If I were you, i'd start collecting stock parts. get your car back to stock, and sell it for $10K... Bargain for the person buying it. then sell your good bits like wheels, cooler, suspension, recaro seat etc on their own to maybe make back another $2K? But most people can't be farked doing all that and just take the loss. money talks mate. I rocked up to see a car with $2900 LESS than the advertised price. Gave him my offer, he said no. I showed him the wad of bills and said "We'll I'm sure someone else will be willing to trade a whale for this.." Drove it home.
