  1. I had 5 runs on my first time there in a 200sx. first run was a 14.8 last run was a 13.8 every run I did, I thought, I'll change this next time etc and it kept improving. lots of fun. espesially the 14.8 run, which was, wheel spin, wheel spin, wheel spin, wheel spin, rev limiter in first, second, wheel spin, wheel spin, wheel spin all the while swinging the rear left to right and back... rev limiter in 2nd, 3rd, bog... then eventually cross the line just hitting the limiter in 3rd.. lol.
  2. it sounds like you haven't run your car at WSID before correct? if so, don't be surprised to get a few 13-14 second time slips before your 250rwkw gets you something like a flat 13 or high 12.
  3. lol... never mind. Noel - are you ever in the city area?
  4. You'll end up getting a Supra. 100%
  5. I noticed.
  6. works for me.. I just put a "nogaylordz" policy on the pics.. maybe that's why you can't see them?
  7. They put a stop to that years ago mate
  8. no..!! the lada.. ! this one..
  9. series 8 Type RS? how much are one of these. the is saying he wants an RX7 until he can afford an R34 GTR. which seems to be under $50K these days via import. he post by KIN seems to be what I've heard from my mates with rotaries. One has a series 6. the radiator issue was his cause for rebuild. thw twin turbo's and their well known problem of cracking the rear housings caused him to get a bigger single. the bigger turbo need for FMIC caused him to spend ALOT of money on cooling upgrades. They are sweet looking cars. no doubt about it. and they go like shit off a shovel. well balanced etc etc. but man.. if you are going to buy one, spend extra and buy one already rebuilt with all the problems that KIN has posted, already fixed with receipts to prove it. It's very much like buying an 89 GTR for $15K... you gotta have another $15K to sort it out once it pops. and they all pop. unless you granny it. but who buys skylines or rx7's to granny?
  10. to the OP - you obviously want the Supra. every post you have made so far is in favour of the 2J. just get that. you're obviously not after circuit times or time slipped drag times. Get the supra. your $10K on mods will get you more power (which is also what you seem to be most concerned with) with the Supra.
  11. Are you f*king retarded? you think it takes an exhaust and some boost to bring an RB26 or 2J to 500hp at the engine? you think those 2 mods are going make 373kw at the engine. that is over 300rwkw. is this on a PERTH Dyno?
  12. put aside money for rebuilds every 5000kms... Rev, Bang, rebuild
  13. Dear Potato, After reading your response regarding wanting a POD Filter for sound and your thoughts on being able to achieve 250rwkw using stock exhaust, I would like to unsubscribe from your Publication. It is obviously run by Monkeys and/or people who like Chrome. Thanks for your understanding. Performance Enthusiast.
  14. let us know..
  15. yeh.. come for a drive in to the city tomorrow. bring turbotech. I'll give you $20.. should cover your petrol costs.. and you'll get to see humans instead of farm animals like every other day
  16. agreed - top bloke - very good at what he does.
  17. Go 33 - you're refering to the external bovs causing cars to stall. this has nothing to do with that.. but probably eventually will..
  18. ahem!!!
  19. Roy and RB20 talk > *
  20. I rekon. I mean, I could understand it if the thread was about how R32 GTST owners are Dreamers..., but this is just stoopid.
  21. TTT

    Wanted - R33 Gtst

Yeh I already got one. I used Bunta's photo as a bargaining tool to buy it for $2K less than asking price.. LOL
  22. ouch... Also, I didn't know the R34 GTT ecu was being re-mapped/chipped as well now. DR-DRIFT has worked with Mercury Motorsport I believe and they do the remapps. Didn't know about the R34 chip.
  23. hmmm.. I took the photo for humour purposes but it seems it was helpful too. awesome.
  24. you just bought it. who knows when it was last serviced. change the spark plugs to start with.. here's my recent service speed hump.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Su...ed-t212729.html I was getting missfire at high revs too. pics might show you why.. as for revs, mine doesn't rev that high at cold start so I'm not sure why that might be. Idle can be adjusted. and warm idle shouldn't be 1000rpm.
  25. 25psi and stock RB25 internals.. this motor should make about 40% across 2 cylinders.
