  1. Yeh sorry. my bad. I must have misread this.
  2. non turbo GTST = GTS and between an R32 GTS or R33 GTS, I most definitely choose the Corolla SX.
  3. are you suggesting that he was participating in illegal street racing?
  4. can I ask how you came to the conclusion that the RB20 turbo on the RB25 motor makes the same power if not better than an RB25 motor? and how does it not choke up top? dyno sheets?
  5. air cond vent motor thing. If I remember, it was when going from face to feet. I'm guessing R32. both of mine did it.
  6. we'll I've got mine on carsales too now so if/when it goes to a new home, I'll pay you a visit. unless of course you're sells first.
  7. If you can't see the brakes, then that's your problem JAS - shut the hell up with your shutups
  8. oh look, theres a "RB25det turbo upgrade" thread up above. I wonder if I can find out information about what other RB25det owners have upgraded to and what power they have.
  9. you keep asking the same questions over and over. 1.) will the stock dump pipes fit the R34 N1's. - YES. BUT it is suggested that you get aftermarket ones while you are swapping as puting aftermarket dump pipes later will require you to remove the turbo's again which means more labour, which means more money. 2.) will 550cc injectors give me about 300rwkw - one guy aboe your post said he had 314kw using those turbo's and those injectors. 3.) what supporting mods - been told 550cc injectors and appropriate fuel pump, ecu and tuning. 4.) will it be reliable - you have forged pistons etc. if you have the fueling and tuning right, then yes, like a few people have said, up to 20psi would be doable. will give you your 300rwkw, be reliable, and run 11's.
  10. new pics added to first post.
  11. holly same thoughts batman!
  12. ummm.. the second picture, where the car looks like its BENT! it has 4 stud wheels. and no 4 piston calipers. so is it a non turbo car that has then had a turbo RB25det put in to it or the stock RB25DE that has been turbo charged? pics of engine bay?

    Your Opinion?

I wished it on the ones that stole my car. but it didn't happen.
  14. cosmo = http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ma...ld-t193168.html Sale = something that is to be sold. when one person wants to sell an item, they put it up "for sale" it then eventually becomed SOLD which is a pastence for sale or sell.
  15. The only NA skyline I'd get is an Aus R31. there are so many other BETTER cars for beginners. I would much prefer a Corolla sx or gti, Pulsar SSS, swift gti over an NA R33, R32. or since your old mans a mechanic, why not get an old school escort and build it with him? little hatch fwd's are perfect for beginners. not only is it harder to get in to trouble, they are cheaper to buy, they are cheaper to maintain, less on insurance, less on fuel, more rewarding to drive. for $7500, you could get a REALLY good condition version of the above cars. My opinion only of course.
  16. serisouly. why didn;t you buy a non turbo one or just buy a non turbo car of any sort till you could have one. now you have a 9.0:1 compression, 2.5, non turbo, 1390kg car that will drive like shit. surely you could have researched this forum for opinions and others experience on this. way to re-invent the wheel. I can't believe that you took the word of a "salesmen" about the product he is selling as the truth. I bet you also believe that McDonalds healthy range is actually good for you too hey?
  17. gees. how deep did you go?
  18. I thought it was 65 thick.
  19. I would seriously hold out and save more money and buy one that has a receipted engine rebuild with new turbo's. OR buy one for $12K less than what a rebuilt one would cost. The cheapest RB26 rebuild I've seen on these forums was one guy who got it rebuilt to stock nissan specs using stock nissan parts and re-used his stock turbos. the total was $6700 or there abouts.
  20. car from perth? it would have sand in it's vagina
  21. Roy - You've changed your tune... I remember a thread where you were arguing against those exact point with Gary. yes no?

  23. yeh I described what I meant 20 mins before you posted... just above this post. that was the $5K I was refering to. got it from Dale? (10secrx7) he has/had a upgraed package of: manifold TD04 Microtech and tune and a few other bits. was under $5K from memory and pretty much gave a power/weight to run a 12.xx then it was a matter of driver ability and traction.
  24. yeh I was trying to work out how the first one held the bike in place. second one looks the goods. a standard big w tow bar bike rack costs about $80 so even at $110 or about there, it is a good deal. especially considering a towbar that looks professional and is removable will cost a couple of hundred to start with. thanks mate. I'll contact you again when the time is right.
