R32 - $10.5K from forum member R32 - $9.8K R33 gtst - $10K Just for JAS - also a forum member car 180sx - $9.5K S13 - rb20 - $9.8K - but brown interior S13 - $10.5K - with 55,000kms on new motor.. yeh right.. and pink wheels. S13 - rebuilt SR (No receipts) looks pretty good - $9.5K so there are some good examples out there for the money. just need to see what fits me the best..

One very important thing has come up from this thread and it's the fact that GTR Geoff is a bounty hunter. I want stories. couple of other less important points. foamer - I admire your dedication to do the work you do. I don't like that you have excuses for the people you work with. and don't say you make excuses because you did in the example of the 14 year old thief who's father gave it to him when he was younger. 1 + 1 does not equal 11 he is 14, robbed a place. cautioned and counciled by you for the better. Let's hope he changes for the better. I had a dream.. that all men are created equal.... not really... some are born in to rich families some to poor etc. The story on one of these kids are that he was a good boy. did well in school. did some drugs at schoolies. got addicted. went to "COUNCILING/REHAB" about it (funded by us DICKHEADS mind you) then was ok for a while. then went BACK to rehab funded by us again. our funding, that pays YOU and others in your and similar fields to help them, then checked himself out, and HOURS later needed a drug hit, so robbed someone etc etc. How can you expect people to be forgiving? The kid had no brain disability. he made the choices to start drugs... he could have spent that money to buy suppliments and do training to better himself. he made the choice to be a DRUGf**kED moron. then the guy he stole the car off paid to help him stop being a junkie. then he paid to help him again after he failed the first time. then he got out for the second time and came straight for the guy that had been helping him the whole time with his hard earned tax money, to take what was left in his wallet and the car he owned with the money that was left over after paying for his rehab. You don't have a leg to stand on mate. these 2 paid the price for what they did. death was the price and they deserved it. May the XR6 rest in peace. May the 2 f**kers rott in hell

even if they spun the story to say good on them for stealing their cars (which you know is bullshit and would never be said), at least it will mention that cars are being stolen from these areas. people will see the ads about "performance cars" on TT and ACA and will go.. oh here we go. lets see what they say now. they will get the shits about the story, but at least they will hear that all this theft has happened there. instead of bitching about how you think the story will go, why not try. what have you got to lose? 5 minutes? numbers make differences. I mean how many of you f**kers forwarded on those stupid "don't buy fuel on wednesday" emails when they first went around via email before they reached forums. that was dumb. but it reached thousands of people. I can't believe that there is a medium that airs every night, has a website, asks you to suggest a story, and the car community won't get behind it. any publicity is good publicity. even if they put a hoon spin on it, people will watch it to see what bullshit they will say this time. they will see/hear that many hoon vehicles have been stolen from this area. and they will stop going there. Or, why doesn't the NSW SAU club members put together some evidence, numbers etc of what has been happening, then ask to speak to a superior officer in a professional manner, stating that you are the secretary/chairman etc of a motoring organisation, and here is the evidence of how many cars have been stolen from here here and here. perhaps suggest that a small operation be conducted and that the club is willing to help in anyway they can. everyone has a f**king cry about this shit but when a suggestion is made, no-one wants to try ANYTHING except say "Karma will get them" or "let's get a mob together and bash these scums. All f**king talk. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I'm happy to remove the arm and leg you will no doubt required to purchase it. one good thing I can see. is that even at free reving, it vents just like a stock one would. so it should not have any fluttering like some of the other aftermarket plumback ones.

When you say "SLIT my tyre" do you mean like slashed. popped.?? did you take photos of the dodgey brick area and the dodgey brick that slashed your tyre? However when i was turning back to get on the right side of the road" do you mean on the CORRECT side of the road as in you have to go in to oncoming traffic side of the road to go around these dodgey bricks or do you mean you swearve left then back towards the right (as in to the center of the road - still on the correct side of the road)? and I guess the last obvious quesiton is, do you have comprehensive insurance? DO'H.. I just saw the answers to most of those quesitons above.

JAS-25T - you offered to swap me a car? I remember the offer of Dunlop Volleys... and I did ask for pics.. I agree about the R33. there are a couple available for $10K ish. actually a couple of series 2 for $12K ish. the 3 cars here are all 2L and smaller so I figured a slightly better comparo.. you know.. kinda like apples and nashi pears rather than apples and carrots. Medium Dave - there is no cars after wedding.. I just bought the missus a brand new Tiida. so I now get to buy what I want. and I don't want to spend over $10K.

I asked about these 3 cars as they are similar in price. around $10K will get you an "OK" version of each. CA powered ones are even cheaper for OK ones or ones with rebuilt motors and shit load of work are about $11K. but I am not so sure about the CA's. even the highly modified, forged this and that and close to 20psi boost with aftermarket ball bearing turbo's seem to make about 200kw. seems like ALOT of work for the power.

Let them know that you know of x instances in the past month of cars being taken. and how westfields are not doing anything to help like security cameras or ticket parking. and because nothing is being done, cars keep getting taken. It may not get us anywhere, but at least you are TRYING to get it out to the general public who don't use performance car forums. Maybe, if a large number of people suggest the same thing, they might do something about it and air it. Maybe people who are on multiple forums can suggest everyone on the other forums do the same. Numbers make noise..!!

Thanks Funky. Shabadoo - SR as for the rest going on about facelift etc. waste of time. not looking for cosmetic mods. any mod done to any car will be performance based. as for Mountain bike,. I will have to attach a towbar to any car I get. It'll just be easier. Series 1 S14's seem to fall in to the same bracket in stock AUTO form. but f*k that!! 180-200rwkw is a max I'll ever want. all of these cars are capable with a turbo + usual mods. I find it odd that the R32 has more room than the s13's. What 5L? - I have no idea what you are trying to say after the word "modify"

If I remember correctly, a TD05 big 16G is rated at 350-360hp. it is the stock turbo on EVO 3's. usually good for about 200awkw on the 4G63. It is also only oil cooled. what is the HKS 2530 rated at? edit - I see above. seems like a downgrade.

Before I get banned.. These 3 cars seems to be the common options at certain price ranges. People have their opinions on why they buy the car they do. So I'd like to hear your reasons as to which of those cars would make for a better street car. Try not to be RB>all type person in this thread for one instance. Silvia = 1190kg, 155kw 180sx = 1200kg, 155kw R32 = 1290kg, 160kw sure it seems the S13's would be the faster car but that doesn't always matter. skyline has the better brakes. I will ask the same quesiton on NS.com to get their baised opinon on this matter. Keep it civil, and keep this thread unlocked. Why did you chose the car you have (out of the list above) over the others.
