  1. rev210 - what were you doing during the cyclone that hit the banana region last year?
  2. nah. I'd go a towbar before a roof rack. and I don't want to do that.
  3. hi. I came across this when I had a bitsamissing. http://vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html should be easy enough to make up and cost fark all.
  4. Any of you skyline owners (2 or 4 door) own a mountain bike and manage to get it in the car? backseat or boot. removing front wheel only. I'm wondering if it fits in the back of a 2 door R32 or R33. 4 door R32 or R33. or boot of any of the above cars. pic would be good too if you happen to have time. may go back to a skyline. don't want a towbar.
  5. amasingly enough carsales has some.. Black R33 - 170rwkw - $10K stockish R33 - $12K - can make 200rwkw with the $3K you save. 190rwkw - $14K - 145,000kms Why you would want a black car in level 6 water restrictions I have no idea, but there you go.
  6. and the city in which you reside is..........
  7. check the DIY section. search for taping+coils cheap solution until you can get new ones.
  8. most obvious of the above is what a friend and I did back a few years ago. he had just modified his S15 (had about 190rwkw) and my R32 gtst was with the usual mods making 150rwkw or something. we had a one way street at the back of our work where the left side is a wall and the right side if the building we work in. long story short, we went in each car one at a time. roll start, plant foot in 1st and second etc. the S15 gets to about 3000rpm, spins wheels to about 5000 rpm, then traction, then shift at 6500rpm. in the skyline, gets to about 4000rpm, spins wheels till I shift at 7000rpm. skyilne was definitely slower less power etc, but the power delivery was very different between the 2. the rb just wanted to keep climbing. the SR wanted to be shifted to next gear. The specs on paper don't make much sense when you've driven both. you think that they have to be wrong.
  9. jeebus.. Blair witch dosing project
  10. dissapointed with you Roy... forget it. carry on..
  11. how do you explain the 2nd to 4th words in the comments? must be selling 2 cars and got the pics mixed up for the ads.
  12. Mate I don't care where you live, or what race you married. if you want to be a sensitive bitch because someone made a generalization joke, then that is your problem. Mods have spoken, I've been informed it was not on, I apologized. tell me something. what do you think of islamic terrorists who destroyed the twin towers, or the ones on the subway explosions, or the ones on the bus in UK. Do you see me get my panties in a knot when people put hate on them cause I happen to be of the same religion? Man the f**k up! I don't think there has been one instant on this forum where I have made a serious comment. you obviously didn't know this even though.... so you would have known that it was a wise arse remark to get a chuckle. but no. Just because you live there and happen to be married to a Japanese girl, you decided that me calling them skinny somehow effected you. well here you go. I'm sorry it hurt your feelings. I hope that your wife is OK and that it hasn't made her feel uncomfortable in anyway. For future reference. Please don't say "ANYTHING" about Aussies, muslims, lebs, iraqies etc. I happen to know some people who are from all of those races and I will get upset
  13. corolla twin cam
  14. It was a generalisation. a joke. you know.. like me being a greasy wog (which I would be if I had hair) The mods have already had there say.. so who are you to stand on the soap box and try to tell me what's right or wrong? If you haven't already sent a complaint to a mod about it, then maybe you should. maybe the power of one can get me banned. until then, you keep posting boring videos.
  15. 2 rb25 turbo's will surely be too laggy. they are responsive on a 2.5L, they feel OKish on a 2L. 2 of them on a 3L will be lazy as. Have you had a look at HYPERGEAR stuff? they seem to be cheapish. by the time you bought unknown quality second hand turbo's, created 2 adapters, probably modified the intake piping and dump pipes, you might not be saving that much money for what might be a shit result. can't you save for another month then do it right?
  16. cool that should come in handy..
  17. how about 2 t25G from a CA18det? they have steel wheels I believe. they should be cheap as chips. if you are making adapter plates, why not branch out to other turbos? VF10 is the smallest turbo's used by EJ20's. they came on Auto Legacy Turbo's. on the 2L ej20, these were at fullboost (10 psi stock) by 2300rpm. VF8 or VF12 these were on the AUS Liberty RS Turbo, slightly bigger than the VF10. full boost on the EJ by 2800rpm TD04 stock WRX turbo from 97 - 2003 or something like that. similar spec to the VF8 and VF12 but newer. possibly slightly quicker spool. all of the above turbo's cost between $150 - $300 each. next level up is TD05 which was on the early STI's and early WRX's. these are more laggy but have good top end on the EJ's. 2 may be too laggy on a 3L. some guy on Performance forums used 2 VF10's on a 1jz and was making over 250rwkw at a lowish boost. with not much lag. All of the turbo's above are good for about 16-17psi.
  18. don't gap iridium plugs. the tip is very fragile. Just go to supacheap and buy 6 copper plugs with the code above, with an 0.8mm gap. (they cost about $4.50 each) while you are there, ask for a feeler tool to gap sparkplugs. then as said above, check them.
  19. agreed - although didn't know about the cams..
  20. His actually from a moon of a planet. the Planet Uranus has a small moon called hisanus.. he is from the backside of hisanus
  21. what was the gap on the "new" spark plugs? do you still have the standard 20 year old Coil packs?
  22. oh it's still a whale.. It's like a fat chick is still a fat chick even if she is wearing expensive clothes and make up and hair. kind hide fatphuckness
  23. no.. you said so we asumed he was getting a TT supra and he keeps shitting on about how much better they are then skylines and so yes. it is better than a skyline gtst and... Bold sections are true... the rest of that quote is so so wrong that it makes me laugh..
  24. skoold much?
  25. "IDEALY" if removing manifold/turbo/exhaust, you'd replace all the studs and bolts with new STAINLESS items and also get the little "LOCK" things that come stock. it basically is like a washer with claws that go on AFTER the nut, and holds it in place. also, working on the hot engine is a pain, but at least the dettol and band aids will be worth the purchase
