  2. the scream on boost is usually the gasket/s. any of the 3. block to manifold manifold to turbo turbo to dump pipe most of the time, you'll find that you're missing bolts/nuts off their. especially if it still the original turbo it came with. have a quick inspection. you will need to remove the heat shield (if it's still there). it is only a few bolts (spray them with WD40 30 minutes before removing them if you intend to put the shield back on otherwise they will probably snap) do it when the car is cold obviously. once the shield is off, you will be able to see the nuts/bolts for all of the locations I said above, except maybe the bottom dump pipe bolts. if they are all there, see if you can "GENTLY" tighten them any more than they are. they may be loose, and tightening them slightly might be enough to stop the leak between the gasket. gaskets are cheap (about $30 for the kit) but expect to pay over $300 to a mechanic to get them all replaced as it is a turbo off job and takes a few hours. if you can do it yourself, then it will cost you $30 for gaskets, $30 for beer, $2.30 for dettol, $1.95 for pack of band aids. hope you're not a hand model either.. make sure people who don't like cursing are not around.
  3. picsofmodsuckingowncockorban as for the 180. what is the goal. if he wants the same response he has now with the ability to make about 200rwkw, get a turbo off an S15. yes it's a T28. it bolts straight on. while you're at it, get the injectors from the S15 too. once he has more cash, he is a fuel pump, PFC, EBC, Z32 AFM and tune away from 200rwkw in a 1200kg body should be fun with no extra lag compared to stock. those turbo's can be had for about $400 there are 2 types. ball bearing and non ball bearing. and both come on aus and jap spec S15's it's all very random. the only way to tell without pulling it apart is from the part number stamped on the body of the turbo. both can get to 200kw region. ball bearing would be better obviously but apart from a little more response, you won't be missing out on much. more power after that is much more dinero
  4. well you got an engine on the way so don't even worry about it. maybe set aside $300 just incase this one goes the way of ceramic wheel heaven. buy a second hand one and swap it over.

You can't seriously tell me you are making more power than these. Your money/time/choice.

  12. take a look at a stock smic that has come out of a skyline. it has dents, chips, rocks, bugs, cat fur , and all kinds of shit. you really want a put your air filter there? the only thing that is stopping your engine being filled with all this crap? Just use the stock air box, cut a 100mm hole under it, and put a PVC pipe from there, through the hole int he chassis under it which was being used by the stock intercooler pipe, and a small bend to have it facing the front. cold, air, legal air box, max performance, min fuss, min cost.

  15. It's a well known fact that the japs build cars to suit their people. the cars are smaller due to the fact that Jap men have small wangs and therefore can keep their legs closer together. Jap women are usually skinny f*ks as well so fitting 5 japs in to a car is easy in a jap car. in stralya (that's where we live), more than half the population are what is scientifically classified as "FATPHUCKIS MAXIMUS" Instead of doing something about this problem, they resolve the issue with bigger motors in cars, bigger cars, relabel clothing sizes so that 110kg bushpigs can say "I'm a size 10", advertise that McDonalds Burgers are 100% lean beef, and repremand the school bully for making fun of the 10 year old boys boobies. This is the reason for the big cars. This is the truth. I'm GTST.
  16. If you have a stock RB20 ECU with stock AFM with all wires intact, then you have a 180km/h speed limiter. the only odd sound I know on the R32's is the 110km/h speed warning chime. I bashed my ones good!

    Should I Swap

    You have a very nice car. you have spent a shit load no doubt. and you will lose money if you sell. If you weren't in a hurry to sell, you might find the right buyer. but it is like an unwritten law.. you will reduce and reduce the price until it is a massive loss and you will just get rid of it at what ever cost. You might actually get the dollars you are asking for it if it were manual. selling a skyline is hard. selling an R33 skyline is even harder. selling an auto R33 GTST is next to impossible. There are auto R33's for $10K. the fact is, if you bought the R33 Auto for even $8K it's a bargain. but if you wanted to make this $8K skyline in to what your car is, it will total well over your asking $18K. But you can't explain this to people. they just don't see it like that. All the best in your sale/trade mate.
