  1. Dump and front pipe and large Cat (if not included in the "kakimoto exhaust") or SAFC NEO would fit in the under $1100 catagory installed and tuned. or Some new Shock absorbers to replace the dead old ones which have further been killed by the lowered springs.
  2. I only made 155 kw. but that was me, strapped to the dyno and running as if I was on a treadmill. not bad for minimal mods of short, old tshirt and 8 month old Puma shoes. I did however remove the undies for weight reduction. Currently running mid 12's
  3. f**k that.. drill the hole out the guard. sick bro..

  5. There is a new website so you may not have come across it.. I don't think many people know about it yet. You go there, and then search for anything you want and it will find video clips of them all. www.youtube.com search skyline you can also go to this one.. www.youporn.com not much on skylines on that one.. plenty of other good stuff though..

  8. Get rid of this..
  9. This mod was done many many moons ago with the Gen 1 VR4's or TALON's in the US. you crush the top, it preloads the spring, and therefore needs more boost to open. However, crushing it also means that it doesn't vent as much at lower boost levels. so you will get flutter at lower boost levels. here is another mod you can do to them apart from crushing them. http://www.thedodgegarage.com/turbo_bov_mod.html There is also the "screw in the hole" mod that's been around. if you want to see other mad dodgey mods and some decent ones.. go here.. http://vfaq.com/index-main.html I think they even have instructions on how to build a little device you acn use to check for leaks in your intercooler piping.
  10. Shetland Pen That is all.
  11. look at the turbo's front on. The GCG hiflow one has a larger entry hole (thinner matterial as it has been bored out) and the back. Look how much bigger the wheel is on the back. an to do this, it has to be bored out. You will see that the gap between the wheel and the wastegate flap is less in the hiflow pic. essentially, to make it FLOW MORE as in a HIGHER FLOWING unit, it is bored (machined) out to make the holes bigger. Then they use larger wheels to fit in that gap.
  12. these threads are as common as bov and missfire threads.

  16. Nothing to do with this thread but all this talk about the Legnum.. I've been looking at them recently but can't see any Manual ones. Mitchy - is your the tiptronic one? they are still 5 speed auto/tiptronic aren't they? does it feel like a slushomatic? they weigh around the 1500kg right? how tight is the engine bay? 300zx tight? how easy would it be to replace turbos or the rear 3 spark plugs for example?
