  1. ^^^ You're getting a Handbag for xmas aren't you? or maybe a towbar for the skyline so that you can tow your dresses.
  2. You need bov.. two of the big ones.. and Molloy.. do you know when you need them by?
  3. do people like the Tuna there?
  4. ^^^ that's crazy man.. you'll wreck your engine. You gotta warm it up.. like me.. each night, I put a container of oil in to a speacially built room which is heated to 80 degrees. before I start my car in the morning, I pull the head off and put a little bit of this pre-heated oil in the pistons to make sure they are lubricated and warm. I then torque down the head and put it all back together. I then proceed to take the turbo off, pull it apart and lubricate the bearings with the same pre-heated oil. I then put it back on. Then, I pull the injectors off, put a little bit of fuel in them and install them back in. I remove the spark plugs, put them in the heated room for 20 minutes to warm them up, then install them back in the car. THEN, I put the key in the ignition, turn it to reds and wait for the pump to prime. Then I crank it over and start the car. At this point, I let the car idle for 55 minutes exactly to make sure it has warmed up properly. While it is doing that, I jack up the car and spin the wheels by hand then run to the drivers side and step on the brake. I do this about 15 times to get a little bit of heat in to the brakes. after 55 minutes have passed, I remove my tyre warmers and thermal blanket off the car and drive slowly, making sure I don't go over 0 on the boost gauge and not over 1500rpm on the tacho.. for at least the next 10 minutes. At this point, it is safe to drive the car to a maximum of 3200rpm.. you don't want to thrash them over that.. Revs kills engines you know.. This routine takes about 12 hours each morning, but it is well worth it. I strongly suggest you all do the same thing.. You would if you really cared about your skyline.
  5. When I steal cars, I thrash the living shit out of them from cold. I drift around every corner with my head and right arm out the window. when I'm stopped at lights, I do a burn out on the spot for about 30 seconds before the lights go green. oh.. umm.. we were talking about when we stole cars right? right?
  6. yeh usually "OHMAGOD!!!!" over and over..
  7. DR-DOOF. that is not an 05 STI turbo. that is a standard 94-96 Sti turbo or standard 94 wrx turbo. TD05H was no used in standard WRX after 96 I think. they went down to lady size td04's. STI's went to VF series. Largest STOCK STI turbo was the VF22 which is bigger than any stock Nissan turbo. And saying a 2L subaru engine makes less power or torque than a 2.5 ro 2.6 is just stating the obvious. Compare it to the Nissan 2L.. SR20, RB20.. more of an equal match. the guy saying "if I ran 16psi in my Stag, I'd beat this and that.." go run 16 psi in your stag. when it gets to 10 psi, get an ecu to fix the R&R issue. when it gets to 14psi and pops replace with another.. repeat until you manage to find a stock RB25 turbo that stays together at 16psi. then lets see if your 1700kg whaling boat can actually beat anything.
  8. he means where you park your car. the station name. the suburb. the fact that you leave it there 8 hours a day with no paging alarm system.
  9. user "markimak" is doing one right now..
  10. no need.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...l=rev210+intake
  11. Nothing wrong with being honest mate. But lets admit it. Skylines get stolen. most are not insured. someone says "my skyline got broken in to at this station.. which is in this suburb right near these 2 suburbs. I've been parking there for the past 2 years with no problems... I have to park there to catch a train to the city" scum of the earth goes. hmm. black R32 @ train station X which seems to be in this suburb and is there for at least 8 hours, 5 days a week.. has had a broken window already and no-one did anything sweet. I've got all the time in the world to take it or take parts of it. Just because it's a lowly GTST doesn't mean it won't be targeted. It's already really easy for people to find out shit loads about you over the internet if they wanted to. why make it so easy?
  12. flight to sydney would only be about $150 one way. the drive back would be about $100 of petrol if that.
  13. that's the way mate.. tell everyone where you park your Black R32 GTST All day every day. Some people are waaaaaay to trusting.. Do you realise that you don't even need a logon to view this site? do you realise that your car is parked there for over 8 hours all day? you obviously don't have a fancy alarm that pages you if the car moves or is broken in to other wise it wouldn't have sat there all day with a smashed window. I'd seriously think about blanking out the area where your car is parked. and possibly ask others that have quoted it to blank it out. or get a mod to do it all.
  14. I thought REV210 put this in the DIY section. Did the article give any credit to where they got the "idea" from?
  15. EDIT - beaten to it.. it's not about safe. it's about airflow. R33 and over 10psi of airflow on stock ecu = rich and retard which you will feel as a bad missfire/power loss/jerking type thing. with the FMIC it will be worse. the air will be cooler therefore more dense which will mean it will cut out at lower revs say about "4500rpm" you need some sort of ecu controling thing. Cheap = SAFC expensive and better = aftermarket programable ECU (Power FC, MICROGUESS, WOLF, etc etc)
  16. it wasn't a rebuild. it was another second hand block.
  17. = MORGSMOBILE Leave your ego for when you go clubing bro.
  18. if it's rain related, it must be water getting in to something. Vented Bonnet = spark plug swimming pool fully sick pod filter in front bar = wet muff .. sorry.. I mean wet MAF.
  19. Don't worry Roy.. You'll be a Growd up one day too. Also - I think you'll find that your next car will be a silver R32 GTST worth $26K That car ain't going no-wheres Dreamer..
  20. Easiest option for you is to save money while driving around in your fairly new non turbo skyline. once off your P's, sell it to another P plater, then buy your self an R34 GTT. Not worth the hassle. Legally, you can only use an RB26dett out of an R34 GTR (big dollars) you can also put an RB25det from an R34 GTT (slightly smaller dollars) but then you still have the shit Brakes and gearbox (not sure if diff and suspension is any different - or interior for that matter) Not that you will listen, but saving for a GTT is your best option instead of trying an engine conversion or worse still, rebuilding the DE block to be DET (or DETT as you say)
  21. well actually... it IS cutting out due to the AFM. all the extra boost = extra air. AFM can't cope with it and it send the message to cut power but I know what you mean.
  22. Go to him with $5K cash in $50 bills in an envelope. Tell him this is all you are willing to pay for a bottom of the barrel skyline be prepared to walk away. But when he sees the beautiful plastic monies, he will agree. and you will drive home in your new skyline which will be beaten by any regular 1987 twin cam corolla. ALSO - for the rest of you dreamers.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...bo-t174877.html $18K for a GTR with mods. sure it has a few small problems, but so does any other car of the same era. Including your "best I'ev eva seen" gtst's. In other news, I've been looking at another 4 door R32 GTST
  23. LOL... I do what I can to fit in
  24. LOL.. I'm 30 and drive a 91 model car.. do you think I'm paying a mortgage? and reno's, and wife and dog. Don't preach to me about budgeting.. lol. It's a Liberty RS. yes it's on par with a GTST. but a few mods like most turbo cars make them move well. Considering the traction it has, it walks away from stock turbo'd r32's with ease if launched right. It only weighs about 50kg more than the gtst Turbo upgrade and I'd get left behind once you get traction.
