  1. I love budget builds.. 1.) R34 stock side mounted intercooler = $150 + $50 to mod it so that the inlet and outlet match the stock R32 one. 2.) GTR fuel pump - $150 3.) Stock RB25 turbo - $400 4.) Xforce Mild steel, turbo back exhaust - $700 5.) TurboTech manual boost controller - $40 6.) Case of beer to CEFFIE from these forums to remap your stock ECU - $50 That will have you at about 190-200rwkw and will have cost you about $1500 - $2K then you will need decent tyres and suspension setup to use the new found power.
  2. what a hassle. why do you need the new intake pipe?
  3. assuming you have a pod filter right? CAI will just make it the way it should be. getting cool air instead of hot engine bay air. If it's possible, you'd be better off putting the stock airbox on and using a Panel filter (even the stock paper nissan panel filter is not a restriction until way over 200rwkw)
  4. who are you? his husband?
  5. Well I'm not selling him any of mine..
  6. it seems that SAU doesn't have a :violin: emoticon.. this thread needs one. and possibly a :tissue: emoticon.
  7. sorry... you saying that the 180sx already has this? or are you saying that the 180sx needs the above mods to be a "drift pig"?
  8. Mens or womens anal beads? used or new? Youre going to have to give more detail when givin advice man.. or he might do the wrong thing..
  9. It seems that there is no-one home in this full house !
  10. Every time I read R32 GTR, I predict heartache and sale at a massive financial loss. There is no such thing as a cheap GTR. cheap purchase maybe.. but during your ownership, if you use the GTR like it shoul dbe used, it will cost you.. especially the R32's.. at least 13 years old (probably more like 17 years old) KNOWN common problems resulting in engine failure.. and just to prevent these common engine failures will cost you a shit load.. turbo's oil pump and crank collar oil restrictors. fuel pump might aswell stretch a little more for PFC, tune and boost controller. Include a full service of all fluids and oils and filters. and probably belts.. it seriously does not end. When you did the "must do" oil restrictors, you would have probably decided on forged pistons while it's open. If you can afford all of the above. or you can afford to buy an already built car (make sure it has receipts for all work and done by a known company), I just would not touch a GTR with a 10' clown pole. turbo, injectors and tune on the old RB20 will all be done under $5K. it will be in a car which is about 200kg lighter. and on an engine which you already know the condition of. and a replacement engine is like $500
  11. If you say so.. actually.. say so.. tell us what mods the 180sx currently has and what you think is required for a "drift pig"
  12. R34 GTT oil pumps do not have the short crank drive as far as I remember. they are fine. tell your mate it's fine.
  13. how do you suggest that parts of the exhaust wheel of the turbo get stuck in the intercooler? Also to the thread starter, I don't understand this.. what exactly did you do?
  14. I have a light.. where should I shine it?
  15. You seem to have your mind set on lots of stupid things...
  16. ^^^ should have been a 1J in there..
  17. he obviously knows what that part does.. I mean he used a coke bottle cap. isn't this obvious that this man is a highly qualified engine modifying guy?
  18. Don't do it. you're too young to die.
  19. coke bottle cap into skyline = VL ULEH!! zuutututututututu
  20. LMAO at getting aftermarket ECU and similar just so you can have psshhtt
  21. It sounds like an oil cooler and relocator kit should be on top of all skyline owners lists.
  22. y0 dog.. yor badge looks good on my chain as necklace dog.. I iz now well gangtsa. I is like Flava Flav but they call me GT ST numsaying dog?
  23. not the first time you didn't.. Don't make me find the thread...
  24. sorry. the fuel adjuster is pretty much like a RICE free SAFC. it allows the tuner to adjust AIR:FUEL ratio's. allowing more power to be made.
  25. Jay car prices: boost controller - $79.95 as a kit to be put together. hand controller - $59.95 as a kit to be put together. Fuel adjuster - $79.95 as a kit to be put together. I'll sell mine for $10 less each already put together. boost controller - $70 hand controller - $60 Fuel adjuster - $70 Plus postage obviously. also, I don't get how someone working for IBM has any more experience putting together a kit compared to anyone else that has hands, eyes and reading ability.
