  3. it's true.. buster does have a big head.. it's just that the rest of him is rather BUBBA sized too. he's like the mountain in BLUE MOUNTAINS. Don't hurt me uncle.. I see this thread turning in to the other "runs 10's thread"

  8. Just thought I'd link this here as well as it is in Brisbane.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=114978 Also add that I might consider swaping to an R33 gtst and I'll add some money on top if I thin it's worth it. cheers
  9. Morning all. Since moving up here, the transport authority or what ever it's called here has told me that to change my plates to QLD plates, I will need to get a RWC. in sydney we needed to get a "pink slip" every year when rego was renewed. which is basically where they do a brake test, check your lights, wipers, blah blah blah.. which I already did last november. anyway, I was hoping someone could point me to a mechanic in Brisbane (I'm on the northside), that won't take like 2 hours of my time and come up with crap like your window is dirty or bull crap like that. The car is already road worthy in sydney and it's no different here. So I am after someone that will give it the once over and give me this RWC. if you have a mechanic that you know or is a mate that you trust and so forth, please let me know. thank you.
  10. sorry squiz.. very nice car but out of my price range.. and I thought I'd go 33 gtst this time.. just to be like the commoners... don't want to stand out. want something everyone else has.. besides with price of 33 gtst's these days, Id only have to put a few grand on top of mine to get a decent one.. nice car you have though.., good luck with your sale,
  11. crazy.. look out buster...
  12. aftermarket bov?
  13. no harm in cleaning it out or re-soldering. it's piss easy
  14. you don't need to "OPEN IT UP" to clean it. you just need to take it off the car. unbolt the air box or pod filter. then undo the hose clamp that holds it on to the intake pipe. un plug the afm plug. now get degreaser and spray the inside where the wire is. hose it out.. (not with high pressure) dry it out. plug it all back in. if it still has problems, then you may need to resolder.. here is the prob I had..and the fix http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=118437&hl=
  15. My similar problem and solution.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=118437&hl= Note.. you're might be the AFM conections needing to be resoldered... there is a link on how to do it in my thread.. pics and all.
  16. comeon people.. time to sell this puppy.. NOTE: No puppy supplied with car. will still consider swap for R33 gtst
  17. I lived in the street down from where this chicks car is. I walked past it every night when I went for walks with the missus.. I always said to my missus that "I don't know why she leaves it outside" I know it's not turbo but still... it is straight and clean. I lived on murray street for 2 years (if you go down towards that nursing home down the bottom of the hill where she lives). My S14 got stolen from my parking spot which is under the building and can't be seen from the road. I no lnger live there.. o in Sydney for that matter.. Sorry to hear of her loss... hope it was insured. mine wasn't... I'm still struggling.. Good luck getting any help from Lane Cove police.. apart from the report they make for you when they eventually turn up.
  18. might be a silly post but just want to make sure.. Turbo's make a hissing noise when they build boost. you know that right?
  19. my similar problem and fix.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=118437&hl=

  21. Where the hell is it? I searched and came across a very good thread on where it is on the cefiro and it does not seem to be the same on the skyline. so does anyone know exatcly where the chime is located on the skyline? cheers
  22. that compressor wheel doesn't look like a plastic one to me...
  23. Did I misread or did you say you gapped it down to 0.08mm?? normal gaps are 1.1mm and most people reduce the gap down to 0.8.. not 0.08 you may have mis typed it but I'm sure you 0.08mm more than 2 times. please confirm. gap should be 0.8mm NOT 0.08mm
