that is the 2nd thread I've seen that posted in by nissanr33gtst.. what's the go.. you sell them or something? and why would you recommend a bov adapter kit but no new bov? I don't f*king get it.. edit.. bahahahahaha,..... I just read the link.. how the fluc can an adapter damage a bov or an engine? $100 some things just rub me up the wrong way..... edit again... just realised your the same guy that just joined Fast Fours forum... giving the same EMS, and bov adapter advice there. top work.. you'll go far.

What was the special edition R31 skyline that came out here which was generally RED with some body kit. had AVS wheels standard and a more powerful RB30 with better flowing head or something. I think they were also released in White. was it SVD or Silhouette or whatever... these ones.. anyway, what do they fetch these days? was there any differences in Diff and Brakes over other models? what was power and torque figures?

I think the area is also called North Lakes (which I believe is the new name).. Yeh I'll get around to meeting up once unpacked and so on.

yes - doesn't fit directly on to an RB20 yes - would cost more to fit than it's worth. but my question is this. why is it that an SR20 in an S15 can pull 220rwkw with stock turbo by changing almost everything else like cams, cam gears, ecu, and all supporting mods to run this turbo at about 17-18 psi boost, but same can't be done using this turbo on an RB20? do any of you peeps know the specs of an S15 turbo? If I recal it is supposed to be a 320hp turbo (or was it 280)... anyway, let say for example, you bought this turbo and it came already bolted to an aftermarket RB manifold with all required lines for oil and water and dump pipe to fit directly on to your rb20. what would be required to make the same 220rwkw out of it? would it make it? would it require more boost in the RB than it does in the SR? I'd guess that the rb's lower compression would need attention. DISCLAMER: this is purely hyperthetical. no need to come on here to say things like why would you bother and so forth. I am looking for technical responces to explain if it can be done and what it would require.

was this using completely stock rb20 intercooler pipes?

I'd take that offer..

lately?? always. and it's always stupid questions. just like yours. is it not obvious that the sound will be louder with a pod? it's no longer enclosed in a sealed box with padding to kill sound. they say there are no stupid questions but f*k me.. there are a few execptions to the rule. you don't have to know anything about cars to know that it would be louder. nothing useful to add... I gave you a f*king award didn't I?

$350 for walbro? they are like $200 from an EXPENSIVE source. I had a R32 GTR fuel pump in my silver r32 and it worked fine for over a year that I owned it... it came out of a 110,000km 92 GTR. Walbro I bought I installed in my S14 and then the car was pinched after about 3 months so I can't really say any good or bad points about that one. if you can get a gtr one for $100, then go ahead. I might have to go visit this mercury place when I move up there. let me know what they charge you for the turbo install.

might as well go for carbon fibre drive shaft while your at it. I'm sure it will help but is it worth the money? rb20's like to drive around at about 3000rpm.. driving in traffic at 60km in third gear plonks you right on about 3000rpm. need to over take, squeeze right toes and it will get right in it's chunky zone.. if the rb20 has one that is.

Gary. I'm interested to know what sort of intake temps were had using the r34 cooler on a rb20 making 200rwkw all day, every day. to me that says it worked well at 200rwkw being used on a circuit where you are on boost and using those 200rwkw frequently. I assume this was on your r32 back when it had the rb20 in it, and I recal you had a fair few temp readings for it like before turbo, after turbo and after intercooler..

what a waste of money and time..

flashed lights at a silver R32 gtr yesterday afternoon near my parents house.. plates were AWD-15T (I think). he waved and I waved back. Pull over at my parents place like 50 meters ahead of when we waved. next thing I know he's done a U turn and stopped next to me, looks at me then drives a little further past and does a U turn. as he drives away he goes all read faced and goes sorry I thought you were someone else.. hahahaha He thought I flashed and waved cause I knew him but it was only to say HI to a skyline owner.. LOL.

300 x 600 x 75 is the common size that most intercoolers are these days. on an R32 gtst, YES, there is cutting required. a just jap kit which has a 300 x 600 x 75 intercooler and all piping required will set you back about $500 you will need to do some cutting of the front bar and possibly the metal support behind to fit it. you can buy kits that don't require cutting, but they are much more expensive.. even second hand. BLITZ and ARC are 2 companies that I know of that make kits for R32 gtst which uses the stock intercooler pipes in the engien bay and new pipes from where the current stock cooler is to the new cooler which fits without cutting. good luck.

post a photo of wifes face when she sees what you did to her car. hahahahahaha

no.. she has said she will rent at a max of $240 pw. I said that there are other appartments in the same complex that are renting out at $250pw and are not even renovated. the reason for the $240pw offer is that it helps the person buying it in 2 ways. 1.) no need for an agency for 6 months who will take up to 7% of your rental income. 2.) no need to advertise for tenant through agent and wait a for a few weeks without tenant. it also helps her cause she doesn't have to move to another place for 6 months. I'd say that getting $240pw from date of settlement is better than wasting 2 weeks tryign to find someone at $250 and then paying agent fees also.
