    For B-man

had late lunch at Norton st on sunday. LIZ - where was this at?
  4. oh neither mate. RBfire recently asked about getting the stock dump off and I suggested he be careful not to snap any studs/bolts. and I assume he didn't since he posted above saying he is happy with his new BATMBL dump/front pipe.
  5. you know what.. if I jump real high and reach as high as I can, I might be able to slap your forehead for doing whatever it is to cause 7 knee surgeries.. hahahaha
  6. so no snapped bolts then hey? good stuff
  7. it's been asked. not worth the money or gains. factory plenum is good for 450hp.
  8. I'm with tangles. my cooler pipe poped out and the car stalled once the revs came down. would not start and stay running till I found which one and put it back on. this man says it idles and drives fine but no boost.
  9. check the rb30 thread. SKY30 is selling his head. It made something over 300rwkw on his car.
  10. 130 kg.. YOU fat bastard hahahaha just kidding mate..
  11. what a fat barstard..
  12. what is the weight as printed on your rego slip?
  13. well I guess we're different.. I bought my car cause I liked it. I like how it drives, I like how it stops, I like how it turns, I like how it looks. I like what it costs. I don't want heads to turn or to stand out. they are not on my list of must have's when looking for the next car. hell I was ready to buy a series 1 R33 gtst, because it had that 2.5 head and gearbox I wanted for my project and didn't care that you'd break the horn in a week if you beeped at every other R33 owner you see.. why are the streets flooded with jap cars? because they bring to the market what no other aussie supplied cars can. and the price is cheap. service is normal (usually). parts are cheap (normally) - thank you mummy purchased it for me P platers 3 months down the track... cars are not an investment opportunity that brings back profit. it is a hobby for enthusiasts. if you think that this project you have come up with... (mustang, new paint, interior, engine... etc) is going to "MAKE" you money when you sell it, you are very VERY wrong. unless of course you steal all the bits.. and if you are, can you keep an eye out for my S14.... maybe it's still in one piece .... yeh right..
  14. 1.) you start a new thread about it. 2.) it is exactly 17.237 vulcu inchlets.
  15. there is an almost identical thread which is like 13 threads down. an R33 will have misfire problems at 5000rpm at about 9-10 psi. once that is sorted, about 12 psi will have other problems that cut the power.
  16. you can respond if you like mate. I was merely stating that "I" think that anyone who has a car for "instant cred" as you put it is a insecure little person that needs approval from others.
  17. so in my example, the car with 8.3:1 would need 8 psi extra boost to make the same power as the car with 9.1:1? shit...
  18. spray wd40 (and plenty of it) all over the nuts/bolts on the dump pipe that is currently on your car (when cold obviously). let it soak in for 20 minutes, spray more, then try taking them off. Pray you don't break any.
  19. it all sounded good until I saw this line.. just makes me think that you are one of those... what was it.. "Snotty nosed 16 year olds"? My opinion only..
  20. oh ok.. so your device set to say 1 allows for.. ummmm... warming of rear tyres.. cool
  21. come on man.. get that RB30 bottom end on there.. do it do it do it.!!!!
  22. 1.) there is no "SAFE" boost limit. turbo's can break at factory 10 psi or it might not break at 16 psi.. you run it, you risk it. 2.) having an intercooler will not save your turbo from damage. intercoolers are there for your CHARGE air (the air going in to your motor) and doesn't cool the exhaust gasses which is the heat that breaks turbo exhaust wheels. 3.) when you say boost comes on at 3500rpm.. you mean you have full boost (12 psi) at that rpm or starts to come on positive boost at that rpm. if you want to put the boost up, go right ahead.. stock turbo's cost piss all and an upgrade to an RB25 turbo is not much more. if you can't afford to have your car off the road (like me) don't risk it.
  23. not to mention comparing autometer to Blitz is like comparing apples and medium-well eye fillet steak with mushroom sauce with cracked pepper served with golden roast potatoes followed by sticky date pudding for desert.. I'm gonna go eat breakfast.
