put the stock bov back on. having no bov is similar to having an atmo bov. you still run rich a little and it wants to stall.

Sydney Kid has said many times that the standard RB20det plenum and runners are good for about 450 engine HP. he has also said MANY times that the standard equipment DOES disribute the air MORE evenly to each cylinder in comparison to many Aftermarket items. when you use the RB25de head, us the bottom half of the RB25de runners and use the RB20det upper runners and plenum. sell it as parts. build RB30det then your 210rwkw and 729NM will be what you get before boost comes in.. well maybe not that much but you get the idea

CC - My VR4 blew a head gasket the day I sold it before the owner took it out of sydney. I payed for half the cost. drove it to my mechanic off boost with full radiator (it was down the road). cost was $900. that included sending the head away to get crack tested (luckily it was fine) He has done Many SR20 head gaskets and even more rebuilds. if you want his details let me know. He is a greek guy I have known for close to 10 years, he has a workshop in Bankstown. Basically if you were to tell him that you suspect a blown headgasket due to reasons X Y and Z, and that you have noticed someone before you had used Chemiweld, he will be able to tell you roughly what the cost will be and what would need replacing. what he can't quote is the cost of head work if you have cracked/warped the head due to overheating or anything. but I can't see anyone giving you those quotes.. perhaps a rough estimate asa worse case scenario... I'm sure like most people, you will see the words mechanic and bankstown and assume the worst... But he really is a decent bloke. it's a family business and his wife is the lady in the office. let me know if you want some details. you could at least use him as a rough over the phone quote as a base to work off. I feel so sick in the stomach after reading all the previous problems you've had with this car. EDIT - if you decide to go down the "just get another engine from wreckers" route, he will also be cheaper to use to take the old one out but the new one in and put all your goodies on it for ya

what difference does it make. this guy is selling a manual series II r33 for $16K... even without the cooler and wheels it's a bargain. intercooler kits cost $600 these days. wheels can be had under $1K as well.

I don't personally like rear wings at all. an R32 GTS without a wing looks great. R32 GTR with stock wing is great too. R33 GTST series 1 or 2 with the flat little boot tail you can buy looks great. R34's... don't pay too much attention to them I do have to say, with a FMIC, the R32 and R33 GTST's are crap with the stock bar. GTR item looks the best on both models when you fit a FMIC. unless there is an aftermarket bar for those cars that are similar to a factory GTR one, I'd go for a GTR front bar. I hate it when GTST's cut up the front bar to fit a cooler and it has this massive gap and the whole front just looks wrong. Badging... who cares. apart from the GT badges on each side, I don't like any of them.

what suspension mods you got? how come no-one talks/asks about what suspension mods are required for drag racing? LOL at 300rwkw and 225's...

well on an R34 gtr with stock turbo's, PFC, cat back and that sort of boost, I think it was in speed where it was shown to make 290rwkw or something. so expecting 260rwkw on an R32 might be ok. in another thread someone mentioned their R34 GTR with stock turbo's was making 0.9Bar at 3000rpm. WRXHOON I think it was.

Look don't take offence... but.. why are you starting a new team/club? what's wrong with SAU NSW as a club? and if there is something wrong with it, why are you asking for people from SAU NSW to join your club? I just can't get my old man's brain around the need to have your own team/gang/club. SAU is already here. it has MANY companies as sponsors, it hold MANY shows/events/meets/dinners/cruises.... etc., I guess one reason might be that you don't get along with the people in SAU NSW but then you ask for people from SAU NSW to join. please enlighten me.

YES. It is a DIRECT BOLT ON REPLACEMENT. one thing you need to get with the rb25 turbo is the first part of the intercooler piping.. it is an ELBOW from the turbo to the intercooler pipe. the RB20 one is slightly smaller and will need redrilling for the bolts if you want to use it. also when you put the rb25 turbo on, use the wastegate actuator from the RB20 turbo. that way you get 10 psi from the new turbo as standard rather than 6-7 psi with the rb25 atuator.

try searching again. this time search for the word flutter. you want that "4 noises in succesion", then block of your stock bov. or if you have an aftermarket one, tighten it right up.

can't answer the question from experience. my experience was a little different. so lady dobbed me in to the police cause I gave her the finger. I was waiting to cross burwood rd with my car. after edging forward to see around the bus, got a gap and moved, she stepped off the curb with her kid, not looking to the left where I was comming from even though the street she was crossing was a one way in the direction I was heading. I beep as I keep going as I swerve left as it was too late to stop, she swears, I give her finger. 2 days later, cops arrive at my house asking for me. basically had to go to the police station when that officer was there (happened to be starting at 10pm for f*ks sake) and make a statement. he told me that Every single complain made to the police MUST be followed up. so they will definitely come see you if you have been dobbed in.
