  2. wait wait wait.. You used rb20det 270cc injectors, in an RB30det conversion with a regulator and made 240rwkw on only 70% duty cycle? I find that REAAAAALLLYYYY hard to believe. how much extra rail pressure were you/are you using? I'm not calling you a liar, I am just wondering if maybe you are mistaken and that they are NOT rb20 injectors.. or perhaps they were hi flowed in japan..
  3. stock gause is in Hgmm... it is neither psi or BAR. as a general guide, the +7 is about 1 bar. stock RB20det in good condition runs a standard of 10psi boost. 1 bar = 14.7 psi therefore 10 psi = about 0.68bar so in an auto, and on a possibly 15 year old car, and 15 year old turbo with 15 year old wastegate spring, getting 0.5 bar (which is 7.35psi) boost is not so bad. you haven't said what mods you have so I am assuming stock. if you get a better air filter, and a full exhaust, this will bump up the boost to about 10psi I guess. OR.... Maybe the Auto's run less boost.. Not sure..

  10. It's such a shame when new users don't read the rules.
  11. don't try to sell the motor until you've got all the bits you need from it. -Top half of plenum -air box -intake pipe -injectors -knock sensors -spark plugs -coil packs -sump -oil pump -harmonic balancer -cam covers and coil pack cover (as mentioned for the stock look) -afm -turbo -exhaust manifold -intercooler pipework -radiator fan put all of those to the RB25de head and RB30E bottom end. Use the stock ECU, clamp wastegate open, and run the car in like this. all of this in parts will cost you $100 - rb30 $750 - rb25de head $?? - new idler pulley $?? - new timing belt $?? - refresh bottom end all of this will get the car running and allow you to run the engine in properly while you save some money for other goodies like -500hp turbo -Power FC -Z32 or Q45 afm -GTR injectors and ignitor one of the guys did the exact thing I said above and I think he was making 130rwkw with the wastegate flap held open (still made 6psi) during run in time but he said the torque was unbelievable. What I have written above is pretty much my plan. it's just that mine will go in a r32 sedan and it will be done so in 2006. what's left of your RB20 can then be sold to the guys in the "rb20 with over 260kw" thread as I'm sure they will need a few spares.. *cough* ROY *cough* hahahahaha by the way I'm still waiting for that call to come clean out your garage Roy...

  13. not vr4 that's for sure. and it's ain't a GTR one.. Looks like a truck cooler of some sort. no cars come with those as standard. acutally, I can't think of ANY car apart from a GTR, EVO's, and JAP vr4's that comes with a FMIC with end tanks on either side.. and that cooler is from none of them. What makes me think it's a truck cooler is the fact that the inlet and outlet are facing in towards the rest of the engine.. most that I've seen on trucks are like that.

  17. where did you add the pictures? I can't see any.. and when you say I assume you either mean GTR or just the colour code of the gtr so red with white wheels or something. I'm just a little consufed as to what makes this r32 gtst with some nice mods worth over $30K or was that a typo.
  18. in what way? is it hi-flowed? by who? what are it's specs? AR? exhaust wheel size? ceramic or steel wheel? what horsepower rating?
  19. wait I don't get it. You're selling a turbo which is smaller than a stock vr4 turbo attached to a stock VR4/evo 1-3 manifold for $1K? is that right?
  20. why don't you just tell everyone that it is NA to stop them asking over and over. and you should change the original post where you say because this car is not turbo and therefore doesn't have a DUMP pipe, so I can only assume that you are refering to a set of extractors.
  21. the guys are having a go about a previous thread.. don't worry. remember this as a rule. multiply the first 2 number in the injectors rating by 2. so in this case 500cc injectors = 100hp each at 100% duty cycle. As stated above. muliply that by the number of injectors your car uses and you're done. then aim for 80% as a safe maximum. This is exactly what NXTIME told you but he didn't give you the calulation. hope that helps.
