  1. I actually have to GET TO burwood road. I come on to Parra rd at (can't remember the name of the street) Where Croydon Autosport Used to be.. take the first left, then right, then left, then right..etc until I hit the back of Westfields.. go down to burwood rd and turn right at lights right in front of westfields, through the lane ways to get to my building.. Parra rd is a joke in both directions at about 8:45 am..
  2. good on ya.. !! stop cutting in front of me in a Bright yellow R34 and I might not notice.. hahahahaha
  3. hahahaha.. nice work frank.. Hey.. are your plates "YDJ.xxx" or something along those lines? I could have sworn I saw you pulling in to a drive way in burwood somewhere last week on my way to work in the morning.. I have to take the back streets to get away from traffic..
  4. QUOTE FROM ORIGINAL POST.... "need free registration for download the videos"
  5. how about adding to the "What we can learn" list.. should have bought a $90 K&N panel filter to replace factory filter and have NO problems and better gain than what you have now.
  6. $9500 neg. Rego till October 60,000kms Auto Air con Dark metalic Blue Log books. In Sydney. Parents car. Had it since new. Decided time for a change.
  7. deleted - READ THE EFFING RULES!!!! I GET SO SICK OF SAYING THAT! - PranK
  8. why not buy a Bran dnew HYBRID kit including pipes, clamps, hoses, scerws, bolts, everything for about $1200? Or just a HYBRID brand cooler for $550? www.theintercoolerguy.com
  9. I'll pay $170 delivered to Sydney.
  10. I just wanted to push this to the top to show you guys the original Gibson design..
  11. expect about 150rwkw
  12. to give you an idea.. RB20det (silver top - R32 gtst) 3 inch exhaust 12psi panel filter in standard box R33 gtst turbo gave me 152rwkw. One other thing.. the rb20det runs 10psi standard so you're bleed valve isn't doing much. so with the standard turbo and 11psi with pod and exhaust, you would get something like 145-150 REAR wheel kw. and even less at all four wheels. go for 1 bar boost, fmic, re-mapped computer and you should be in the 160-170rwkw..
  13. man if I had $1 for everytime this "cut at 4000-5000rpm" question I answered, I'd be rich.. with your new induction and free flowing exhaust, you are getting a higher boost. therefore, you get a miss. fix = take out your spark plugs, re-gap them to 0.8mm and put them back in and go for a thrash.. you'll see redline without a hitch.
  14. yep sold. still have the BBS wheels for sale if you want.. $700
  15. No I don't.. sorry mate.. Just try the site tomorrow or something..
  16. NOTE: You WILL need to modify your oil lines (or get a new one made from some place like PIRTEK or EN-ZED) to make it fit your RB20/25 engines. everything else bolts up (minus the intercooler connection elbow pipe).
  17. so you are saying that FROM the turbo TO the drivers side of the cooler right? does the pipe go over the radiator fan still? or are you going from under the cooler?
  18. red17. once it gets under the car, you will require MORE pipes and tighter bends to get to the other side of the cooler on the drivers side. There are kits that have one outlet on the drivers side of the intercooler come out on the bottom on a sharp angle and have a pipe running along the bottom of the cooler but I'm not sure if it has good flow characteristics at that EXIT point on the drivers side.
  19. one other thing.. if you put a T4 comp wheel and not change the exhaust wheel, isn;t this going to cause MASSIVE compressor surge?
  20. Guys.. Do a search for the Gibson Motor sport R31 race car. that is very similar design from the throttle body to the cooler. Actually, the Gibson motor sport bend was even tighther than that and they made some ridiculous power from the RB20 back then.. BOOSTMEISTER from these forums had a similar set up. I believe that SydneyKID uses this type of setup on the RB20/RB25 motor intercooler pipes.. If I ever get another skyline, that is how I will go about it.. It probably saves about 1 meter of pipe work (maybe a little less) AND, your pipes no longer go over the radiator fan and turbo before it goes in to your engine. BTW, the Titanium look is brilliant.. best looking pipes I have seen.
  21. Good luck.. I tried this for about 3 months.. ended up giving them all away and mine was from an RB20DET
  22. FYI... http://www.theintercoolerguy.com same cooler + boost controller + shipping to anywhere in AUS = $550
  23. in reference to what SydneyKid has said.. You can make a simple device to help you out.. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html Piss easy to build and really handy for leaks.. on another note.. could it be the Oxygen sensor on your dump pipe that is dead and causing your car to over fuel?
  24. The Supra's are SEQUENTIAL. it has 2 x CT12B turbo's. Unlike the Liberty B4 which has one bigger than the other. there is some sort of valve that allows boost to go to the second turbo as the revs go up and at say 3000rpm (eg as I don't know the exact rev point), the valve is completely and both turbo's are boosting away... I'd love one..
  25. are the diff and gearbox ratios identical from R32 - R34 gtrs? If not, could this be the cause of the higher rwkw figures on teh R34's? I'm not doubting the cars ability, just want to know how.. Just like the bug eyed WRX is supposed to have 160kw at the engine and when people dyno a my99 (older shape) which also has 160kw at the engine, the bug eyed rex produces higher ATW numbers than the my99. And it is mainly due to the fact that the gearbox/diff ratio's are different to the older shape.. Can anyone confirm if this is true in the GTR series?
