  1. So you saw them tip the paint on the road in front of you? and you didn't follow them or call the cops immediately? or get their license plate number?
  2. if you still need one, I 've got one for you. $30 stock R33 bov.. I'm in sydney also. On a side note, just so you know, the skyline bovs are exactly the same from R32 - R34 in the GTST/GTT series..
  3. Could have sworn that I had posted on here already.. anyway.. Located in Sydney Silver, 92, manual, 100,000kms (already done the service for it) Complete new suspension bushes. Rego till late August 2004 r33 turbo turbo back 3 inch exhaust 2 core radiator ARC intercooler TRUST panel filter GTR fuel pump R33 wheels turbo XS boost controller polished rocker cover. 153rwkw on 12psi. By spending $250 on a ECU from TOSHI on these forums and bumping the boost to about 14psi, you will get around 170rwkw. going to trading post this week for $16500. Looks stock. Really don't need to spend anything else on the car at the moment.. When I did the 100,000km service (at 93,000kms) I spent $1850. I can list the things changed if you like. Pics can be seen at.. http://www.pbase.com/the_r32/inbox Cheers. TT
  4. on full boost, what does the standard dash boost guage go to? then you can work out wether it is standard or not. also, it would have been easier to connect your guiage to the existing guage line as FOOEY stated..
  5. what mods? anyway.. things to check. Air flow meter.. if it's dirty, it will cause surging type problems.. clean it with electrical contact cleaner or carby cleaner. Dirty air filter. replace if standard and dirty, or wash if an aftermarket one. Fuel things.. injectors, pump, filter. definitely replace the fuel filter as it opnly costs like $20. as for pump and injectors.. bit more expensive to replace or clean...
  6. Jay's right. it's an emergency fan. as in only comes on when there is a problem and is over heating. I actually just connected it up so that it comes on when the air-con is on. The clutch fan on the motor side is there for the cooling.. (I hate the clutch fan.... next time the clutch thing dies, I'm going twin thermo fans...)
  7. 2.8L is for the RB20 gearbox. that's what my one took
  8. S15 Front Castor Kit. - KCA331 - $110 Front Camber Bolt Kit. - KCA414 - $70 Rear Camber kit. - KCA347 - $120 All the above can be found at... http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/fact_shee...issan_s14-5.PDF S14 GFB - Pulley http://www.gfb.com.au/pulley.htm scroll down to No:2005 $200 All new. All negotiable. All in sydney.
  9. the mod that ed displayed is great. boost comes on a little stronger and it doesn't constantly release at cruising speeds. the sounds changes slightly when you take your foot off the pedal fast like between gearchanges. instead of a shhhhhhh sound, it is more like a ka-tshhhh.. I did it a while ago and never had issues. oh that air box pad is also in the R32's if anyone wanted to know.
  10. PVC pipes from any plumber store is also cheap. AND they also have pre fabricated bends like 45 and 90 degree bends. All you need to do is slot them together like lego. if you're really fussy, you can also get that BLUE glue they use for those pipes. paint the thing black and you're done. Once all slotted together, the inside is compeltely smooth. I've got a short length of pipe and a few bends if anyone is interested and is in Sydney.. Yang.. you want them?
  11. cul202.. you've got 1 thing confused.. The Series II R33 and R34 turbo's have a plastic (it's a form of plastic) Compressor wheel (on the front of the turbo) and all skylines from R31 - R34 have CERAMIC Exhaust wheels (back of turbo) the difference between the series I and II is that the series I had a steel compressor wheel. I've had a series I on my R32 for over 6 months running 13 psi with no problems. I will be running 14-15 psi when I get my ecu chipped. hope that clears a few things up for you.
  12. I tried all combos... in the end (which is now) I have my standard R32 gsts air box with a TRUST panel filter in it. I have noticed no drop in top end (which is what people reckon the problem with the standard air box and standard filter is) and the car is a lot more responsive due to the fact that the air it gets is cool air rather than engine air. If my intercooler wasn't in the standard location, I would have mounted the air box down there. that way, you get cold air coming in always and there is no engine bay heat to heat up the box.. and believe me, it heats it up. I've done a few tests with temp probe and digital display that I have...
  13. cobo_11. the ignitor is sold. it went to Perth. sorry bud. coils are still available..

Acceleration Timer Automatic measuring system allows you to track acceleration speed by setting desired distance and get readings for time and max speed over that distance.
  17. the deposit is refundable anyway.. I don't see the damn problem. this is NOT a backyard job. this guy has 2 actual physical OUTLETS and they also supply many other stores with products. it is a legitimate business. not a "I've got a few things in my shed to sell" sort of deal. so hurry up people. I want my damn dials.

  21. if you want the car as a drift weapon, get the Silvia. reasons.. cheaper lighter 4 cyliners means less on maintenance and upgrade costs. eg - 4 spark plugs, 4 pistons SR20DET has more after market support compared to an RB20DET. panels are cheaper for silvia's too. you said for drifting and the Silvia is a better car to drift then the skyline. But if you are also considering this car as your everyday car, then skyline wins hands down. S13 silvia is ugly to me (the 180sx is ok but the silvia is ugly) The R32 skyline shape is the best/most agressive skyline to be built. The interior is no competition.. just take a look at the 2. the skyline is just a more solid build compared to the silvia. stock v stock and same mods on both cars, the silvia will always be quicker. but I don't think that it is by enough for me to consider a downgrade. Brakes... there is no comparison there either.. skyline gets 4 pots on the front and 2 on the rear.. silvias get 2 front and 1 rear. with pissy little discs. ... pure drift car = silvia drift/daily use = skyline. that's my 2 cents.

  25. My friend has a genuine DR30. all the mods he has done so far have had to be custom made. exhaust, intercooler, oil cooler, fuel rail...... From a business point of view, I doubt that you would make much money off those parts. They are pretty rare.
