  1. Dude. I'm in sydney and will pay $100 for the GTR fuel pump this saturday if you like. If I have your word that it is in working order, I will get it off you. I have sent you an email on the address you provided.. Please get back to me.. thanks.
  2. cool. bump for you
  3. fair enough. but the 0.4bar boost in standard is normal for the R33 turbo so don't worry. I have to say though.. when I replaced my RB20 turbo with the RB25 turbo, it still felt better on 7psi than my rb20 one did with 10psi.. take care.
  4. Brody. I am willing to swap + cash for your Fuel pump and ECU. as in, I give you my ones (which are standard) + some cash to get your bosch and rechiped ecu. let me know if you are interested. cheers.
  5. DrFT_aLLDWay.. would you consider swapping the wheels for 16's plus cash? The 16's are standard R33 wheels. if not that's cool. let me know. cheers.
  6. same thing happened to me. my $100 bleed valve fixed that problem. 13psi now.
  7. I'm pretty sure that the difference in 50hp is from the compressor and exhaust wheel specs between the 2 turbo's. The measurements I am not sure of.
  8. Mr RB20.... what happened man? you sold the R32 because of other commitments and now got an R33?
  9. cool. keep in touch. as for the rest of you... **Shakes fist** don't out bid me...
  10. I'll offer $200 for the pump. That's all I am willing to pay at this stage.
  11. nope. so far.... Been running 13psi for the past 6 months. standard fuel pump and injectors. no pinging or anything.. All good. NOTE: My one is from a series 1 R33.
  12. Mase.. I had the same issue. I drilled out the holes of the elbow pipe from the R32 turbo all the way to the edges. It now fits.
  13. I mean you can't go back because the REDLINE synthetic oil leaves a coat of film (like a coat of oil) in the gearbox and I've been told that you can't mix organic oil back in to it or you'll get CLUMPS of crap in the gear box oil. Redline oil costs $25 a litre. The R32 GTST gearbox takes 2.8L I bought the large 4 litre thing for $100 and have about a litre left. When you consider that you probably spend at least $50 every 5000kms and never change your gearbox oil until you feel a problem, it's a wise investment.
  14. jebus.. didn't realise that it was an old thread.. oh well.
  15. for $135 you can get the Turbo XS High Performance Boost Controller (HPBC) it has 2 adjustments. 1 = increase boost 2 = reduce or eliminate wastegate creep. the second adjustment is what makes the boost come on earlier and harder. R33's standard boost is 7psi. R32 is more like 9 or 10psi standard. as mentioned, if you put a boost controller on, you need to use that INSTEAD of the standard boost solenoid...
  16. Steve has the problem spot on. Redline GTR has the resolution spot on..
  17. that causes more problems than you would think.. it affects alot more than just the speed limiter...
  18. don't waste your time with the fluttering.. as mentioned before... it just put's stress on your turbo on gear changes... if you are willing to change your turbo earlier than expected just for a cool sound and worse performance, then go right ahead and block it all off and enjoy that cool sound.
  19. [ryan] you will see a nice DR30 this saturday at the BBQ if you come..
  20. ok... They can be done but there is currently no-one in AUS doing it. and the other thing is that it's not as simple as the R32 ones. The R32 EPROM can be programmed and soldered on to the ECU. then when you do mods, the same chip (which costs about $20 to purchase as a plain chip) can be RE-programmed. The R33 ecu will require a different chip which costs about $90 to purchase as a plain chip, then programmed and soldered to the ecu.. that's all good until you do another mod because those chips are not RE-programmable.. you have to take it off, get a new chip, program that and solder it in. So an R32 one costs you about $100 to get it chipped and then maybe $50 to get re-tuned as many times as you want, but the R33's you have to throw out.. I know of one guy who is currently working on doing these.. but it is still in DEVELOPMENT.. and will be more expensive than the R32 ones.. All you can do at the moment for the R33 is an S-AFC for fuel and some sort of speed cut device like a PIVOT speed meter.. Or power FC I guess..
  21. It was just the thing my gearbox needed. I was already using a PENZOIL synthetic gearbox oil but changing from 1st to second fast would still cause a slight crunch. with this oil it works great. Just remember one thing though.. Once you put Synthetic oil in your gearbox, You CANNOT go back to an organic oil. FLY-SKY.. Maybe what that means is that it is not suitable for use IN the rear DIFF and to use it only for gearbox.
  22. I had a K&N pod and replaced it with a TRUST panel. I can still hear the sucking and bov sounds just as much and because it gets colder air, the car is much better to drive and more responsive then with the pod.
  23. and the other.. Located in sydney
  24. R32 RB20DET Rocker covers and the coil pack cover sprayed/polished. offers over $80 see pics..
