  3. MIST - Do you still have the standard R32 GTST fuel pump? Do you have any aftermarket fueling bits like injectors or regulator? Are the mods you listed above your only mods? SIKCAR - It's not a matter of installing chips that is the hard part, it's the programming of the fuel and ignition maps. You need to have extensive knowledge of how much fuel and air should be programmed to be pushed through at what loads and so on... AND, you also need to purchase the CHIP burning hardware and know how to work with ROM editors to make the changes to the fuel maps to make it safer and some how BETTER than standard.. Good luck.
  4. I feel sorry for any skyline that has neons on it... It's your car to do what you want with it, but it just ruins the SPORTY purpose of a skyline.. Basically turns it in to something that belongs in HOT 4's..
  5. just a question back on the topic... are you sure it's a clutch problem? the clutch pedal sticking to the floor sounds like a clutch cylinder problem. Like there it is sucking in air... it's a lot cheaper than a new clutch dude. get a mechanic to check it out.. A new clutch master cylinder and a slave cylinder seal kit for my R32 GTST cost less than $200 supplied and fitted...
  6. it will be spark related. but because you said it is only sometimes, I will go with the coil packs. My one started off that way, it would come and go... at first it was just an occasional hicup, then it would miss for longer, then eventually that particular coilpack completely died. this makes it easier to find.. bought a second hand one fo $40 problem solved.. the most annoying thing about it being an intermitent thing is that it makes it hard to find which coil pack it is..
  7. I'd recommend a N/A front wheel drive car.. out of the lancer, celica and N14 SSS, I would take the SSS. Apart fomr insurance on the turbo models, the fact that you don't have that much driving experience means that RWD cars are still dangerous when driven hard for you and anyone near you.. SSS is a good car. in the future you can get rid of it and get something else, or do the SR20DET engine conversion to it
  8. dude.. there is something seriously wrong there.. why is the whole graph all up and down all over the place? AND, up until this 100km, the PRE ecu reset is producing more power all the way through the revs...
  9. Dude.. You are the HICAS KING.. hahaha Nice work..
  10. That foam stuff from UAS is useless unless you are moving. when you stop it heats RIGHT up... I put the standard air box which has it's own CAI and a trust panel filter.
  11. GraemeWi... that's fair enough... but what was the graph like BEFORE the ECU reset? you have the initial run after reset and the next couple but what was the graph like before the reset? was there a difference on the dyno with the before reset and after reset?
  12. I will vouch for his trustworthyness... He payed the amount required, I sent the part required.. Hopefully you have got it by now.. Good luck on your sale...
  13. ???? Not sure on who else sells it.. it'll be the same price though...
  14. SPEC R... Can you please send a few pic of the air box to me or post it on here.. email is [email protected] Thanks.
  15. I just did the gearbox oil on my R32. I bought REDLINE lightweight Shockproof. It's excellent.. I can't recommend it enough. my second gear use to crunch but now it doesn't do it at all. anyway, that stuff sells for $25 per litre. I just bought the 3.78L bottle, $100. The R32 GTST gear box takes 2.8L for those who are interested. I know $100 sounds expensive at first, but when you consider that you change your oil every 5000kms and if you are using like MOBIL 1 synthetic, it costs you at least $50 each time. how often do you change the gearbox oil? It's a very good investment... I found my one from Croydon Racing Development (or whatever they are called now...in silverwater, sydney)
  16. thanks anyway..
  17. Is it safe - yes it is does it work - I didn't notice any difference..
  18. it might be easier to post a new thread asking other GTS4 owners to quote the number on their cars so that you can get that number looked up from the dealer where they did yours.. maybe it's the same on theirs and the dealer has just got wrong details on their database... wouldn't be the first time..
  19. How much for the S15 ARC air box?
  20. Few more bits sold. Update on what is sold and what is left on the original post....
  21. I will send you an email to find out more info from you..
  22. No thanks.. I am looking at getting another similar for $200 but I have to wait a while for it, so I thought that I could get this one now for the same price.. All I can offer is $200 for the ECU, NO EXCHANGE
  23. Toshi. If you can do this computer for $200 I will take it from you.
  24. 2 hoses gone but others I have.. the 2 gone are the ones in the pic below.. sorry about the crap on the pic.. I was using it for something else.. the ones I have pointed to in BLUE are gone..
