  1. sorry.. my page didn't update.. it is the 7th item on thepage.. but it turns out that it says for the R32 and 180sx..
  2. CLICK HERE The second item on the page... That's the proper way to do it..
  3. First of all, read THIS Some of your questions will be answered by that article.. As for HICAS, it is basically like a 4WS system BUT, it only turns the rear wheels when you are going OVER 80km/h and the wheels only turn a maximum of 1 degree.. you will barely feel it.. it sort of feels like you drift across lanes when switching lanes on the freeway or something.. YES They DO have a speed limiter.. 180 is the limit and to get around this, you can get a computer remap or you can cut one of the wires on the air flow meter (number 53)... do a search on these forums or ask one of the forumers called MEGGALA who will be able to give you heaps of info and his site is excellent... fuel economy is dependant on your foot. I generally get about 350kms or more from a tank.. that is mainly easy driving with occasional traffic light squirts. On the highway, I will get easy 500kms. The article should be able to tell you more goods and bads about the car.. enjoy... and welcome to the skyline world..
  4. I acutally did all the prep work. My mechanic did the coats of paint.. I took a week off work and spent my whole time at the mechanic getting things done and the boot was one of them. My arms were killing me all week from all the sanding.. But it's worth it in the end.., there is no trace of a spoiler ever being on there..
  5. sorry.. try link now.. scroll through the pics to the last couple..
  6. 1 KW = 1.34 HP 1 HP = 0.75 KW
  7. Hey all. I have removed the rear spoiler on my car and wanted to share the pics with you.. For those who are thinking of doing the same thing, I will say this... It's not THAT easy.. once you remove it, you get one whole at each end, and 2 small ones and a big one in the middle.. I welded them up from underneath and boged the top and sanded and sanded till the cows came home.. then went over it with a high fill puddy spray, then sanded. Then undercoat, then sanded, then sprayed in silver a few layers, then clear. A week later, I had it buffed, then I went home and polished it some more.. Not easy but check out the results... You'd never be able to tell that there was ever a spoiler there.. On a side note, I have a perfectly good R32 GTST rear spoiler with brake light for sale for anyone interested.. some pics below.. SKYLINE PICS

  9. Really? I might pay them a visit if I need to after DOCTOR gets back to me..
  10. Doc.. how much for the spare one you have? or how can we organise to make one up?
  11. Thanks but I'd rather not do that if it's possible to do it without taking away the HICAS. I might try to find out how much it would cost to re-leather the standard wheel if it comes down to it.
  12. Hi.. My standard steering wheel (along with probably the majority of R32 GTST owners) is all peeling and crap. So I went out looking for a new steering wheel and found a few I like. Then it came to the boss kit.. What's the deal?? I've been told by all the places I checked that the boss kit for my car is different to the standard ones they have for sale due to the HICAS on my car. So basically instead of paying $70 for a standard boss kit, I've been told that it is going to cost closer to about $180 JUST FOR A BOSS KIT...!!! Can any of you R32 GTST owners out there tell me different? Have you changed your steering wheel? boss kit? where did you go? how much did you get it for? if you know any places in sydney, I'd really appreciate your help. thanks.
  13. email sent to shell Thanks.
  14. Was there EVER a Nissan 300ZX that had a... Ball bearing, Steel wheeled, T3 Turbo? What year was this car made? What power is this turbo capable of supporting? Will it fit my R32 GTST RB20DET?
  15. sweeeeeettt...
  16. I'd also like to know about another time/date that we can join.. I can't make it to the track day due to work...
  17. and another.. **Me goes and hides in the corner**
  18. **Cough Cough** Pretty shitty quality photos but you get the message... White Autometer, Blue light...
  19. Oh.. Please enlighten me.. point me in to the direction of where it says different..
  20. ummm.. the turbo on the RB20DET IS a T3 of some sort. It's internals are more similar to a T28 but the bolt pattern of the turbo is a T3.
  21. 200SX.. 98 model for that price is pretty damn good. Plus, it has all the goods that the R33 has and in my opinion, the 200SX is better.. I like the R33 but they are just everywhere.. I mean EVERYWHERE!!!!
  22. ...ummm.. pod filters are ILLEGAL for street use.. So you might not get fined for the stock bov but you WILL for the pod filter. Unless you paid a couple of hundred buck extra to get an engineers certificate saying that your pod filter meets all the regulations..
  23. so what's happening? still need them?
  24. I use Penzoil synthetic for the engine oil. I don't remember the numbers but it is labelled for high performance cars or for turbo cars or something along those lines. I change the oil filter every second oil change. I changed the gearbox oil a few months back. Once again, Penzoil Lightweight shock proof oil.
  25. for all of you in here that are saying your bovs flutter.. you are mistaken. that is not your bov making the fluttering sound.. It is CAUSING the fluttering sound, but not making it.. If the bov doesn't open at low boost, the air doesn't come out with a normal psshh or squeek in the HKS ones, it goes back through the turbo and goes.. ffftt tt tt tt tt tt And someone mentioned the turbo the WRX rally cars use.. Rally cars do not use Bov's.. That sound is still the sound caused by the air going back through the turbo, but when you add anti lag to it and different intercoolers and turbo blades and so on, it has that weird high pitched fluttering sound. I had the R2D2 on mine and it was runing rich. so I put the standard thing back on. I didn't like how it would have a constant sssssssssssssssss sound on cruise sort of loads so I now have a GFB plumback one which just makes a weird muffled FFTT HHHHHHHH sound on gear changes. I personally like the sound of the HKS SSQ bov but I don't like having a full atmo venting bov.. the car just doesn't feel right.. ROY, I don't think that that white supra from the Best motoring video had a bov did it? it was making a really loud fluttering/skidding sound..
