  5. Castrol Edge 10w60 is what I'm using on my 170,000km RB. when I changed from GW 10w40 to Castrol, it made the engine a fair bit quiter... Mine has a slight lifter noise and it's much better with the Castrol.

  10. Is it Normal? No. Is it normal for me? Yes.. lol Don't be too worried mate. I'd say you probably didn't hold as tight for one rep or perhaps hyperextended a little at the top on a couple of reps. When you get a chance, lay on your back and bring your knees up until your whole back (including lower back) is flat on the floor. lay like that for 5 minutes so it all settles. nights sleep and you'll be fine. This is also the reason I don't like lots of reps. you get tired and sloppy. I've got one more week of 12 reps and then down to 7 weeks of 5 reps, then 2 weeks of 3s, then 1 week of doubles, then it's time to Beat Nick! lol
  11. youtube "rotator cuff rehab" there are plenty of band exercises to help. Google images "rotator cuff muscles" - you'll be able to work out where you feel the pain and know which muscle it most likely is. ICE when you can The bands you can buy from lots of places. Rebel has some near the gym section.. with the Yoga/Pilates shit - they are cheap. Still go and train anything you can... as long as it is pain free.

  14. Don't stress about it. It'll pass. I understand the frustration.. believe me... but injuries get better, and there will be many times that you can ride. no use risking a stack and making it so you can NEVER RIDE AGAIN just because you weren't 100%. joining a gym is NOT a mistake. it will make you stronger and fitter for your riding and general health. small brain fart and not focusing has caused a small issue. ice and rest it. see a physio and get a proper diagnoses and proper rehab advice. You'll be back in no time.

I just wanted the forum to get worked up about something. Turned out excellent.!! If I was to set out all the comps they would be Mens Deads - 1.5xBW Squat - 1.5xBW Bench - BW Chins - BW + 10kg Womens Deads - BW Squat - BW Bench - 0.8xBW Chins - BW All for max number of reps. But it's up to the winner to choose the next that they think we should do. Or if you guys want to use the above for the next 4 challenges, thats all good. I'm happy to post the rules for each

  19. She'll be right mate.. Ice it and voltaren for a week and then ease back in to it. I don't even understand what a decline cable cross over does that bench press or at worst DB flys don't do so not sure why you were doing such things in the first place.
