  1. It's just in their rules. Depth is always "hip crease below top of knee" or some wording to that effect in every federation.. but there are some American Equipped feds where the judging is a real joke. people getting green lights for squats that are like 2 inches above parallel. GPC, CAPO considers knee wraps to be RAW powerlifting. in PA, knee wraps are only used for Equipped lifting. but they allow knee sleeves... which don't really add anything to your lift.. but like with all rules, people bend them... the rule around knee sleeves were changed in IPF (PA) after this.. basically using a sleeve that would be really tight around an elbow, on your knees. They were using a plastic bag to help get it up to the knee. lol

Just do what you can with your current situation. adjust your diet to your activity level. you'll probably drop in weight and size and definitely strength. wether you do reps of 8 or 10 or 20 doesn't matter for you. as long as you continue to do them and continue to improve on either rep or weight or set or rest time etc. perhaps when you are say 60% with your back, you should try a proper old school body builder style cut over 2 months. and then a proper waterload cut for for 1 week. You're not a powerlifter so what you lift means SFA. you're basically crippled so why not do something that doesn't require a working back. do what lifting you can, do cardio that involves lifting, diet like a mofo and see how music festival like you can get.

Troy you should go back and watch your vid. you basically straightened your legs out before the weight started leaving the floor, then you did a stiff legged deadlift in sumo stance to bring it up. Just my opinion man. You know your body better and can decide for yourself.

  21. I use dextrose with my shake after training at night. And it's the first hit of carbs I get for the day.. followed by carb meal, followed by icecream then fruit.. ride that high... till the mad crash which falls in line with when I go to bed.

  24. ok. then don't take it. Reality is that you don't need any of those. Keep in mind that not everyone has the same reaction to everyone else. I bet that if you searched you could find someone somewhere who felt very bloated after taking each of those. My point was, you stopped lifting and stopped the supps and looked and felt better. I highly doubt that lifting is what made you look bloated. Either drop all or one or some.. trial and error. Everybody is different.
