  3. Qld for sale section has a chick selling some 17s. And a guy selling stock r34 gtt wheels and tyres
  4. http://www.ebay.com....=item3a75658f9b guy can drop them off for you he says. you can get used 16" tyres for around $50 fitted.
  5. 5 stud on these? get a set of stock R32/R33 gtst wheels. they are about $50 these days. or at least borrow a set
  6. doesn't attessa require even rotational diameter? otherwise it does all kinds of weird shit
  7. Your dad sounds old skool cool. everyone else sounds like a bunch of "everyones a winner for participating" faggots. I always wish someone had told me that I was wasting my time with shit I found in articles or mens health mags when I was in my early 20s. but now with everything being available so easily and a good trend of people going back to basics (and your post up there is not a basic or simple program), I just don't understand why some people insist on wasting time over and over again.
  8. so how effective was it in the past? going by that ,what do you expect in 9 weeks time?
  9. the top GTS model is $35K plus on roads etc
  10. shirley the subbie version could get an STI model
  11. Newer version of a BEAMS 3SGE would have been cool.
  12. WARNING - CSH about to begin. There is a guy on another forum. He has an R31 GTSX. He has millions of spares including 2 x GTSR manifolds. Anyway.. he had this issue with a missfire. he replaced the coils, spark plugs, vacuum lines, fuel pump, injector seals, filters etc etc. spent months Then went to try a different ECU. The ECU he tried didn't work Plugged his old ECU back in. On the drive home, car worked like it was from the showroom. Basically, he had dust or some sort of crap in either the loom plug or ECU plug. the removal of the ecu, then plugging in another then the original cleaned the pin enough for it to stop f**king up. point of my story is it could be something very simple giving you your head aches. something you haven't touched. Engine has been rebuilt. can't be that (well unlikely) What has not been changed? Did you get new silicon hoses for the intercooler? have you made a simple tester to find any air leaks (mountain bike tube, hand pump and 10 minutes of your time can do this) what is the ECU? have you cleaned the connectors with electrical contact cleaner? AFM? (cleaned? resoldered? tried a known working one?) coil packs? fuel filter? fuel pump rewired to get full voltage full time? air intake sucking closed? oxygen sensor f**ked? Cat convertor functional? (remove cat and cat back and test drive (bit loud)) to be honest I can't remember what you have and haven't tried cause it's been going for so long now.
  13. back brace? do you mean a belt? powerlifting is a sport. not a parade. people do powerlifting because they enjoy the sport/competition. if you're getting in to powerlifting to pick up chicks, you're doing it wrong
  14. A lot of strength training programs are designed around percentages of your 1rm, to build your tollerences and strengths up to a new 1rm in x amount of weeks. but if you are lifting to just lift, then it doesn't really matter all that much. but just like you do a mod then tune and get a new dyno figure or run the 1/4 for a new time after money and time spent on the car, it's good to know that your time in the gym and kitchen has made a difference. and no better way then to see if you can do something you couldn't before.
  15. 2 plate bench 3 plate squat 4 plate dead = novice that's per side plate = 20kg that's a good starting goal for anyone
  16. yeah PL requires no real movement apart from up and down, be it your arms or torso. most weight divisions go up in 8-10kg jumps up to 110kg. Then 110 - 125 125 - 140 then 140+
  17. while on a rampage... 1rm calculators are also stupid. if your car weighs 1250kg and has 300rwkw, calculations would say it should run a xx.xx @ yyy mph doesn't mean that you will... especially if it's a supra lol true test of 1rm is to do one. safely. if you don't have a spotter, do it in a power cage with the safety bars set up right so you can dump the bar if you get stuck in a squat or bench. deadlift is a no brainer.. it's already on the ground.. it either lifts or doesn't.
  18. FIGJAM - no use asking if your squat is good if you are talking for reps. how much do you weigh? Ghosty has squated 120 for 20 reps weighing like 68 or something back 3 years ago. anyway, there is ALWAYS going to be someone better. I just watched a 18 year old asian kid weighing 85kg squat 256kg with no belt or wraps or suit.
  19. yeah there isn't really an off season (unless you are a pro and only compete 1 or 2 times a year) for regular joe blogs as an example, just in qld, there are 2 official sanctioned comps (with one federation - there are others) and 2 GYM comps and probably another 2 just bench or PUSH PULL (bench and deadlift) comps. Same goes for NSW, and VIC. Perth is starting up and Adelaide and NT will be soon too. the big pros will never cut down. point is to lift more so why try to restrict food. I was more saying it to Birds as he is much more in to appearance than lifted numbers etc.
  20. 1149.5 for me. but this is silly. talking in LBS is like claiming hp at the engine after getting a dyno sheet which shows kw at the wheels just to make it look bigger  Birds. There are 2 gyms I know of in Vic that you might want to just stroll in to and have a session. get them to give you advice on form and tips for best leverages etc. and try some 1rms under watchful eyes and spotters. who knows, you might get addicted. Not all powerlifters and round bellied, bearded hairy men. Member on here (not sure if still active) Stolen_S15 is a competetive powerlifter. Has recently been dieting. just got to 7.5% @ 98kg and still squats over 220, benches close to 150 and deadlifts over 250 I believe. I dare you to go give it a try. Melbourne Uni or PTC at Frankston
  21. Stop laughing.. I'm "this" close to getting a new turbo for free
  22. so was no restrictions.. just more boost and tune needed?
  23. Finally... Look forward to videos.
  24. you're still not understanding what I meant. lets say you were on your 3rd set, and you did your 4th rep. went down for the 5th, pressed and got half way up and couldn't get it any further, and the bar started to go downwards to crush you, your spotter should grab and lift it up, then rack it. Saying he is not helping much and making you do another 3 past your sticking point is obviously not making you stronger or bigger because you've had the same issue for the past 6 weeks as you have said yourself. The definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. sitting or standing if sitting, with back support or without? When I said DIPS, I meant Not
  25. Filter is a no name mate. Nothing on it anywhere. Let me know if you want it and we'll organise postage etc.
