  1. Your wrist shouldn't be supporting the weight mate. Try having your thumb above the bar too. Low bar does require more shoulder and wrist flexibility though. Comes with time. Bit of pain in the mean time too. Might need to adjust hand spacing etc.
  2. try inserting RB25 in to Engine bay.
  3. you competing at GPC Nats? if not, why not
  4. $50 and I'll come get them today
  5. Have you direct wired your fuel pump so it gets full voltage all the time? which is essentially what you make it do when you jab the throttle.
  6. Left field... http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/results.aspx?base=1216&eapi=2&silo=Stock&sort=~Price&N=1216%204294963801%204294963605%20904%201282+4294739783&vertical=Car&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5
  7. are these the ones from autobarn etc?
  8. I've got some suspension for sale. Came out of an R32 GTST coupe. Pedders Comfort Ride shocks and unknown springs. I have receipts of purchase of the shocks from a few years ago. Unsure of springs. Ride height is slightly lower than stock. They are not Harsh or busted. They are in perfect working order. These are not rock hard coil overs. They are comfortable ride and somewhat firm. Perfect for a street car. I took them out to fit a set of lower pedders shocks and Apexi springs. pics of suspension and ride height when on the car attached. Located Northside of Brisbane Price = $250 Pick up only.
  9. about 30 cans of export quality matt black and 2 hours of my time. I will only charge you $3K for my time.
  10. I compete in power lifting when I'm not injured. So I train for strength all the reps more than 5 are purely for active recovery.
  11. Crossfit = olympic movements for reps = high chance of injury. Still, better than your current routine.
  12. is it a good first turbo car? Yes Drive a few, get a compression test before buying any of them.
  13. I know sweet f**k all about MMA and it interests me 0%. but more muscle does not equal more lactic acid or prevention of oxygen around the body etc.. heavily muscled "usually" means slow moving leaner usually means faster moving So it's easier to be fitter at a lower weight because you have less to move around etc. so as you say you don't get "gassed" as quick as the heavier fella. But, if the 2 fighters are 100kg @ 6' tall, and one is 8% fat and the other is 20% fat, the one with less fat means he has more muscle.. this doesn't mean he will have more lactic acid issues or problems with oxygen traveling around the body or whatever it is you were trying to say. I don't know (care) what the divisions are in MMA... but yes, it makes sense that the endurance grappling, rolling around with your balls in another mans face while sniffing his feet would suit a lighter person. question for you.. I assume you like the "look" of MMA fighters right? and you have trained in MMA, and know how they train even when trying to go up a division, and that it is some sort of full body workout.... so why do you train the way you do? Do you know better?

  17. I know it's a little too late now.. but I limped my R32 gtst to a workshop (117 degree water temp the entire 110km drive there with the heater on full blast.. lol) and picked it up 2 weeks later with RB25det fitted, radiator replaced (old one had bottles of SEAL UP in it), new radiator hoses and general service done for fluids etc etc $3400 now on 10psi, using stock ECU, probably makes I don't know.. 170rwkw? The difference in daily drive is night and day. I've had an R33 gtst before as well but 25 in a 32 using 32 diff ratios is awesomesauce. still stock RB20 box too.. it's not going to break behind a stockish RB25... especially with me driving it.. I've had 3 old subaru turbos and never broke a box so I don't see this breaking.

  20. Lol at volume training. Volume training (which is actually German volume training) is not what you are doing there. What you are doing is creating your own theory from different things you and your mates have read somewhere. It's ok. Most people do this. But please, do yourself a favour and don't waste too much time and energy. 1. Hurting at the end of your session does not always equal good workout. 2. Soreness next day is not a good measure of a good workout. 3. Training 5 days a week does not mean its better than training 3 days a week.
  21. I just think that doubling your "maintenance" intake amount is huge. And, not the right way to go about it. My opinion only.
