  1. In terms of cost and ease, you'd be better of trying to put a stock radiator in and retest (put the shroud back on too with the stocker radiator). much quicker, cheaper and easier than pulling the head off. Radiator cap in good condition? New ones from Nissan are pretty cheap.
  2. easiest one I can describe is this. take one step forward like a lunge. back leg knee down to the ground. upper body upright. push your hips forward and you'll feel a stretch around your hips on the leg that has a knee to the floor. then swap. lots of people suggest doing the stretch where you have the foot of the leg that has the knee to the ground, up against a wall. basically it stretches it more than when it's on the floor. but it's harder. especially if you haven't been stretching it.
  3. if you are a desk jockey you will have tight hip flexors.
  4. I don't like training in a circuit of random stuff. If you want to get FIT, that kind of stuff is ok. If you want to get bigger or stronger, there are better proven ways of training - and that is not it. Everything will give a result to a certain extent. But some ways are more effective than others. If you want to get bigger and or stronger and you are new to lifting, you can't beat a simple program mainly filled with compound movements. Squat 3 x 10 Bench press 3 x 8 Bent row 3 x 8 Military press 3 x 8 deadlift 3 x 8 BB curl 3 x 8 Do the above 3 times a week. if you get the sets and reps as lifted on a certain weight, increase the weight by 2.5 - 5kg the next time you do it. If you did that and ate properly for at least 3 months you'd be on your way - Personally, if you haven't lifted and you're young, I'd suggest doing that for 12 months.
  5. there is a youtube clip of John Cena. it was like a profile video. it is from when he was trying out for the WWE. It shows him doing his shopping for food. I strongly suggest searching for it..
  6. Clio sport - 124kw 1050kg lol.. and can take a corner or 2. I don't know.. I just couldn't bring myeslf to own a lesser car.. ie buying a non turbo skyline (which mind you also has shitty brakes too compared to it's turbo model) when there are so many better options when you are restricted because of your license. Heck - I'd choose a 1987 AE82 twin cam corolla over a non turbo skyvia of some sort.
  7. Squat - The exercise = deep squat. Squat - The event = hip crease below knee height. If you are not a competing lifter lifting a massive weight for 1 single rep - squat all the way down Do a test. load up your bar with whatever you squat for 10 reps and do 3 sets of 10 reps to parallel. next session to the same weight and sets x reps but squat deep. It will be harder and you will feel soreness you didn't with the parallel squats. Foot position is not so important. what ever makes your knees feel OK. generally, they will point outwards.. probably closer to 30 degreese that 45. stretching and foam rolling helps.
  8. Dan - go to a sports store and buy a lacrosse ball. Lie on the floor (when you get home you noob.. not at the store). get that ball where that nerve is and slowly roll around till you find a sore spot.. you'll know about it when you first hit it. it's the equivalent of a remedial masseuse person digging their elbow or in the case I had, knee in to it. May bruise at first (depending on your pain threshold) but it'll get better.
  9. correct. which P platers in NON TURBO skylines are.
  10. Yes. Because being part of he jdm thing is more important than driving enjoyment. Poser for life yo!!
  11. Anyone got a straight/balanced one lying around they want to swap for cash monies?
  12. I just don't get P platers and insisting on skylines or silvias etc. take the blinkers off your eyes mate. go have a drive in a Renault Sport Clio 172. 1050kg 124kw leather bolstered seats xenon head lights throw it in to a corner or 2 and see if you an even remember what a non turbo skyline or silvia is. that is just one example of many good cars for P platers. Unless you want to pose.. then my post is of no use to you.
  13. Birds - it's not much different. just takes longer. I have a base group movements I do before certain exercises to better manage my aches. Shoulder dislocates Hip mobility Foam roll lower back, butt, ITB and quads (focusing on around the knees) Calf stretch achilles stretch then I sit in the squat position for 60 seconds. then do a few no weight goblet squats. After the battle, I ice lower back, knees and elbows
  14. you only really find out how important it is to stretch and warm up and foam roll as you get older.. ask me how I know..
  15. My guess is 1J. which is what should have gone in it in the first place. E36 and 1J go together like Jenny and Forrest.
  16. if you've installed those injectors already, none of the computers are going to run it. tow it to the workshop and take both ECUs with you.
  17. Me? I'm a VMware administrator.. and part time internet know it all.. why? Chubs - is Northgate close to you? If so, or even if it's not, can I suggest you make a treck out to it on Saturday? There is a powerlifting comp this saturday. not saying you should do powerlifting (you should though.. lol ) but I'll introduce you to a coach there that can give you proper guidance. let me know if you are keen - here or PM is fine. PS - at 185 and 80kg, you are what I would call skinny fat (in regards to not much muscle but a little belly fat. all you need to worry about is building strength and muscle. not losing weight. the gut will go while building muscle I assure you.
  18. The fact is, you have not given any information of your current status. Have you lifted before? What is your actual goal? How much time and effort are you willing to put in? Do you want to get strong or just lose weight? Do you want to be able to sprint 100m in under 11 secs? What's the plan stan???
  19. I've got the same as hank. Only because I already had the 205s for the front.
  20. sure I do. from your post it seems like you are completely new to fitness/lifting/diet in which case, no I don't. I don't ever recommend Hydroxycut Hardcore Pro Series fatburner capsules or creatine.
  21. 1.) see if you can get a refund on the stuff you purchased. 2.) every meal you have, make sure it has an animal and 3 different coloured vegetables in it. 3.) do resistance training 3 times a week - weights - choose the biggest bang for buck movements that involve the most muscles. You're in brisbane. If you want to chat to people who can help you better than the internet I'm happy to introduce you to them.
  22. that sounds fair doesn't it? Boxes are at least $1000 so $3.5K for a late model R33 Vspec engine sounds ok. oh.. you're the same guy that joined PF and asked.. lol you have no use for GTR box in the VL. get an RB25 box
  23. shut the hell up you barbell curler..
  24. bloody hell. so that's a no for $30? lol
  25. Thanks man.. $30?
