Birds turbo could be seen as a BASE figure for that hybrid turbo he had made. Comparing the 2 is not even apples and oranges, it's like apples and box of paper clips.

I don't know how many pieces the tail shaft is.. whatever the stock R32 GTST one is I suppose. So more than likely not diff then? Anyone want to point me in the direction of a Brisbane tailshaft related workshop? lol ummm not the one that did SilverS2's brothers original job obviously.
