pffft.. damn old timers.

R32 GTST with stock box and diff from what I can tell. once I get to 40km/h, there is a vibration that starts that can be felt through the whole car. it gets a little louder by 50km/h, kind of dissapears by 60-70 but is there as a loud hum.. By 100 and above, it is just a loud hum (similar to wheel bearing noise but doesn't change when you load up the left or right with bends in the road etc.) It does it in gear and out of gear so I've ruled out anything frmo the gearbox forward. How can I identify wether it is the shaft or diff or whatever else is between the back of the gearbox and the diff?

where does a stock R32 or R33 GTR intercooler sit in the graph between china spec and say PWR/ARC type coolers? Does anyone use them on GTST cars? Back say 5 years ago it was frequently used or GTR owners would say that up to about 280awkw the Stock coolers were still good. I'm thinking of getting rid of the ARC return flow for an R32 GTR cooler. Purely cause I want OEM Nissan Parts on it where I can.

Less than 6 months old. This plugs in to the consult port down near the fuse box under the steering column. it displays a whole bunch of parameters in digital or analog displays depending on how you set it. It also has recording funcitonality to an SD card (supplied) it is also a GPS receiver so you can get navigation software for it. It can also be used as a lap timer. You can also create your own tracks that is in your state - instructions available through the website. All the info for the device and it's abilities are here.. ECUDataScan Manual of the product showing setup and details of what it can do etc - HERE What you get is the screen and cables required for R32 GTST consult port (2 cables) * New price is $399 for the screen * The Nissan Consult I cable which is $69 (Nissan Cable) * Another cable which goes from the consult cable to the screen (can't remember how much this was.. about $50 or so) I'm selling this for $370 + postage is required - NOT NEGOTIABLE

so fresh so clean is a light guy. 65kg I assume by "my weekends" he means he goes out and enjoys life instead of taking a small esky loaded with the food he has to eat for the 8 hours he's out and about. no attitude version (ps - my post wasn't about you only.. it was about anyone who complains they can't gain or lose weight) do the routine I posted, as posted. eat more than you think you can. wash each meal down with a glass of fullcream milk eat like that for 6 days a week choose 1 day of the 7 to go out and live your life. do it for 12 weeks and lets see if you are still 65kg.

that's what they sell for new mate.. not second hand. I'm happy to sell my ARC kit if someone wants to pay over $600 for it. uses stock piping down to where the stock cooler is. would fit both R32 and R33 gtst

I'm sick of lazy arseholes living behind words some lab coat came up with to describe skinny lazy f**ks and fat lazy f**ks. Skinny lazy f**ks blame their 11 year old school kid figure on being an "ectomorph" oh I'm a hard gainer.. oh it's hard to eat.. oh I feel sick. fat lazy f**ks blame their jabba the hut like figures on being a "fatshitmorph".. oh I've tried every diet there is.. oh exercise just doesn't work for me.. oh i did a 15 minute walk today so I can treat myself with these 3 pizzas for $11 from dominos. You are the way you are because of the way you are. there will be a very small percentage who has some sort of medical condition, the rest of us are either lazy, emotional eaters, or just don't want to put in the effort. If you want something bad enough, you will do whatever it takes. that means puting it BEFORE everything else. going out, your prescious $10k skyline, booze, smokes etc etc. You will weigh your food you will cook it all up and preapre it. you will finish every rep of every set. you will sit there and eat the food even if you feel sick. you will say thanks but no thanks to a beer with all your best bogan friends you will take all the teasing and shit talking on the chin from your pie eating friends while you crack a tin of tuna in to a container of salad. If you come here complaining - everyone else is just rolling their eyes at your cry baby post behind their fancy monitors. Regards f**kyoumorph

mate just do a simple full body workout, 3 times a week and eat right. Squat 3 x 10 Bench press 3 x 8 Bent row 3 x 8 Military press 3 x 8 Deadlift 3 x 8 BB curl or chins 3 x 8 increase the weight the next session if you managed to get the sets and reps as listed. Trust me... you are a beginner we all are. It's not hard because you are skinny.. It's hard because it's fu**ing hard. A fat guy has to try and lose weight while lifting weights.. so they are on a calorie deficit. You get to eat like a machine... then when you're full, eat some more.

Kind of relevant to this thread... This guy is using 2 x td06SL2 20Gs on his engine.. if you are interested.... it is a 1GZ-FE - 5L V12 Auto box In to Gen 3 Subaru Liberty converted to RWD. right.. so how tall are you?, what is your current weight and how old are you? and what are you wearing.. do you think the 14kg you lose will all be fat? how do you plan on gaining LEAN muscle afterwards? if you want to gain muscle, then why are you doing such a drastic cut which will see you losing about 5kg muscle at least?

Replace thermostat and radiator cap with OEM stuff from nissan while you are at it. they are about $30 and $20 respectively. oh and good luck getting that drain bolt off the block..
-
I need to replace the heater hoses that go from the firewall to the motor. they are cracked and the manipulation required to fit them on to the RB25 will have them fall apart. where can I get new ones (other than nissan) anyone replaced them before? cost? links? thanks

I was the same back in 1989 But the next year I turned 13 and started turning in to a man. It'll hapen for you too mate.. don't be too worried.

next mod should be comprehensive insurance then.
-
yeah that's why I was looking for something that is maybe a direct replacement for the R32 GTR gauges in to the stock face All the options so far are fairly expensive (for me) from what I can see too.
-
bigjiz - sent you an SMS last night.. The motor is out and will be stripped of bits I want this saturday around lunch time. Cost of block and head left over is 1 case of Kirin First press - should be around $50 from Dan Murphys. If anyone else is keen speak up now.

Drop exhaust = unbolt the cat and the rest of the system so it just leaves the dump and front pipes - this tests if the cat convertor is blocked. Cas = Crank Angle Sensor you already answered your own question. you need a tunable ecu

$100 for the gauges -
I'd like to get the following gauges.. Oil pressure Oil temp Water temp I assume the easiest way to get this in to an R32 GTST dash is to use a GTR 3 gauge cluster. What aftermarket brands make gauges that will fit in this pod? I don't want anything flashy. Just want some way of monitoring this stuff. The factory gtst oil pressure gauge is shit. water temp gauge will sit in the middle from 63 up to 100 degrees and then climb. autogauge seem like a budget brand but I don't now of others. Maybe VDO? they are basic but good from what I remember. is there any other way to get 3 gauges in to the gap where the AC, Stereo and blank tray is? Cheers

what condition is your car in now? when do you get it back? Do you get it back or has insurance already paid out?
-
if you go from doing no sprinting to 10 x 100m sprints, no warm up on the world is going to prevent you from being sore. Either ease in to it (1 or 2 x 100) or just deal with the pain. either way is fine and you'll get used to it.
