OP has CFS. has a goal to look fit and be better at riding. yet she runs and apart from squats, is doing nothing beneficial for either of her goals. Article shows a chick who was not happy with herself, who went down the path of running and dieting etc etc. still felt like shit. then started to eat more and focus on lifting. now looks and feels heaps better and is much stronger. How do you not understand it? How do you go 2 pages without suggesting that she should stop running? What little energy you have should be used for lifting.. not jogging and creating awesome looking charts.

it's already booked in at Noosa mate. thanks for looking into it anyway.
-
Jeppe - Please have a read of this. http://nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/ Then reconsider your approach.

It will be coming out of my car in the first week of March. It will have the Harmonic balancer on it still. I'm taking stuff that I can sell off later (PS pump, AC Compressor, Alternator, turbo, manifolds (IN, EX), CAS, TPS, rocker covers, yellow jackets, etc etc) What's left will be Block, head (all still bolted together with timing belt in place etc), cams, cam gears etc etc.

Trozzle - research "Doug Hepburn" he's a 1950s, 60's weight lifter/strongman etc. long story short - he has what he called a "Military press course" basically... Does that make sense? basically he would go up by 2.5kg every 8 weeks (if doing shoulders once a week) It might seem slow, but this gives all the support muscles that allow you to put a weight overhead catch up/grow too. And if you want to read about him... http://www.sandowplus.co.uk/Competition/Hepburn/Hepburns%20Law/Hepburns%20Law.pdf It's no Mens Health but it's still pretty good.

Yeah but I'm not happy to spend time pulling it off, then packaging and sending it. If you can convince another QLD member to do it for you then you can pay them. Sorry mate.
-
Can't even give an RB20 away. skip bin it is then.
-
lol um.. I'm not sending anything anywhere. I'm giving people the opportunity to get a free-ish RB20 before it ends up in the skip bin.

So a 163,000km RB20det with a leaking headgasket will be available for a case of beer in the next week or so from Noosa. It will be missing a bunch of shit off it (manifolds, rocker covers, electrics etc) but if someone wants the block and head, you can have it for a case of beer to the workshop. Anyone interested? I can supply more details once it is booked in.

did you do a timing belt kit when you did the water pump? At least you know now that you won' thave any overheating problems. FYI - 3/4 on the temp gauge is about 105 degrees according to my ecudatascan device which connects to the consult port. From there it gets to 115 really quickly. May have cost you a bit of money but at least you are not up for a broken motor. here are a list of things ot try in order of cost (cheapest to most expensive) for others who may eventually come here and search for "overheating" "radiator" etc Radiator cap - New from nissan - part number available in forums New coolant (personaly I'd dump coolant, hose out radiator, fill with demineralised water and bleed off and drive for 30-40 minutes and repeat 3 times - letting it cool in between obviously) new thermostat - New from Nissan - part number available in forums now starts to get expensive.... New radiator or get your one cleaned by a radiator shop (keep in mind that if you get a new Thicker radiator, you may have issues with the factory Viscous clutch fan touching or the shroud not fitting - Shroud is VERY important to have on the radiator for the fan to work to full effect.) New viscous clutch for the fan New Water pump (might as well do the timing belt and make it a proper 100K service) My suggestion is to NOT use a radiator flush kit that you can buy from supercheap etc - By doing so, mine got blocked more I'd also replace the top and bottom radiator hose if replacing the radiator.

Cheers mate... I'm up Redcliffe way

Or at least someone who can supply a complete working RB25 engine and ECU for under half that price. Ideally, I'd like to go for a drive in the car that the engine is going to come out of.
-
I have a budget of $3K. I want to limp my car to them, and drive it home with everything done and working (air con, PS, etc etc) So I need them to supply the motor and fit it. Don't want the RB25 box at this stage. Am I dreaming or can this be done, and if so, by who? I'm on the North Side but can drive still.

Good Day Richie.. I was just trying to buy your car. sorry my english no good. It no scam I buy.. I buy now! you give me bank details, I give you real money 100%. Please do the needful.

what do you think the answer is to this?
-
Trozzle - Ghosty gave you the exact advice you need. camera angle or whatever is crap. that is not a proper squat. Nick has given you the reasons why you can't get any lower.. other than that.. You are loose - either that weight is too heavy for you (which it would be if you get to proper depth) or you don't know how to brace yourself. Take a much deeper breath in and hold it before you go down. Spreading your knees out is fine. so is leaning forward some more. Instead of the bar going up and down in a straight line, it is going in an "S" shape as you wobble your way trying to find depth. search for "goblet squats" on youtube and do those any chance you get to help with flexibility/mobility to help get in the hole properly. Shoes - what are you squatting in? if sneakers - get rid of them.. if you have a pair of Converse All stars, squat in those. www.mobilitywod.com is a great place to learn about mobility. I'm willing to bet that you have shit flexibility in calves, ankles, hamstring, hips and butt. Those half squats you are doing are going to cause you knee problems as you add more weight to the bar. You are not built any differently to anyone else (except tanlges since the poor kunt doesn't have knee caps) so instead of saying I can't get any lower, find out what you can to fix it. When you bench press, do you lower the bar till it touches your chest, or do you go halfway and back up? When you do curls, do you go curl half way up then bakc down or all the way up? No different for squats.

I think it is meant for a P plater.. so would have a P plate on the far right side so in your rear view mirror you would see that it said PENI15 lulz

as a guide. my car has: pod turbo back exhaust fuel pump 15psi on stock turbo nistune makes 160rwkw so with an RB25 tubo you'll get around 10-15% more at the same boost (roughly) not sure how much difference the cams and cam gears will make. Definitely finish off the exhaust and do the fuel pump. I don't think it will need bigger injectors if the turbo you are going to use is an RB25 one. nistune is up to the task mate. in some ways, more so than a PFC. Canberra is only like 3 hours away from sydney organise a day with a tuner and drive down for it.
-
Nistune. and if you want to see a display - get an ecudatascan device. I've got that combo in my R32. http://ecudatascan.com.au/store.html it can display like 10 or 12 parameters from an R32 GTST. Also can be a GPS and do lap timing for tracks and you can actually build your own track image in to it etc etc.

Good luck mate. It is the perfect buy in that it handles well, is well maintained, looks good and hasn't been touched in terms of power up. Hope you get what you want for it but you know what it's like to sell a skyline these days.
