  1. lol.. I will have bought and sold the car by then so it may work out.. but the sequence goes, nissan, subaru, nissan, subaru. so you might be out of luck Edit - The Silviaof5weeks doesn't cound as a nissan so we are currently at nissan
  2. If you think your car is worth over $10K, press Back button now. I'm after my next mistake car. happy to spend up to $10K. what I want is one of the following... R32 GTST (no f**ked sik drift shitboxes with body kits) - manual, 2 or 4 door, not damaged, with rwc and rego. R33 GTST (prefer series 2 but will look at 95 models too) - manual, 2 or 4 door, not damaged, with rwc and rego. R34 GTT manual or auto, 2 door only (assume most would be auto at the cheaper end and needs to be so as I'd be getting it swapped to manual), not damaged with rwc and rego. prefer light colours (white, silver) but will consider all colours except black (no racist... well... maybe some). May consider orange at the right price to be able to get it re-sprayed and back under $10K I'm also happy to pay $10K for the GTR equivelant for the above models. show me wat u got brah...
  3. Is this a chinese rip off of a Greddy Emanage Ultimate Ecu
  4. lol at the word filter switching turk3y... training at home is great. I couldn't go back to a health club type gym. PTC franchised out to Sydney and Brisbane. Brissy one is in the joining suburb to me so I've been there a few times to test out proper 1rms etc but other than that, it's all at home. Honestly, I find training with my shit* equipment better for when I go in to the PTC Brisbane to test PB's or comps with his good stuff. Deadlifting with a cheap oly bar with "ok" knurling and non comp plates then competing with an ABC bar and proper diameter bumper plates makes for great PBs. *shit compared to expensive bars
  5. right ok.. as a person looking to buy a car at the moment, I say I don't want an orange car and that it will be harder to sell than a stock colour and I'm a tosser? cool.. I'll move aside and let all the other buyers that are lined up have a look.
  6. mine are always squats and a press or deads and a press. so on the nights where I train, I'll put a chicken in the oven, do the squats or deadlifts and dinner will be ready. eat, then go out and bench or press.
  7. Kez - I use a "day per page diary" to log my trainig. you know.. an actual diary.. not an app called "day per page diary" it takes ALOT less time to scribble an exercise, sets, reps and weight on paper, than it does on an app on a tiny screen when your hands a shaking like a mofo after finishing your set. And, the diary doesn't end up breaking if you get chalk and sweat and water all over it. And, for 45 minutes, you can get away from your phone. on the topic of time of day training, I had trained mornings (5am) for years and years. summer/winter... and always outside on the patio. couple of things lead me to having to train at night and it is ALOT better. for me.. mainly the spine and knees and elbows for me. Only bad thing is that it pushes dinner back later. or I do some of my training, then have dinner, then finish it off. NOTE: don't do squats or deadlifts straight after eating dinner. bench or press or rows seems fine so far.
  8. sorry.. I wasn't referring to a ipswich special where the cost of everything is calculated in "packs of winnie blues" I meant from a body shop, where someone who does car sprays for a living, but doesn't charge like Queen Street Smash repairs. I doubt it is going to cost $1K to get rid of the orange AND still be a decent paint job in 6 weeks time.
  9. lol.. how is someone a tightarse for buying a skyline for $10K? You are right, it has lots of good bits on it. and if 18 year olds could buy turbo cars, this would be priced closer to $15K but they can't. and trying to find someone that wants to buy a bright orange skyline is going to be hard. And even though the whole car has been given the series 2 treatment, it is a 1993 R33 series 1. Honestly, I would want to get it real cheap so I could get it sprayed a regular colour and still come out under $9K you probably are better off selling all your good bolt ons and getting it back to standard and selling it for like $6K or something.. but it's just a pain in the arse to undo all the good work. What does a complete colour change respray cost these days?
  10. This is why said that I take that much but didn't suggest others should. Fish oil in that sort of dosage of the standard 1000mg capsules is the only thing that aids my elbows and knees with the pain I get from lifting. don't get me wrong, the pain is not "oh my god I'm going to die" pain.. but rather a dull ache after lifting. it's probably more to do with the fact that I'm closer to 35 than 18 though.
  11. yep
  12. Phil - the 400 for $11 jobs at chemists also say to take 6 per day (2 with each meal sort of thing) but I still have more ie close to 20 so if this says take 2 per day, I'd still be looking at having 6 or more per day. Not saying you should.. Just saying I do.
  13. 60 pack is going to last about a week. do they make larger packs?
  14. sorry guys.. didn't realise we had to be PC here. I also didn't think I said anything offensive.
  15. Full Squat 10x3 Bench 8x3 Bent Over Rows 8x3 Stiff Leg Deadlifts 8x3 Overhead Press 8x3 Bicep Curls 8x3 All those should be using a 20kg 7' olympic BB (except maybe the curls cause you shouldn't be doing the curls in the power rack or bench press where the olympic BBs are anyway - unless the joint is deserted). Stick to it. routine has BB rows and BB curls and Overhead press and Bench press that's 2 pulling and 2 pushing exercises which work the bi's and tri's along with their main intent. no need to add shit. don't change anything from the program.
  16. Ash creatine loading is a load of shit - don't need to load (well you don't need creatine but youve bought it now so might as well use it) - just use the maintenance level they suggest - and lots of water re shoulders - Ask what your physio thinks about shoulder dislocates (google/youtube it to see what I mean) It helps all the joints around the shoulder and elbows.. so pecs, traps, upper back, all insertions of muscles at every section of the shoulder, bicep and tricep insertions at the elbow, forearm insertion at the elbow etc. your routine - in short is rubbish. you listd 4 sessions, they all had pec work and none had Back work - that's just one example.. you already have shoulders that round forward (can even see it in your R31 video) due to years of desk monkey work, and you are now starting the gym and doing pec work over and over which will develop that muscle and keep pulling the shoulders in. Nick has given very good advice regarding training.. I suggest you make a program out of that, or find one of the many noob programs out there (starting strength, 5x5 etc). head over to ausbb.com - they have a few outlined beginner programs which are good. good on you for getting back in shape and becoming a useful human instead of a useless gimp.
  17. Yeah people selling cars always think like that. then when buying cars see what things are really worth these days. but anyway, if things change, let me know. As I said, I'd be happy to bring along my own wheels for it.
  18. if I was willing to spend another $5K it wouldn't be a GTT that I'd buy. Looks like a clean car though. hope it works out for ya.
  19. here's the thing right. it's a car. there are thousands of them around. your car (insert car here) that you are trying to sell is worth whatever I (the buyer) has/wants to spend. if you loved the car so much, it wouldn't be up for sale. but your wedding/mortgage/operation or whatever your reason is for selling it is more important to you than your car. Islade - your car is a 93 model series 1 R33 (which if I recall was auto when you came and bought those wheels off me years ago). it looks like you've spent a small fortune on it. what's it worth? To me it's worth about the same as any other clean series 1. actually, I wouldn't buy a orange car so I wouldn't even make an offer.. and there is the problem for you. your car is the colour a P plater would love.. it has the "hey look at me" feel to it. you know who else looks at those? Cops. If your car was White or Black and everything else as it is now, then perhaps $7K would be max I'd pay since it has GTR interior. There is ALWAYS someone more desperate to sell their car than you. Since Jay sold his for $10K, I'm going to hassle every R34 owner trying to sell their car for high teens to reduce it if they want to sell. same goes for S15s and Series 2 R33s. Lol - there is some guy trying to sell his 93 R32 gtst with 165,000kms for $12.5K? it must be advertised cause his missus wants him to sell it and he can say "see honey - noone want sto buy it" Brad - I'll give you $7K for the civic
  20. Hey chief. the last GTT on these forums sold for $10K on the weekend. Willing to swing to those figures? You know.. before I bank the $10K I had already taken out to buy it but got beaten to it. minus the wheels obviously.
  21. Yeah.. I'm working on a 2001 Pewter S15 at the moment.
  22. shut up Col.. lol
  23. you suck Jay. just a quick question. How long before picking up the car did they transfer the cash? can't believe you sold it to a bunch of lebs before letting me buy it. Now I'm sitting here with $10K cash I have to go back to the bank to deposit on Monday.
  24. I'm meeting up with Jay this weekend. give it a good clean man.. the minister of war and finance will only really care about how it looks.. lol
  25. dealers will see the milage and low ball you worse than the SMS guy.. or just say no.. Ask me how I know.
