  1. exactly mate. focus on doing difficult movements. the ones that take the most out of you. example - heavy squats. it uses heaps more energy and muscle groups than bicep curls. get your workout done within an hour or 45 minutes. then just eat like a horse and sleep. it's that simple. simple on paper (or pixels in this case) but very hard to do. Google "starting strength" and read up on that. it seems simple. Monday squat 3 sets of 5 reps Bench 3 sets of 5 reps deadlift 1 set of 5 reps Wednesday Squat 3 sets of 5 reps Standing Overhead press 3 sets of 5 reps Power cleans 5 sets of 3 reps Friday = same as Monday easy yeah? try it. each time you can get the number of reps for the number of sets, you make note to increase the weight next time. so if you did 3 x 5 squats with 60kg on Monday, wednesday you try for 3x5 of 62.5kg or 65kg if it was really easy on Monday etc. to work out what you should start at, get under the bar and keep doing sets of 5 reps of squats and increasing the weight each set. when you get to the point where you can't get the 5th rep, go back to the weight you were using 2 sets ago and make that the starting weight for that exercise. same for the other movements. and eat!
  2. trozzle - eat more. drink lots of full cream milk and when training, do compound movements like squats, bench press, deadlift, over head press read the link I posted for bozodos above bozodos - not me.. but all very true, and entertaining reading.
  3. that diet (apart from the dinner) is terrible mate. absolutely shocking. you are going to get nowhere fast.
  4. trozzle what do you weigh? how tall are you? List all the food you ate/drank yesterday and the portions.
  5. good. go here http://www.ptcfrankston.com/newsletter.html#null read articles. do as they say eat as they suggest
  6. No.. you'll still get callouses. chalk just prevents slipping.
  7. anything man.. it's up to you. but you have to set some sort of goal. something to aim for. be it pants size, waist measurement, amount lifted, time taken to do something.. anything. set short term goals. work out what you need to do to reach that goal then do it.
  8. look at the mirror and realise how disgusting you look.
  9. Go the original..
  10. no.. he should use Chalk. not straps. Straps will not help his grip strength. if you don't get stronger as you get bigger, and you introduce weakensses by using straps, you will end up injured or gay with aids. so in summary - straps = Gaidz!

  13. This guy.. he speaks the truth.
  14. nice.. definitely cleanest I've seen. My offer is now $4K
  15. sweet. what is the part number on the R33 box so I can confirm it is an R33 one. did you have to change the R32 tail shaft to fit the R33 box? when you say "coils" do you mean aftermarket coilovers? or are you refering to lowered springs? or do you mean the coil packs? Where should I bring, seats, wheels and girlfriend and $6K to to buy your car? Also, was the engine bay and door jams painted? any engine bay pics? My girlfriend wants to make sure that it's worth being traded for.
  16. right. explain how it's mean? and explain how white leather STOCK SEATS make's it worth more? is it actually leather retrim or is it the leatherette seat covers what you can buy? correct me is I'm wrong, but what you have there is a stock R32 gtst with a respray, re trimmed seats (maybe), lowered springs (stock shocks), and an exhaust. All with 165,000kms. basically, it's a stocker with high km's. I'm sure your wheels are worth a bit (to you) so a stock R32 with no wheels, $6K is plenty. if you want to keep your leatherette seat covers, I'm more than happy to bring my own seats.
  17. I saw that yesterday too. today SAM077 Stagea drove past my house.
  18. Birds list of reasons sounds like an R33 owners list of reasons why they lost a race or won't race. - I have a misfire and the coils I taped are still getting too hot. - my side mount intercooler is only good for the first 7 minutes of driving so I can't race now. - clutch is slipping. - boost gauge was not set on the correct background colour. - monster tacho was not mounted at the correct angle. - I have to warm my car up for the first 3 hours of driving before I can give it a squirt.

    Servicing My 33

mate I still have castrol diff and gearbox oil and front brake pads..which I bought and never used. it's enough for an R33. buy it off me. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Se...ts-t290566.html
  20. $6K and I'll bring my own wheels.
  21. nah.. he's of Middle Eastern appearance. or sometimes known as a Western Oriented Gentlemen
  22. I was behind GTR-R35 Kelvin grove road heading in to the city. We were going equally fast stuck in the traffic.. lol god it looks good. the wheels really suit it.
  23. Birds - there is so much wrong with what you are saying that I'm not even going to bother arguing.
  24. topher has posted his pic. if it's him, he's obviously solid and knows what to do. problem is exactly what you said.. Fitness First and the likes. and what they represent. my gym is nothing like that. I'd go as far as to say that my gym is better than most peoples.
  25. I use my strength to get stronger. seen your pics on NS Ali. The point of the article I posted was that a skinny guy gained 55lbs (roughly 22kg) by eating alot of calories and doing basic movements 3 times a week. none of those movements involved DIRECT bicep work, tricep work, calf work, forearm work, abs work, and general isolation crap. Article goes on to say that 31lbs of that weight gain was lean muscle mass. the 2 pics show that he still looks lean because he was truly a skinny kid. All in 11 weeks. If he had eaten the same amount of calories and went to the gym and did what most beginners do and pick up an EZ bar and do curls and leg presses, he would not have made anywhere near the same muscle gain. alot more fat. He was a true novice and 20 years old so it was the perfect scenario for big gains. not only did he get stronger, he got bigger. Someone on this thread mentioned wishing he was fat to begin with because he can't gain weight. but listed 2 or 3 supplements they were taking. were they eating 6000 calories a day including a 4 litres of milk? were they doing the basic compound movements? or where they doing 3 types of bicep curls and leg ext with 3 second holds in the locked position? In reality though, no 18-22 year old carnt is going to listen to anyone giving advice that says "do squats, deads and bench and eat heaps and you'll get big and strong" they'll read it and go "pfftt.. this dickhead didn't even mention alternate DB curls while lying face down on an incline bench.. why would I listen to him" each to their own.
