  1. mines a daily. it's maintained. it's boring. I'm not going to spend any money on it. I don't like it. It is not practical... and it is for sale. so after 2 R32's and 1 R33, I don't think I'll return to another skyline. For good this time. not like the other 2 times I said it.. lol

    R32 Vs R33

Midnight madness - selling an R33 is near impossible... you'll find that out when you try to sell yours. from your obvious non biased post, I assume you might like an R33 over an R32 just a little lol. just because his thread is asking which of the 2 is better, there is no harm in bringing in another contender which is better than both in terms of performance. if he wanted something that looked better, he'd get a non turbo R34 with rims.. it would look better than all the others and be the same price. S13 will be a better performer than both gtst's. in all forms of motorsport. so think a little more next time before you run your mouth hey?

bundy??? it'll cost me double that in fuel to get there.. thanks but I'll give that one a miss. KJS - not a close up one.. it still on the car.. which part of the exhaust did you want a pic of? just the muffler or?? and do you have a stock one to swap with? yes the cat is working fine... but I don't see how that is relevant as I am going to get rid of the part AFTER the cat.

    R32 Vs R33

Serious reply... for once.. Out of the 2 options of R32 GTST or R33 GTST, if you are asking which one is faster in a straight line, which is faster around a track, which handles better etc.. the answer is an S13 with SR20det. The lightest R32 GTST is an 89 model with no ABS weighing 1290kg (dry) The SR S13 is 1170kg For $10K, you could get a very decent S13. the only things I don't like about S13's???? Brakes interior seats and trim solution? R33 GTST hubs/brakes S15 GT interior Problem solved. It's better in every way. I've had 2 RB20 R32's and my current (for sale) R33 gtst. word of advise... if you think that you may one day in the future want to change cars, DON'T buy an R33. lol

    Northsiders

Northlakes is not a good place to meet up.. you guys should find somewhere else.. anywhere else.. all meet up at COL's place.. he has like a 18 space car port. Honestly, I know of about 3 or 4 skylines in northlakes apart from myself and everyone does the right thing.. if there is a meetup, then it gets attention. I don't want that shit where I live. and I don't want to be hassled by the cops the next time I drive past them just for having the car I do. so.. meet somewhere else. back of westfield now has the circus there so too many cars park there all the time. maybe drive up further to rothwell at that homecenter.. plenty of parking. /old man
  17. did it sell through here or tradingpost? how much did you end up selling it for.. PM me if required..
  18. come on.. surely everyone is wanting their very own series 1 R33 gtst
  19. on carsales now..
  20. B]Make & model:[/b] Nissan Skyline R33 GTST Year: 1993 Kms: 135,000kms Colour: White Body: Coupe RWC: Will be available on deposit Modifications: Cat Back exhaust, lowered springs, rear strut tower brace Price: $9300 General: 5 speed manual. Working Air con. Car is near standard. I am looking to downgrade to some sort of runabout so am looking to sell the skyline off. In the year or so I've had it, it has been serviced with Mobil 1 every 5000kms. I change the plugs every second oil change. Oil and air filters are changed with each service. The car has rego till Sept 2009. It will pass a RWC check no problems but I will not get it until I get a deposit for the car as selling skylines do take a while. It has a JVC MP3 deck and some regular speakers (not much of a stereo fan). Car has an insurance approved immobiliser fitted by an authorised workshop. I will consider swaps for cars which meet my needs with cash on top towards me. Not interested in cars that are worth the same or more than mine. May swap for: twin cam corolla or seca Subaru Liberty Wagon Old BMW Will NOT swap for: anything made by ford or holden. the swap car will need to be SUB $5K Cheers.
  21. I've lost my mojo these days.. It's just not in me anymore.
  22. why not buy another stocker, paint it, then swap it all over a weekend. then sell the one you took off. cost you nothing.
  23. you do realise there is a difference between a GTR cat and a COMPLAINCE cat that you get when importing a GTR or any other car right?
  24. :laughing-smiley-014: :laughing-smiley-014: :laughing-smiley-014: :laughing-smiley-014: Awesome mechanic. also, you turbo charged your VN and say it is faster than your skyline. well.. 3.8L turbo charged, with I assume some sort of aftermarket management etc, compared to a 2.5L stock car (apart from exhaust). When you turbo charged your VN, did you use a "new stock skyline turbo"? I still think it's funny he said "there's no power difference and all it does is make the turbo sound likes it winding up more" Did he really say this or are you spinning stories.
  25. sure it does.. www.boost.com lol
