The town where they got busted is one of the worse areas in sydney, would not surprise me if the cops were looking for drugs and illegal weapons as well.

I have kept a record of every drop of fuel I have put in my car for the last 6 months and how many k's i am getting. I will make a new thread with the results after a few more mods so people can get some idea what to expect. I started stock, then added 3 inch dump pipe and hi flow cat, then pod filter. next is a PowerFC which I am sure will make a big difference to my mileage. I have not added up any results yet but will be interesting to see. Will keep u posted, just as soon as i get the PowerFC. Damo

Chaos, Giving your car a little squirt off the lights will never hurt anyone (in my opinion) and I never said anything about going over the speed limit. I do not believe that having 2 different opinions on 2 issues that are at such opposite ends of the scale is a contradiction. And I cant imagine why my opinion would concern you unless u are on of these fast and furious drag racers or you are driving miss daisy. Damo

Well including track days which are on several times a month at various tracks around town can easily accommodate for large numbers. All I am saying is that there is a time and a place to give your car a flogging, doing it on public streets with 100 others is just asking for trouble. If u have to get off on the roads just smoke a commodore or falcon off the lights. LOL. Always does it for me.

I agree with u ronin, its the idiots that drive these cars that give them (and the rest of us responsible drivers) a bad name. What really pisses me off is the fact that half these idiots probably live within 10-15 minutes of eastern creek where they can drag race legally on a wednesday night once a month. I am not to sure on this topic, but I believe that the Skylines boost an extra 2 psi above 5000 rpm. Sounds like it may be working properly. Damo

When I bought my car the owner gave me this green T piece which he said will boost the car, all u have to do is put it on one of the lines that lead to the solonoid, but only do it if u have a boost gauge. I have some pics of where it is to go and what it looks like. Can someone tell me if this is a safe way to get extra rwkw and also how this might work. I cant see how it is a good idea as the solonoid is taken out of the system. Would this lead to problems?

And unique autosports in Sydney for $695. How can this guy on ebay be selling the new model on ebay for $549? Makes no sense to me.

Hey all, I am looking at adding an apexi s-afc and am not sure if I should pay the extra money to get the latest series 2 model where u can have 12 preset modes instead of 8 and adjust every 200RPM instead of 500RPM. It doesnt work with fuel injection, but works well on my old magna. I once blew the hell out of my muffler, split it in 2. Use to do it all the time on the streets scaring pedestrians. Was great fun for a laugh.

I emptied out the radiator fluid tonight, then flushed the radiator and filled it back up. One problem, only 2.5 liters went in???? The hose from the bottom has no fluid in it and with the engine running it does not get hot. Is there a thermostat in the radiator stopping the fluid from flowing. Can someone give me a basic rundown of the cooling system so I can tell if it is working right. I am driving to melbourne tomorrow and need to know before I go if everything is ok. Cheers Damo

hey all, can someone please tell me if the fuel warning light is supposed to come on when the ignition is first turned on. My fuel gauge is almost on empty, no warning light yet? Thinking the light may be blown or maybe i have a few liters to burn still.

Can anyone recommend a cheap place in sydney to get the front mounted air intake tubing, (the black plastic thing which goes into the airbox) and what price should I pay? I was quoted $50 at unique auto sports and thought that was a rip off.

Hippy, Have you looked at boston? they are american, I am getting a pair of 6" splits FS60 for the front next week. They are around 300 at lifestyle. They kick ass over all the jap brands.

Sfitzy, No I have the factory setup, but do have a large exhaust rear of the cat. If all is normal then i can live with that.
