  1. I'll dive in ............ target = " Are there STAGEA specific springs? Answer is "not sure, there may well be now." or; are they the same as the skyline. " (Yes, kinda, hard to answer ~ there are a few variations of Skylines, some bits fit.) Hi there, it is my understanding that early on in the development of the Stagea suspension package group buy SK (after heaps of research, being a diehard Stagea owner & performance suspension engineer), came to the conclusion that the Whiteline springs you list above were a very close/ideal fit to what was needed to optimise/improve factory spring rates. It was also decided that because of low numbers of Stags a specific spring development/factory run would be costly & therefore not practical for the whole purpose of "group buys", especially when there was an already existing Whiteline product "close fit" with the desired spring rates. So, the part numbers specified are close fit, not especially Stagea specific. Can't remember (fr or rr) now but one set needed to be installed downside up. Some owners opted to keep thier original springs, squeeze them down a bit along with adjustable Bilstein shocks with the extra circlip grooves to obtain desired ride height along with the "bang for buck" Whiteline swaybars which work a treat. Since the package was launched Eibach springs have been offered as an alternative & these are the business but more costly. Having said all that, there may well now be "Stagea specific" Whiteline springs being produced which do not need to be inverted. Dunno. Some background, my car was initially around 400/380 dragarse on delivery & chewing out tyres at an alarming rate, so I bought "the works" including the springs listed in your post above, a couple of years ago, couldn't get my head around inverted spring fit on my most precious possession (coulda been front spring set) so I installed my original springs back in with the grooved Bilsteins which worked fine (I wanted not so low ride height anyway for the bush driving ~ lotta carcases on the roads) springs was compressed a fair bit to achieve ride height, visions of spring clamps failing, so when Eibachs were offered as a solution I opted for them. Very happy with the results. GW
  2. Time to get back into it then? Stress & depression is to be avoided at all cost, very bad for your health & difficult to cure without back-traking to happier times, or so I've been told. Cheers GW
  3. Snap! Spotted this one (on the left), today & it stayed around long enough for me to zip home & grab camera. Sorry about the crappic quality.
  4. We used Austrans (or Aust trans) outta Brisbane (near the airport) to Perth for $1200~ a couple of years ago now. Car is to be mobile with no freight in it other than usual stuff, spare tyre etc. No personal items. No have phone number but maybe google can help? Cheers GW
  5. Been going to do this for a while...........bit slack. Name: Graham Forum name: An amalgam of my ride & my occupation, not an authority on the 260RS, never will be. Know where to get a lotta stuff but, just ask me. Location: Eastern Goldfields. Surfaced: Post WWII=(vfo) I once met a man who carted freight for De Bernales. Occupation: Instro tech ~ not one of them half n half jobs. Current activity: Auditing process control systems on mineral processing plants that "said audits" are then consigned to the underpants file until it's too late to make use of them. Drive: Troopie to work, 260RS to play. Music: Anything quality, & Country ~ ftw. Movies: All the classics/collectables. Personal interests in: Imported Nissan turbo cars, SAUWA, accurate firearms, (anything called Remington or Marlin or Walther or Colt or Hammerli or Airmatch), Ruger bumper stickers, more liberal firearms regulations, finding shiny stuff for my Stagea, reading, big sheds with four poster hoists in my locale, people who know & share it, beach fishing, bush bashing, consenting women, casual female drinking partners, happy people who are still breathing, when the stock market is going to bottom out, (to the minute) you get the idea. Cruises: Done a couple, would like to do more but work & distance & so on........all were fun & good to meet up with like-minded people who know & share it. Useful for: Offroad directions to Sandstone, Wiluna, Gunbarrel highway, gps locations where bodies will never ever be found. Trust me. I have maps. Community interests in: horny mums, much older sisters/aunties, anything really.........grannies on appro, no beards. Current hero: The 78yo GTIR hoon! (I'm a responsible driver) Current problems: 1. Work, 2. lost my SAUWA sticker, 3. Work. That's all.
  6. Hi there, surely someone does know but at this time of the year they are probably all on holiday. That said I did a search just now in the Stagea suspension thread, (rear+camber*) & got about three pages of links, discussing rear camber. This link may also be of help http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4213215 Also Yokatsa??13 states S14 bits fit. SK & Duncan would know for sure, Holidays maybe. Further, RHDJAPAN (one of my favourite places) have a few diagrams which may help you identify your particular part if you search for "Stagea Nismo" (suspension bits/bushes) Cheers GW
  7. Got my 260RS from Mick Martin, SVI. I would deal with SVI again no question. Patience pays. Cheers & good hunting. GW

  11. Have a dig around in the suspension threads, there are a couple of them. One for stageas' an one for R33's maybe. Heaps of info in there. Happy hunting... GW Maybe this info is useful? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=1262450
  12. I had a pic as a screen saver of a beautiful yellow Nismo Stag (think it was S1) but my dam computor destroyed it. the grill was the same style as the GTIR Pulsar job. The bonnet had two lovely vents in it, i remember that much. When i went shopping with SVI, Mick Martin I was after a Nismo or Autech. Mick never ever came back with any Nismo jobs up for auction. in fact he did not even acknowledge they existed. But.......I had a screen saver once. Cheers GW
  13. I have no idea but i would imagine heaps of them. It would be like, how many customers ordered that version in any particular month of the production run spanning several years. There would have been more than enough built for the model to be recognised worldwide I should think. I would like to know how many really top nick examples are left? Not counting mine of course. Cheers GW
  14. Update. Gotem tonite, goodonya Madaz, trader rating on the way soonas I work it out. Cheers GW

  17. Hi there, the info part #'s I posted related to RB25DET I suspect as SK has auto Stagea. At the end of the day it is all gunna relate to your ecu & what model Skylines/Stags use similar ecu's. The discussion regarding Titania(ium?) oxide vs Zirconia oxide I imagine relates to different response curves of the two primary elements when exposed to oxygen, which means the compatible ecu's will have different input measuring ccts. Maybe we take a punt & say R33GTR o2 sensor will suit 260RS & R33GTST will suit the RB25DET equiped beasts? R32/R34 series cars............dunno. Just found this...........Check out the attachment. Narrow & fast (Titania) vs wide & slow (zirconia)? Anyway I am happy to buy 2 x (NGK/ NTK Part number OZA395-E2 O2 Sensor Nissan Pulsar N14/N1 Genuine article no need to change plug or anything.) for my application, I will sell the buggers on ebay or something if they are the wrong jobbies & try again. Cheers GW All_About_Lambda_Sensors.doc

  21. Nope, not entered, was waiting for phonecall to go work up north (been waiting over 2 weeks) got the s@#ts & decided to go see what Dutton was all about, good excuse to drive the Stag, caught up with old motorbike nutter friends in Collie (accomodation) watched Dutton for a while, not really a spectator sport from where I was standing, unless yer an eagle, but looks like fun if yer init. Missed the smell of methanol....sob. Took a few more pics but they's mostly the same perspective, a videocam with sound would give you a better image but I did'nt have that. Maybe con these competitors to fit carcam, especially the dude that took the detour Cheers GW

  23. Hi there, I don't think they do have forged internals (pistons) but like others say there are other significant improvements, plus you have a factory assembled engine. With an ATI balancer you should have most of it covered for some hp fun. Cheers GW PS: Thankyou Importmonster & the ATI group buy organiser.
