Good deal, but using their shipping calculator works out to about $1500 AUD shipped air/EMS. Import Monster commission is $145! Based on everything I've read I'm not sure they'll be worth the extra over the BCs? Edit: Found this link while searching the forums for info on Silk Roads... very useful for IM suspension searches... http://www.importmonster.com.au/yahoo?cat=2084198619&term=m35&page=2

Prospect SA, Iain, so no I might be interested. If you decide you're not going to use it PM me. -
I had my last car tuned at Ultra Tune because it was simple... this one will be a little more complex. It isn't modified at the moment, but I'm organising bits at the moment, so want to organise which ECU to use and pick it up as I find it cheap. Need to do turbo soon, so I'll be doing an upgrade, and working on supporting mods now, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler and ECU. Want to get all that in place before I do the turbo. You're by hero! Have to catch up with you and discuss over a beer. I read through everything in the Stagea section and came to the conclusion F-con or Emanage was the way to go, depending on which you could get tuned locally. Sounds like Emanage is going to be easier in SA. Damn. Seemed like F-con was the best option, but not practical to use an interstate tuner. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll ring a couple and see what they say.

Multitude? We have two, G1 Drift and Stadium Drift. G1 is Mallala, Stadium is at Tailem Bend. Bad luck Chef. Pics?

Oh so you're that guy who still uses the Yellow Pages and keeps them in business? Don't remember the last time I used the Yellow Pages. I use Google. If I'm looking for a personal recommendation I use forums, friends, and have found Twitter quite good if you use hash tags properly.

There are a couple of C34 owners using their cars as tow vehicles. Simon Michelmore has one now, not sure who has the other. I didn't get up there in the end. Too busy.

Mine likes my car because its more comfortable. Still doesn't stop her calling it a hearse at every opportunity... After the recent cruise I get a message... "How was the hearse cruise?" -
Looking At Buying An Nm35 But Need Some Pointers

I wanted a light colour. I saw a great black M35 when I was looking around, think it had everything I wanted + leather and Bose, but I really didn't want black. In hindsight I'm glad I didn't get the Bose option, just wanted the spare wheel well mounted Sub SA Motorsport Tyres are a customer of mine, and were going to set me up with some custom Braid wheels. Kind of liked the idea of the white multispokes on the white M35, something a bit different. Just checked my email and I just asked for comparative prices on 18s and 19s. I'll go 19s if I can get enough sidewall to maintain comfort. PM me if you want to have a look. -
x1000 if youre driving a public bus! I love riding, but cant help but agree with a lot of the anti cyclist rhetoric when the latte sipping, lycra clad weekend warriors ride 3+ abreast and dive into traffic! I keep as far left as I can and always ride indian file. I also know both sides, I got hit a couple of years back in a bike lane by an idiot who wasnt watching where he was going. Hit and run too... Bike, shoulder and my face were a mess (some will say no change!) but could have been much worse...

Link To Hdi Intercooler Kit Group Buy, M35
bigkevracer replied to iamhe77's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Awesome news, cheers. Search showed up the Blitz kit, but seemed like it was a pain to fit and had no benefit over the HDI. PWR was just someone I was curious about. Figured the cost would be high but didnt know if they were good enough to make it worthwhile. Will go the HDI shortly! Thanks! -

I've just bought a M35 pearl white with an aero kit and I love it! Mine has twin sunroofs, aero kit, tv and single din stereo. If I had my time again Im not sure Id change anything. Speak to Brad about the language conversion. I think its pretty cheap and will be doing mine soon. Commsman does the HDTV tuners cheap, only issue is the DVD player. Im trying to get DVD/aux out/ipod control/bluetooth in one unit, and so far Ive found a JVC AVX77 that does all that, and a couple of Philips units that apparently the bluetooth is average on. Ive been surprised how good the standard speakers are and have no plans to change them any time soon. Im pricing up 18s at the moment just because i want some sidewall. Bought a N14 SSS once and it had low profile tyres and I hated it with a passion. Dont want to ruin what is so far proving to be a great car. Plenty of info and help on here if you search. People are happy to answer questions and help out, and its really interesting if you search, and find some threads from when the M35 first got here and everyone had to work it out themselves. Some great stuff. Edit: Youre welcome to come have a look at mine if itll help. Im at Prospect. -
Good point, but I was hoping people with experience with these tuners and aftermarket ECUs could provide suggestions/run downs. Maybe I phrased it wrong in the OP. If no one has a personal opinion I'll have to chase it up with each workshop. I was hoping to avoid this, power of forums. Good, because that would just be weird...
-
Which is great, but there are no suggestions of who is good, nor what ECU will be easiest to tune. I dont want to be locked into one tuner, and I always prefer to go somewhere personally recommended.
-
Can anyone suggest a good tuner in Adelaide? I'm currently looking at ECU options for my M35 Stagea, and I'm thinking I should see what Adelaide tuners are familiar with before I make a decision. Was looking Greddy Emanage or HKS Vcon, but am open to suggestion.

If the op is still looking for the Axis conversion, someone is selling the over fenders on ebay... Do a search for m35 stagea and you'll find them. I did see those Tiens, was tempted, but heard too many good things about the BCs...

Depends if you swerve violently racing style

Link To Hdi Intercooler Kit Group Buy, M35

The sway bar group buy isnt even over yet and I'm looking at more bits... Just wondering if anyone is interested in a new group buy for these? Seems like 10 is the magic number. I'm keen to help out to get this sorted. HDI intercoolers are about $770 + $50 shipping on ebay, so any saving would be worthwhile. Are HDI the only people doing kits? Not worth talking to PWR or similar? -
I get about 400kms a tank since i got the car back to Adelaide. I think that works out to about 20l/100, or 5km/l for those with the leaf! The novelty of the turbo hasnt worn off yet though, so there has been a bit of fun... Im running the car on 100 octane e10, i have a servo down the road and there are a fair few in SA. Last night cost me $1.50/l.

Pretty sure Nick Parnell was a casual percussion teacher at my high school (Pulteney). Name rings a bell... I'll never forget the day his percussion ensemble performed for a group from a nursing home. As soon as they started all the old fogies were reaching for their hearing aids! Gold!
