  1. What's the plan then? Hypergear? If only you had somewhere you could take it to do the turbo work for you...
  2. Peter, let me know when you're free and happy to let you take moulds off my M35. I'm keen on an under floor sub box, and maybe an A piller gauge pod.
  3. How do you know its the original turbo?
  4. One of my mates on a highway got the car down to 9L/100. My personal best is around 9.6. Around town without driving the car too hard you should be able to get 11-12s. I changed all my brakes, but I could have got away with getting the stock rotors machined for about $20. But I would expect issues with radiators, brakes wearing out, etc are par for the course on a 10 year car, depending on how it's been treated. Good luck with the search! Expect pics when its done! Personally, my criteria were twin sunroofs, TV, and preferred the aero kit and got all three. Have a look around and you should be able to find exactly what you want!
  5. Black C34 on Stebonheath Road this morning, about 7.30.
  6. Been keen on black for a while, but found some cheap carbon. It's going to be, umm, interesting trying to get it on thats for sure.
  7. You finally joined Davey! Welcome to Stagea ownership! Still enjoying it?
  8. Troy has a good point. PNM35 might be a better bet, newer interior and non-turbo. Turbo is really the only major issue I can think of. Budget ~$800 for a high flowed rebuild plus labour. Craig (Jetwreck) on the forums can help you with the labour - PM him for a price. Mine has some failed power window motors that I need to fix, and some have an issue with an small oil leak that I'm sure those afflicted can detail. Everything else is as you'd expect for a 10 year old car.
  9. I'm looking at doing my roof this weekend for a laugh. Will be interesting to see the result. The vinyl can be had so cheap these days try it and see what you think? It's only about ~$50 for enough vinyl to cover the roof.
  10. I just love that they sent Volvo to help a Stagea owner!
  11. I've got a Freeway Dolphin one I got off YAJ - http://www.freeway-dolphin.co.jp/dolphin-r/tower/dolphin-r_tower.htm
  12. I'll have another look and see how I go. Alex, didn't turn the car on. Went in and paid, came back and saw the pool. Disconnected the fuel pump power, cranked the motor, then reconnected the hoses with no fuel pressure. Reconnected the power, started no worries. Car is running fine. Just the fuel lines.
  13. Yep - if he's got half the setup he's promised it should be pretty impressive, so I'd like to hear something contributed back, see what he's done and what we can all learn!
  14. The plastic clip lock fittings don't appear to hold the hose properly. There's a clip to hold the two plastic parts together, but doesn't appear to be anything to hold the hose onto the plastic fitting?
  15. Mark that down. Other mods aren't really required, but the fuel gives you an idea. What % extra does E85 give you over normal, non cheater fuel?
  16. Went to fill up today for the first time since doing the pump. Hadn't driven the car too much since really. As soon as I'd finished filling up fuel started pissing out of the bottom of the car. Since I hadn't finished the ground wires yet, the back seat wasn't in, so I opened up the tank cover to have a look at what was going on. Both fuel lines looked like they'd blown off, or at least half off, and fuel fuel was running down the side of the tank. Not heaps, but enough to create a decent sized puddle underneath the car. Pushed the fuel lines back on and good as new. The fuel gauge is still reading full, so I'm guessing it didn't loose much. My uneducated, non-mechanic suggestion is that the higher fuel pressure from the new pump is responsible, so I'll throw a couple of hose clamps on for good measure. Next weekend I'm going to try and install the adjustable FPR and adjust the fuel pressure back down to stock until I get it tuned. It's running really rich, and economy is up about 1-2L/100 (Normally get 12-13L/100, now sitting at 14+L/100). Also keen to try and get the wideband on now and see what the AFRs are at before and after adjusting the FPR.
  17. Need some note of fuels next to power figures these days... Scotty and Sky_rkt are both running E85 I think?
  18. Hi all. For sale is a brand new HKS Turbo Timer - Type 0. Black. Impulse buy, not required. $50 ono. Will post at buyers expense. I think it'll be ~$10 express. More details on the HKS web site: http://www.hks-power...imer/index.html
  19. Hey Dust, weren't you running an Fcon? How did it go? Are you looking at setting up custom manifolds and stuff instead of a highflow?
  20. Saw this and thought of your front end plans... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/skyline-v35-g35-GTR-style-front-bumper-bar-carbon-fiber-front-underlip-/130705038927?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e6ea09e4f#ht_3290wt_1180 Might be easier to buy and cut up?
  21. ^^ what he said. Look for pictures of Jetwreck's fat whale and Aaron's old car. Both lowered AR-Xs. They actually look pretty good. Nigel is the WA contact for translation (http://www.xanavi.com.au/Xanavi/Xanavi_Language.html), but don't hold your breath for Australian discs. Enjoy the car!
  22. Thats right. You mentioned that the other day. Fuel hose is 8ishmm on the Stagea or the 180?
  23. I'm just going to get hose barb ends. I think stock fuel hose on these is 6mm. You connecting yours direct to the fuel rail?
  24. Thanks Paul. Should be a bit easier with the gauge on
