  1. Mine looks exactly the same. Need to get it done soon I guess, no problems so far.
  2. Yep. Seems to work well, but I guess you need the adjustment depending on the alignment of other components and how worn they are, so you can adjust to the right deg and set and forget. Mine isn't getting driven at the moment, just too much on, but next month I'll be replacing the rubber and getting it realigned, because while it feels good I'm not happy with the alignment. Rubber is stuffed, and camber worn, so it still pulls no matter what the alignment guys do.
  3. No one that I know of, but I think it was import_zone who had the error reader?
  4. Is the bigger Hypergear core more expensive and laggy compared to Leon's?
  5. Invos are still ~$200 if you look hard enough, but Tempe are out of stock sadly. They only have 2 left. By the time you need another set Leon they'll probably be back in stock!
  6. Thanks mate, much appreciated. I think DBA do a 5000 series T3 multi piece rotor for 370Zs - worth looking into.
  7. I'd also advise some kind of paint protection - maybe some of that clear stuff for the front bar and bonnet? I've got some pretty average stone chips after my last Adelaide-Melbourne trip.
  8. Put the number plate in the bottom of the bar Craig - looks horrendous there!
  9. Nice placement Leon, that's where I was hoping to fit the wideband. Have you got some better close up pics?
  10. Check the audio section. They'll know.
  11. Check Ebay. I bought a couple of packs on there.
  12. Somewhat disappointing Leon, but as you say, hopefully it's worth the wait. Changing the boost gauge... what boost are you planning on running when it's done?
  13. Out around turn 4 I found fine. Shannons Nationals had been through the day before, and the track was well rubbered in. Should see the amount picked up by my tyres! I should also add someone had gone straight on after turn 4 and hit the wall, and the two big black tyre marks heading off the road certainly was interesting... I found the turn 1-2 combo the most interesting. Significantly harder than it looks! You should join up and take the 180SX out next time!
  14. Nah I softed out Leon. It's got a big banana shaped straight where I probably should have hit speed cut. Every time I lifted my foot at some point through it just because I had no confidence in the car after a couple of earlier... umm... mishaps. Main thing for me was driving within my limits, first time out there, and in the first session had a spin and a minor overshoot. Would rather back off and be able to drive home than go 10/10ths and need to call a tow truck... Highest I saw on the speedo (when I had time to look!) was 150-160. This should give you an idea:
  15. With you there mate. Why spend $3-4k on wheels then put the cheapest chinese rubbish you can find on them?
  16. Nope, you're right Craig. Treadbars ftw! :-P Needs moar grip. Dom - you going to come out when yours turns up?
  17. Some pics of the white whale (Moby Dick?) at the SAUSA track day from Luke Terbeeke... For more pics from the track day... http://luke-terbeeke-media.smugmug.com/Other/SAUSA-Track-Day-April-16th/22549905_v5wNVK#!i=1804571465&k=Stt7p2g
  18. Hey mate, perhaps post it in the general for sale section, and in the V35 section? You probably won't find many M35 owners in AU looking for one, we're all running VQ25DETs or VQ35s.
  19. Funny, they look very similar to one of the options that's been recommended to me: http://www.silverstone.com.my/default.aspx#1335014624625 They're also very cheap, and I've seen a well driven STi running them mix it with race cars on semis at a hillclimb. Definitely worth spending money to get decent tyres, but I think as with most things you get to a point where there are negligible gains under normal road conditions.
  20. Lol yeah I got that impression from some of the guys running them at the track day Monday on a much lighter car. Not sure on the treadwear of the KU36, but just found the AD-08s are 180! Last about 5 minutes!
  21. lol. Thanks Jas. saw it while I was writing that post. Cheers!
  22. Thanks guys. Kumhos are on the list, after driving with no grip Monday I'm looking more at a KU36 now than a KU31, but you have to compromise somewhere. I just don't have time to swap between tyres just for a track days Was also looking at the Hankook Ventus RS-3, Yoko AD-08 and the Nittos, depends on what is available in my size and what I can get the best deal on. Leon: No idea on treadwear on the Hankooks - it isn't on their web site but I suspect they'd be pretty soft. Already convinced on the bigger size - all good! Which crosses the Hankooks off but makes the Yokies look interesting. Tempe don't have Invos in that size at the moment, but there is someone in Australia doing them for $200 each, and someone else at $333 - dreaming. I'll make some calls and see how I go.
  23. I think Royal Purple do a group 4 and a group 5, and the group 4 is the one most readily available (my local Autobarn has it). Changed mine before the track day for Valvoline SynPower 10W50 - no issues. Once I find my spare bottle of 300v, I'll be doing a post track day change, then looking to try something else.
  24. Good feedback Leon. I was looking at the Hankooks - my tyre guy was highly recommending them, but couldn't guarantee wear. Only issue is I want a 245/45R18, and the closes Hankook do is a 245/40R18. Where did you get the Nittos from? I need new tyres ASAP, I just over research things like that before making a decision. But after the track day Monday I want something fairly sticky.
  25. Masa bonnet Jase? Still need to get those fog lights to you! F-con... going full hog, sensors etc?
