  1. Check the 'what have you done to your Stagea' thread - I posted up some pics of mine, after I put in Narva 100 spotlights, replacing broken Cibie's. If I had my time again, it looks like LEDs might be a viable option these days?
  2. No worries! Also, while I remember, you *can* buy a replacement intake from Freeway Dolphin, but its only the top part. I have it on good authority you really need to go straight off the turbo, so mine will be getting redone soon. Since you're in Vic, hit up Scotty and see if you can run round there and get him to do it?
  3. Yeah, looks like a good bit of gear! I didn't know until I saw it on there! Iron Chef has three different ones on there. One is a SR20DE, but the really interesting one is the N1 with SR16VE. Neo VVT 1.6L 4 cylinder with 142kW? Yes please! http://www.ironchefimports.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=432&Itemid=30
  4. Greddy Informeter does speed, so I guess you can pick it up from the OBDII plug?
  5. Ball breaking? Hardly! Looks harder than it really is! Pull the glovebox off, and then open the white horizontal door. Just be REALLY REALLY careful, as it's very easy to break the white tab on the door. Pretty quick, easy job, but the first time you pull it all apart it looks like it'll take hours! Good luck, and DON'T BREAK THE TAB! Like I did...
  6. CEL = Check Engine Light. In terms of the little mods, check out m35stagea.info - you'll find a few more how tos and a bit more information there. Intake pipe is restrictive, there is no 'replacement' per se, you have to get something made. I think Scotty makes something? I'm getting something made locally. Have a read of the other forum and you should find a few things. Really depends on what you want to do with the car!
  7. Nup, N15... http://www.ironchefimports.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=461&Itemid=30
  8. That hurts man! R31 was a great car, and we did everything and went everywhere with it! Never under estimate the R31!
  9. SAUSA track day today at Mallala. First session was shit. Two offs, one due to tyres through turn two, and one when the Trans wouldn't shift down. from there on it was awesome. Car was relatively trouble free, despite the shitty tyres. Brakes were awesome, but front wheels were covered in dust, rears clean. Only real issue was the Trans. By the end of the day the 'manual' mode wouldn't shift down at all, but it was fine in Drive. I'm guessing shift kit and Trans cooler will fix this? Anyone with one, does it actually shift when you tell it? I also had issues with the shitty GPS timing app I was using. Best time it recorded was 1:36.5, which doesn't seem too bad for a first attempt. Tyres, shift kit and F-con before next time!
  10. Black M35 with Kenstyle kit and bronze TE37s (or replicas?) at On the Run Davoren Park - not sure if the owner works there? Nice looking car, but makes me glad I don't have a black one. Looks like a nightmare to keep clean!
  11. Are you still going Hypergear rebuild Leon? Did my final prep for the SAUSA track day today - replaced the oil and filter, fitted a power steering cooler and replaced the fluid. Also noticed that I've got a set of semi slicks on the car - once the car was up on the hoist noticed the rears are almost on the tread bars, so will be replacing shortly. Couple of things do to now, replace the drivers side inner CV boot and replace tyres (and upgrade to 18" wheels), before I get back to upgrades.
  12. My first car was the worst of the N13s, the 1.6. Manual though, and I had a great time in it! These days, get an N13 SSS, or one of those N15 Autech's that iron chef is bringing in. you'll have a great time and it'll be cheaper to fix. Car I miss the most is still my R31 though. :-(
  13. Cheers Iain. Do you know offhand what size the hose is? Thanks!
  14. How often are they dying?
  15. Can anyone who has installed a power steering cooler tell me where the best place is to connect the cooler? Anything fancy that's required or just replace fluid at the same time? Hasn't been replaced yet, figure I can use the Valvoline auto trans fluid I've got left.
  16. Sounds right. He was doing free delivery when I got mine if you bought fronts and rears.
  17. I thought boost worx were doing the shift kit? Nice number though!
  18. 350Z Touring. Greg at GSL Rallysport knows the right part numbers, just hit him up for some pads.
  19. Cheap option when you get bored of them. Cheaper than buying new ones!
  20. Nice. White wheels on a black car are a surprisingly good look.
  21. More F-cons, love it! You in Aus or NZ? Getting MAP sensor and temp sensor fitted too? I really need to get mine installed...
  22. Yeah but I figured if it was cheap enough it'd be handy to be able to log and clear CELs just like that! I still need to clear that stupid airbag light. Maybe this weekend. I'd come to you Alex, but, well, you're a long way away!
  23. Now you've gone too far!
  24. It does specifically say Nissan, Infiniti and Renault, which makes me think it could work? Can you get some kind of guarantee on it?
