Not yet - still have to work it out. Iain thinks he knows, I'll see if I can work it out. -
What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
bigkevracer replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Took some shots of the spotlights tonight, just as it started to get dark. I actually like them now, I think I prefer the slightly smaller lights. You can see I still need to finish cleaning the silicon... Lights on! For those interested, the lights are Narva 100mm spotlights with a HID conversion kit I got on ebay. Pretty easy to mount in the end, you just have to remove the Cibie glass so you can reuse the mounting hardware. Narva lights were ~$70 for the pair, and the H3 HID kit was ~$35. My only issue now, as per the other thread, is Nissan don't allow the fog lights and high beams to be on at the same time. So according to Iain I need to wire up a diode and relay to fix this. Can go on the list! -

M35 Fog Light Parts
bigkevracer replied to bigkevracer's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Yeah thats what I figured. You don't happen to know where they need to go do they? I guess fog lights and high beams on at the same time doesn't happen. But who drives around with spotlights and no high beam? If you need spotlights, you probably need high beam. Oh, and these are SOLD. -
Cable throttle? What are you doing about engine management? Scotty, what was your issue with tuning the cams? Wouldn't work, or wouldn't work with Emanage/Vmanage/etc? Would you get around this by running a PS2000 or something else?

M35 Fog Light Parts
bigkevracer replied to bigkevracer's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Turned out ok actually. Only thing I have to do now is work out how to rewire them - the standard wiring won't allow high beams and 'fog lights' on at the same time. I moved the car into a more picture friendly spot this morning, I'll get some tonight. I think it looks pretty good, but it does need some tidying another day. Just to try and clean all the silicon out. I have had a PM already, but I'll let you know. -

Got the cruise sorted, finally! Works great, thanks to Leon for sorting and all the help. Probably just need to turn the gain down at some point I think. Also got the other fog light switched over to spotlight with HID. Looks great, and very happy to have matching lights again. Looks much better matching. Was thinking about adding squid rings to fill the gap between old and the smaller new lights, but can't find anything with the right ID. Don't think it matters for now. Next project is fuel pump while I wait for the SuperPro bushes and camber bolts to turn up. Can't wait to get a wheel alignment - pulled one of the rears off on the weekend and the inside edge is all feathered. New wheels and tyres go on as soon as it's been aligned! -
Stagea M35 Screen Anyone Know If This Is Standard ?
bigkevracer replied to suthernrx's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Sorry Lee, you need the Xanavi DVD Rom, not a Clarion one. You probably never had the Xanavi one with that setup. If you're looking for data, I'd suggest a Carputer or HKS CAMP2? See how you go, and have a look in the SAU Audio section. -
Hi all. Replaced my fog lights with spotlights, so have some spares that might be useful to others. I have... 2x Cibie reflectors with bulbs etc 1 x Cibie glass lens Note that I have NO mounting hardware at all, but this would be useful if you have a broken fog light and you can reuse your existing mounting gear. Also have two H3 bulbs and wiring from the new spotlights, as I put a HID conversion kit in. Not sure what its worth. Beer?

Those T20s are bloody massive - might be what Dunc was talking about. This kind of thing: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/T20-Amber-Front-Indicator-Blinker-Lexus-ES300-2001-2009-/320644252369?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aa7e302d1#ht_5621wt_922 Similar fittings...

Superpro Group Buy For V35 Skylines And M35 Stageas

Received payment now for all bar one person. As soon as the final payment is received order will be processed. Thanks to all those who've paid so far! -
My understanding was they didn't have to run pushrods. They could run DOHC as long as they had equivalent performance. Think there was a 5L capacity requirement though?

If you guys have them accessible, can you just grab the part number? I think Aaron just needs to double check he has the right dash first. -

Which scan tool did you order Michael? Got my cruise control programmed tonight, very easy really. Leon's instructions are amazing, used Dale's ground wire idea and the Marvey Tech speed wire. Pretty happy with myself! If I set it the car accelerates quite hard when you hit set, from 80 to 90, as an example. Just have to adjust the gain apparently. Will do this tomorrow then wire up the steering wheel buttons. I do have an airbag fault light now. Looks like I forgot to push the black clip back in the first time, but it was still in when I pulled it apart again. Fingers crossed it will clear itself now that I've pushed it in, like a CEL. Thanks to Leon for all his help! -
To those who've rewired their fuel pump, where did you run the wiring from the battery into the cabin? I was looking at it today and thinking the easiest way would be to drill a hole in the side of the duct where the cabin air filter is, and put a rubber grommet in. Most obvious place anyway...

Superpro Group Buy For V35 Skylines And M35 Stageas
bigkevracer replied to bigkevracer's topic in Group Buys
Thanks Brad. Money received from the majority, and I have a couple of PMs to reply to in the morning. If you want to start a group buy for Nolathane, this isn't the thread to do it. Everyone here has ordered and paid for (or is about to pay for) the SuperPro option. You're not going about this the right way, and you're also breaking the forum rules. Please stop spamming this thread. -
