I've been thinking for a while about removing my single DIN DVD player and single DIN factory gauge pods and replacing them both with a nice 2DIN headunit. Basics I need are simple, and covered by about everything on the market, so I'm not worried about that. But as I'm about to setup my HKS Fcon V Pro, I was looking at getting a HKS CAMP2, and the interface cable into the Fcon to use the extra sensors I've already got for that, and display the CAMP2 data on the headunit screen. The issue I've got is I'd like to be able to pass a second video source out to the other screens I've got in the car. This might be my TV tuner, DVD, anything. The Clarion I've got in the car at the moment has the TV tuner connected to its input, and my three screens (factory and two headrest) are run out of the one output on the back into a video distribution block. Most of what I'm talking about is easy - but is there a headunit that will let me have one input on the headunit screen, and a different input on the other screens? Has anyone got this setup? Thanks!

Epic thread from the dead... Did anyone ever get around to putting together a list of what all the bulbs are on these things? Couldn't find it on the Awesome forum (or is that Skoda forum now?), easier to know what they are BEFORE you take them apart. Cheers!

FYI Got a response back from JP NZ today, they're still working on the C34 Service Manual before they start work on the M35 one. So don't hold your breath...

What's that worth to get done Scotty? -
I've got a Clarion VZ400A headunit, and the other day I had the battery disconnected. When I reconnected it, the headunit prompted me to enter the anti-theft PIN. First couple didn't work - even though I was sure I had it right, and next thing I know I'm locked out. Clarion tell me I have to send it to them, and it'll cost me $118 plus the cost of shipping it to them. No one local in Adelaide can do it apparently. My local repairer is following up and will let me know if they find anything. Does anyone know if there's an alternative? The deck was only ~$400 anyway, not sure I want to spend over 1/4 of that just to reset it. Surely there is something I can do myself? Any experience, thoughts, suggestions, etc would be great. Thanks!

Hi James. People are really happy to help around here if you do a search first, as this has been covered a lot. But here goes... Sat nav won't work. The end. You need an Australian map disk that doesn't exist apparently. You can translate the screen to English. Visit www.xanavi.com.au to find someone near you (you don't say where you're from?). You can run TV. There are a few tuners available. PM Commsman (Leon) and see if he has any left, otherwise the Xanavi translaters might have one. The glovebox DVD player is required to run the sat-nav, screen, etc. Not sure if it can be removed and you still output to the screen? Best bet is to replace your head unit with something that does MP3s, AVIs, DivX, iPod, etc.

M35 Cruise Control And Trip Computer
bigkevracer replied to Aaron S's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Aaron, there were two (or at least two) versions of the cluster. One for cars with the TV screen, one for those without. If you've got a cluster for a car without the TV screen, it won't display the economy data, just stars. If you've got the right cluster, economy data will work fine. I think the part numbers are on here if you want them, I know the Nismo one is. Otherwise I'll pick up my spare cluster tonight and get you the part number. -
Weird. I'd buy a full workshop manual. But $60 for an owners manual seems a bit steep.

M35 Stagea Replacement Radiator
bigkevracer replied to Mattl2's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Pretty sure thats what Jase has in his, and it required a fair bit of cutting to fit. Heard that about the 2.5L versions Iain, but are the cores the same size? BTW what's this 'ours' buddy? Already looking at upgrading to a PM35? -
Why would you want to? The Turbosmart Dual Port I have on mine is supposed to be able to be set up so that it recirculates below 17PSI, and vents to atmo above 17PSI. Pretty sure your AFM would have a shitfit if you set it up like that, unless you we're running a MAP sensor instead.
-
Probably not. Says "Owners Manual" not "Service manual". I'd have to have a look at whats in it before I'm prepared to buy one. I'm not sure I even need an owners manual.

PWR was 'on sale' for ~$90. Funny thing was, he told me to go and look at the PWR web site, but the one he was talking to me about wasn't on there... Nismo PM35 cooler is only a couple of inches longer. I don't think it'll have to be too big. My biggest concern was issues from it being too big. Nah, I'm more interested in getting something new. Probably this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130481576673?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 -
