  1. Been looking around at power steering coolers. Not keen on running a second hand one, rather just buy a new core and be done with it. Figured I'd try the local guy, in my case Repco, and see what they had available. First guy at Repco wants to know what the particular car is, then can't find one in his computer. Apparently Repco don't carry the stock power steering cooler for an M35... Then I tell him to stop looking for that particular one, and just a generic one, he passes me onto a second guy, who first thinks I'm asking for a power steering 'core', and then tells me he works on race cars and no cars come out standard with factory power steering coolers. Then when I correct him, he starts back peddling. After treating me like an idiot, then tells me he can get PWR, and quotes me an outrageous price on it. And these people wonder why we shop online/overseas...
  2. Informeter includes basic reading doesnt it? Pretty sure I read that somewhere, but you can't use it to clear them.
  3. Doesn't matter Leon, they'll use it as an excuse to deny any future claims if they find out. Always had a low opinion on the insurance industry, its worse now that woman has been telling me stories...
  4. I've had an offer from SuperPro to ship to everyone direct. Cost is $16 for a 3kg overnight airbag. Since everyone so far is in Adelaide I don't think it's worth it, but if you'd prefer yours shipped direct let me know.
  5. Didn't you lose your licence? Did you get it back? Bad luck man. You still got the stock suspension?
  6. I emailed Dolphin, no reply. I got Jesse Streeter to get in touch with them for me and got a reply within a day or so. That said, the bonnets are discontinued, not sure if the other body parts they did are also discontinued? Worth checking out.
  7. Looks like you're right. I heard the issue is run off. Since AIR has been off the calendar, the minimum run off distance has been increased, so unless they change the rules back, they can't run the Pro Series over the 1/4 mile. Not sure if that causes an issue with street drags though, but they ran the last meet over 1/8 mile.
  8. We do - Someone has taken over AIR. ANDRA Pro Series has been announced to be coming back, and there are a couple of street meets coming up.
  9. Cheers Dale, should be good. Can't wait to get everything fitted and FINALLY get a damn wheel alignment!
  10. Good idea. Top times per track would be good, because can't see me cutting too many laps of Wakefield/Eastern Creek any time soon. Mallala will be a start. Or... Drag day where we have to run with 'sofas and shit' in the back of our wagons?
  11. You can do it, but you have to run the cables from the head unit all the way back to the stock TV tuner. Brad (Ducati02) did mine, you could PM him and ask. Not sure if there is a tutorial. It's not plug and play. He had to make connectors to interface with the stock TV tuner. I have a similar setup to you, TV playing on the stock screen, and two headrest monitors for the back seats. All works perfect.
  12. Lol. SA will probably... hopefully... be on E85. But won't quite be up to you guys, still be on a standard turbo for a while.
  13. It does bolt to the factory snorkle, so not a huge difference. Will look at going 3" straight through as the next step. Won't max out ID1000s, and with a MAP sensor, what AFM cut?
  14. Pic of the shiny new intake pipe... Also pulled the Nismo dash out and reseated it. A LOT easier once you remove the indicator and wiper stalks. Tried to install the cruise control. Unfortunately someone previously has tried to remove the air bag bolts and snapped the head off the right hand side bolt (closest to drivers door). Hopefully good old dad to the rescue either tomorrow night or Thursday morning, to get an easy out onto it and remove it. Hopefully after that fit the cruise control on Thursday, and do the very exciting job of replacing the wiper blades on the weekend. Might even wash it!
  15. I may have missed this Alex, but are you running any form of boost control on it? Or are you just tuning via the ECU?
  16. Depends on model, mods, tune, driving style, etc. You want this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/167866-stagea-fuel-economy/page__hl__stagea+fuel+consumption
  17. PMs have gone. Please let me know if you missed out/didn't get yours. Thanks!
  18. It seems to work out better on shipping if we do it that way Leon - freight is the same regardless of where it goes unless someone else picks them up. If a polar bear has a nasty cough, then other animals will hear it coming, and will be able to run away. So think not about how we may give polar bears a cough, but more about how we're saving the penguins from polar bears!
  19. Done. Make sure you fit them though!

  21. Put you down Andrew. I may be able to sort something out with the press - I'll check and let you know. $70 PER SIDE? Can you PM me who that was? That's ridiculous!

  23. There are a few M35 guys looking for SuperPro bushes, so I've started a group buy... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/389161-superpro-group-buy-for-v35-skylines-and-m35-stageas/ SuperPro list M35 Stagea under V35 Skyline, so they'll fit your cars too. Mine are fairly worn, so I'm sure others are too. Eccentric bushes let you introduce more caster too. Win! If you have any questions please let me know.
  24. Group buy is on! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/389161-superpro-group-buy-for-v35-skylines-and-m35-stageas/ Had to raise prices by a dollar or two each - forgot to factor in freight... Anyone has any questions, please let me know.
  25. You're just lucky, had to replace mine the week before Christmas! I went through Main North Nissan - didn't have any stock, but got it overnight.
