  1. If you're just running them off your head unit I'm sure those would be fine Dunc. Otherwise I'd look at a low end set of Kenwood/Alpine/Pioneer.
  2. So he was at fault too? Great... Oh and btw you can have a lift with me if you ever get nostalgic for a Stag cruise. Unless of course you decide to upgrade to an M35 and drive yourself instead?
  3. What alternative are you going to have that's $300 anyway? It'd be this or BCs, and $400 is a hell of a lot cheaper than $1300.
  4. You stripping it back anyway, even though it's running?
  5. I don't think there was any flaming, just those outside of SA don't know Jase, but have dealt with Dale. For those with M35s it's worth looking at those HD brackets, or making up your own if you can?
  6. And they're very nice and shiny. I wouldn't know if they're necessary or not, but they're a lot beefier, and I have no complaints at all. I think Dale makes them himself out of stainless?
  7. It's air con, but isn't it just condensation? Mine does it, didn't think it was anything to worry about.
  8. Standard boost isn't 1bar either, it's 13PSI on an RS/RX and ~15PSI on an AR-X/AXIS I believe. Matt, did you try locking the diffs? That always shows torque being driven to the front wheels when I do it. Other than that mine never moved until I did the exhaust, and now it always dances around corners But still no movement in a straight line, unless I lock them.
  9. I've got room but I can't justify the coin at the moment. Surely someone on here will pick it up?
  10. No, you can ditch the POS Bose system. Your options are: 1. Remove Bose, order new fascia, fit new fascia and new deck. 2. Fix Bose, install band expander. What you can't do is remove the Bose, and cut the existing fascia to fit a new deck. If you do that your air con won't work. That's why you need the new fascia, it gives you the air con control circuitry.
  11. Sorry, read this and I didn't post. Have you got the indicators in your mirrors? I had similar behaviour from mine when I picked it up from the alarm installer, ended up they'd knocked the wiring for the mirrors, and because they're scotch locked into the main harness the scotch lock had cut through the wiring. Wiring is down in the drivers footwell, behind the panel forward of the door. Not sure if that's what it is, but worth checking. It was flashing fast all the time and I had no indicators in the left hand side, but the LEDs in the mirrors did.
  12. You can't cut the plastic cover? I'm somewhat interested, but I can't find the run through from last time you did the group buy - am I just not searching properly? It's not on here or the 'somewhat awesome' forum as far as I can tell?
  13. Cool cruise Jase, thanks to all that turned up. About time 35s outnumbered 34s! Cracker roads though, just a shame about some of the crazy traffic. I'm interested in a Lobethal lights if everyone else is, but I have no idea what date works. I'm fairly busy getting towards Christmas unfortunately.
  14. PMs sent. If anyone else needs the info please let me know.
  15. Now you know what it's like for us to go to the South cruises...
  16. Thats cool Jase, like you said, you can't please everyone. I didn't enjoy that bit, others did. Each to their own. Look forward to this, let's get a meet point sorted. How many are keen for a Sunday cruise?
  17. Probably... isn't that your car? Watch the video above and buy the fascia. Don't cut the stock one, that'd be a nightmare!
  18. Look forward to it Dale, I have to get mine in still. 3 hours sounds good!
  19. Thats the Bose. Order the above fascia.
  20. Depends on how stupid you want to be. You can't be too stupid on an open public road at any time. If you're doing it this weekend pick a time and meet point and see how many can turn up. I should be right, I'll probably give it a go anyway. As long as we don't have more 40/80/40/80/40/80 baulking/accelerating sessions, I'm happy.
  21. Hey Pom, try these links: http://www.sound-repair.com/index.php/infiniti-g35-03-05-stereo-removal-instructions/ Hopefully that clears it up! I'm crap at describing!
  22. Must be something about 60 year old bosses... mine does the same thing. We call them "Boom boom" jokes!
  23. Yours had the Bose, right? You need the G35 facia with the climate control settings on it. I think this is it, but if you search you'll find the right thing: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2003-2004-INFINITI-G35-SINGLE-DOUBLE-DIN-RADIO-DASH-KIT-WIRE-HARNESS-ANT-SILVER-/400244842089?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d30739e69#ht_3336wt_1162 That way you can fit any head unit. I was lucky, my RS has the three gauges and a single DIN stereo, changing the stereo was easy!
  24. Last I heard it was getting parted out because he spat the dummy...?
  25. The last cruise had too much traffic. Start time was pushed back to avoid Christmas pagents, but we still had epic traffic to deal with. I'd want to start at about 10, but I could do 11.30.
