  1. Dunc has the Kenstyle, but I think thats only because it was on the car when he bought it. I'm really happy with the factory Aero kit. I don't think it needs anything else (except a wing, which mine didn't have until I added the Nismo wing). Freeway Dolphin do kits too. Anyway, back on topic, why the sale?
  2. I called up my local Nissan dealer today for some pricing. Fuel filter at trade was $35. I thought that was ok. Ball joints I wasn't prepared for. Nissan wouldn't sell me the ball joints on their own, I had to buy a spindle. FOR $806 PER SIDE! $1600 FOR BALL JOINTS?!?! So I'll be ordering them from ebay shortly, where they're around $62 for a pair. Thanks to Dale for his help in confirming the 350Z/V35 ones will fit. On the plus side, at least Main North Nissan would look up parts for an import. I was all ready to ask for 350Z bits and started with the import bit just in case. Looked it up, easy!
  3. Pfft. I'll go as high as $4! Why do you want to sell it anyway? Sounds like you're still modding it, and you like it, so I'm confused?!
  4. Why selling? You talked about it before, but why now? All I remember of your mods is you're running Scotts old setup with ~600cc injectors, gas injection and silk roads. I guess at the end of the day your car is only worth what people are willing to pay... Might get more if you put it back to stock and sell the parts?
  5. Most people won't tell you that online. My insurance company didn't reduce my premium because I told them it had an alarm when I got insurance (it did - the stock Nissan one - I didn't realise it wasn't Aus standards approved). Spend enough on an Australian standards approved alarm (Auto watch, Cyclops, Mongoose, etc) and you'll be fine. Expect to pay $400-500 fitted for a decent one.
  6. You selling? Whats your mod list again?
  7. I think north east is Marvey Tech? SAUSA members get a discount. Also get a discount at Auto Perfection, but I haven't been happy with them at all.
  8. You can, but looking at the flow graphs you get much more flow at the higher voltage. Seems like all aftermarket pumps are recommended to be hard wired. Bob, there are a few people doing hard wiring kits, including Deatschwerks and Aeromotive. I did see that. Interesting. My tuner doesn't seem to care, as long as he gets the latency info, which will save a heap of time. Leaning towards the ID1000s, just looking at pricing. Are the Bosch EV14 1000cc injectors the same as the ID1000s? I've seen a couple of sites referring to them as "Bosch ID1000" or "Bosch EV14 ID1000". Also are you running the 11mm or 14mm ID1000s? And which length (48mm or 60mm)?
  9. Lots of goodies arrived yesterday. HKS Fcon and harness, bonnet struts (thanks Cam!) and Deatschwerks pump. I had one issue with the bonnet strut installation - bit hard to install when someone steals your drill! And here I thought everything was included... One question to people who've installed a fuel pump, Walbro etc: Do you buy a wiring kit or do you just go to Jaycar and buy all the bits outlined in the million and one how to guides? Still need to order a fuel filter before I install it, and talk to the tuner about injectors. And settle on a tuner, I still have a couple of options.
  10. I'm in marketing (and social media ), so close.
  11. What? I'm confused?
  12. Northshore are an importer, not just a compliance shop. And AFAIK they paid a tonne of cash to be able to comply PM35s, so they're pretty much keeping it to themselves. But Iron Chef would know whats going on in the industry.
  13. Give Iron Chef or Northshore a call. I'm sure they'd be up to date and let you know if they've got the paperwork in, and where its at.
  14. Don't think series one is, but the series two PM35 should be.
  15. Well my thinking is it might be designed for the car and easier to bolt in... Now I'm thinking M35s won't have the mounting point those kits are relying on! Cheers for the heads up... will check it out!
  16. I think the Nismo looks a little longer, but I can't see why that V35 one wouldn't suffice. Is that the standard V35/PM35 cooler? Have you had it on a track?
  17. Exactly what Craig found too. Solution: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=479&Car_Type=350Z&UID=20111124012321121.45.143.101 There are cheaper solutions (much cheaper), but it's shiny and has Nismo on it. Stillen do one too which looks pretty good. I actually ordered one of these through g35parts.com a while ago but their system failed, order didn't get placed, they took a month of nagging to get back to my email and tell me what was going on before telling me it was a 2 month wait to get one. I'm actually thinking of putting an order in with Concept Z shortly if you're interested? I was a bit worried when you said the Stag was wounded, but no big deal! What brakes are you running, out of interest?
  18. I heard Craig was buying a 200SX...
  19. If you drive around in manual a lot why don't you try Aaron and Scotty's unlock mod? Its on here somewhere if you search, or I've got it bookmarked at home. Makes the cooler work all the time, even when it's in manual mode. I'm looking at doing it when I get the shift kit and trans cooler in.
  20. Bought a wideband, Innovate MTX-L, and got some HKS sensors coming over with a Nismo thermostat from Jesse. Car is about to get some HKS lovin' If I can get my soldering iron fixed might even get the cruise control kit in over the next week!
  21. Depends how much you buy into that comparison a couple of pages back. PLX was one of the most inaccurate widebands in that comparison. Kit looks sexy though, I'll admit. Still looking at the MTX-L. Haven't been able to find anything bad about the new range, seems all the negatives are written about the older Innovate gear.
  22. Yep the GT2 Pro kit is the same. I saw it after I bought mine. Go for it!
  23. Talking about photos not allowed now for some reason?
  24. I'm talking about the tray under the main floor, on top of the spare wheel well. I have heaps of crap on that. Have to compromise on something if I want a sub though Pete hasn't done an M35 one yet so I'm sure he can make it however you need, most M35 owners will want something fairly practical I think?
  25. I knew someone had to do it...
