  1. To take this back on topic.. The people who actually TURNED UP to the cruise on Sunday talked about this in the motor museum car park Jase! And yes, Pete can do it. I'm not sure if I want one like that, because I think I'd loose that plastic tray where I store heaps of little, loose crap. So do we need a poll or are we looking at the 10th?
  2. Why would you have to relocate the tuner? I haven't even thought about looking at mine since it went in. Passenger side ftw!
  3. I've got a Greddy, but it doesn't seem to be a proper oil/air separator. You've got me looking for a replacement now...
  4. Hey Mark, how do you get on with the cops? I have no intentions of doing anything stupid, however I don't really need a defect station going over my car with a fine tooth comb... If that's all good, then I might be tempted out, depending on work.
  5. Interesting. Is it really necessary though? Just curious... What did you get?
  6. As an aside, I'm now about $350 short of cracking the $1k worth of Movember donations. I know theres heaps of people asking for donations, but if you haven't donated I'd really appreciate a donation or two. You can donate here: http://mobro.co/bigkevracer My uncle has prostate cancer, and I lost a friend to depression, so both of these are important issues that are important to me. So I appreciate every donation that might come through!
  7. No Paul, the keyboard warrior remark wasn't aimed at you, but do a search, and you'll find plenty... It is unlikely now that I'll be highflowing my turbo, but I'll probably replace it instead. I'd expect to replace the dump. I don't take it as a personal attack, but I like Andrew. He's honest, his handiwork is top notch, and I've seen and felt the results. When you say his dumps are "no good", I feel the need to defend because I've seen, known and tested. Results are all good.
  8. There's a thread on here with his design. Looks tops in the back of the car, he was showing it off on the weekend. And they're looking for an NM35 to mould off...
  9. Well calling it 'no good' is bagging them really. Having a look around, theres no solid evidence online. It's all keyboard warriors arguing because a mate of a mate told them to buy one or the other. My conclusion from what I've just read is that it comes down to who makes it and how it's made rather than the basis of the design. A well made, quality split design is just as good if not better with the stock turbo. When you change the turbo, sell the dump and upgrade. Not too hard. Since I did my dump, I make an extra 30kW, turbo spools up shitloads earlier (~2.5k rpm), and I saw fuel economy gains. I really don't believe I'd get any more out of a slightly different design of dump.
  10. Hardtuned Xmas Cruise? Saw that. Got Copbait written all over it... Pub meal and picnic both sound ok with me. I'm sure theres a local chicken shop or something where we can get some food.
  11. They're always Sundays, but not sure why. Convenient for me though. Anyone else want a day change?
  12. Why is the split type no good with a high flow? I've looked into this a bit, and it seems that its all crap. Some people believe one thing, others believe something else. At the end of the day my dump is a split dump, Andrew from AM says he's done the testing and found his split dump design to be better, and since it makes the numbers to back that up I believe him.
  13. Any aftermarket exhaust? Contact Jesse Streeter for a Jap one, there's a whole thread in the Stagea section on the different exhausts available. AM Performance do a very nice one locally, and will custom tune it to whatever volume you want. You can call Andrew on 0401865373.
  14. I'm out north. I prefer twisties, but don't mind a mix. At this stage any time in December works, but earlier is probably better than later, because the later you leave it the more likely something is going to pop up. If you're going to organise the cruise does that mean you might actually turn up?
  15. Yeah I'm always keen. Was actually wondering how many people work between Christmas and New Years, if we could do a weekday/PH cruise then? Otherwise I'm keen to organise something for January.
  16. Just ring GSL Rallysport - I think I had to wait a WHOLE DAY and Greg knows what fits anyway, you'll pretty much just have to tell him you want pads for a M35 Stagea. As Cam says, they're 350Z Touring, and that's all over the site if you have a search Oh and the shocks, BC BRs are not universal. No shocks are. I think the fronts would be fine, rears would be different maybe? If they're your sisters just try fitting them and see!
  17. They can comply NM35s (series 1), but as far as I know North shore are still the only people who can comply PM35s (series 2).
  18. Anyone running the new Innovate MTX-L widebands? http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTXL.php According to Innovate these are a much better device than the LC-1, and everything is built into the gauge. Plus as far as I can tell 2 programmable outputs allows one to be set as narrowband into the stock ECU, and I can use the second as a wideband input to my Fcon (although if I have to calibrate it I might put a bung in somewhere easier to access ). Also looks like you can change the scale, which will be handy because I'm looking at mapping for 98 and E85. Cheap too, under $200 delivered on ebay.
  19. Red C34 - think S1? Driving down Heaslip Road.
  20. Keyed? Bastards... I don't understand why you'd do that to a complete stranger... If it's down to the undercoat do you have to get the whole side resprayed? Looks good, now get rid of the Infiniti badges!
  21. Lol was there today. That's usually where I park if I drive in, but I only drive in once every 2-3 months, when I have heaps of stuff to carry in. Too expensive to drive in and park every day.
  22. Depends on the alarm. If it flashes for ages it could be a fault code? Thats what mine is supposed to do if theres a problem.
  23. I have one, but I have no idea. I contacted Greddy USA direct, and they just told me the part numbers of the sensors I need. I'd contact them, and ask them the first question. As for the second question, I'm not sure. I don't think it's that simple, but you could try?
  24. Spotted DOHMAR through North Adelaide this morning. Looked good!
  25. I can vouch for Andrew's work, top notch stuff. He mainly does performance mods and fabrication, primarily exhausts and dump pipes, so I'm sure the fixtures are fine. Not sure about the silicone hosing but won't hurt to ask! Tell him Ryan with the M35 sent you.
