  1. QFM pads are pretty popular around here. I've got HPX pads and no complaints. They're cheap, you can get them through GSL Rallysport, who are a forum sponsor. AFAIK V35 coilovers will not fit an ARX. I think the rears are different? Plus you'd dump it. What's wrong with BCs?
  2. I didn't make it out, I had to work. Not sure if Dunc has a time you can aim for? Good luck! Let us know how you go and make sure you have lots of pics!
  3. Also, AM Performance were going to do one for me. Give Andrew a call, 0401865373. His workshop is at Greenwith, so not South, but worth travelling for.
  4. It's all down to what you ask for and where you take it. I have a custom AM Performance exhaust. It was a development version, so it was too loud to start with, but it has now been fixed up and is pretty much to my liking. Andrew at AM will sell you an exhaust to whatever volume you'd like. You want a crazy loud one, he will oblige. Quiet? He will oblige. Mine is reasonably loud when you put the boot in, but doesn't drone on long trips. It also looks sex with twin 3" titanium tiips. Everyone who sees them, loves them. Mmm... titanium...
  5. Can someone pm me the details please?
  6. BRs have a bigger shock, which holds more oil, and is apparently better quality oil too. I have BRs with the standard spring rate, and I think they're pretty good. Set to full soft, they're way too soft. I run mine about 5-10 clicks from hard. BRs are supposed to 'be for track' because the larger oil volume means the oil doesn't heat up as quick (apparently), and they can take more of a beating. I know Leon ordered his with a softer spring rate, about 1-2kg softer front and rear, and he's really happy with them.
  7. Weird... looked fine to me, but I didn't go over it with a fine tooth comb. Rust seems to be fairly common on C34s. Good luck with it, hope to see it around!
  8. 1150 where? I paid 1200 for mine and would recommend you go to just jap and pay the 1299. They were BRs though.
  9. Hi Michael, welcome! Check the Stagea section for info on this Sunday's cruise. Hope to see you there!
  10. Your car needs MOAR LOW that's for sure!
  11. Advertise them, someone will buy them! I can vouch for how awesome they are.
  12. Luke, you should check out the cruise thread - cruise this Sunday morning! Get on it like a fat kid (or Billy and I) on cake!
  13. Whats wrong with the silkroads? They were awesome when I was in it!
  14. Brad, always have room for you! Just let me know!
  15. Mate of mine just went with the G.Skill Ripjaw kits, and I'm looking at going the G.Skill Ripjaw 1833MHz kit. For the price you've quoted you could get 16GB RAM.
  16. I ordered a Deatschwerks fuel pump. Sounds good, looks like it's the same fit as a Wahlbro, so I'll check it out when it arrives.
  17. Yeah I was going to go that way, but knowing that the B & M would fit with the HDI intercooler was a bit of a comfort. Worked out the same price, and has a thermostat built in, so all good!
  18. Finally ordered a trans cooler, the same B & M with thermostat that jasevr4 is running. Will get it in with the shift kit, hopefully before the end of the year
  19. Sell NM35. Buy PNM35. Done.
  20. Here's a pic of the camber arm I'm talking about, on M35 suspension: They're coming from the guy who sold me the toe arms. I've had to return them as they don't fit M35s, even after being told they did. Apparently the guy has an M35 and has these camber arms fitted. I can't see any reason why the rear suspension would differ between M35 and NM35, if he does have a 2WD. I'm not convinced, but rather than get a refund I figured I'd give these a crack and see how I go. If they're no good, I'll get these bolts later.
  21. Cool. Worth replacing then?
  22. Yeah I was looking at doing the Deatschworks pump. Is that what you're running Tom? Looks like they're the same size as a Walbro, so the fitting etc should be the same. Is there a filter worth replacing at the same time? I thought there was a screen or something?
  23. So have we got a meet point yet? I'm guessing us Northern cool kids will hang out in the normal spot. Is the route all set?
  24. Apparently the mount just needs to be altered. You have to either compress the U shaped mount to shrink it, or put washers in like the shocks. They better fit, second time lucky from this guy! He has them fitted to his M35 though, so should be fine.
