  1. I've got an Informeter, and while its pretty good at what it does, it becomes expensive when you want to add on sensors. You have to buy a harness to connect additional sensors, then the sensors themselves. For some you have to buy the cabling too. I have a list Greddy support gave me if you want, and prices from Streeter. Not sure if you can use the sensors wired to an Emanage through the optional serial connection? I know you can connect the Informeter to the Emanage. I'm actually thinking of selling it now, as I'd like the additional sensors but I don't want to pay those prices just for the Informeter, then in some cases buy additional ones for the engine management. I was looking at getting HKS CAMP2 (although its discontinued now, not sure if theres an update coming), and connecting it to the Fcon to use the additional Fcon sensors I've ordered. That way any extra sensors I buy, whether its for Fcon or just for information, can in theory be used for multiple purposes. Might also look at replacing the deck already, so I can run multiple video sources into the back, and use the deck for CAMP2 and the stock screen for stereo/TV, or vice versa. Brad and I might have to have a little discussion about that... Its in the car and ready to go, so if you want to see it in action, let me know. Sure Dunc can show you too.
  2. Hey Andy. Think its for a 350Z. Looks the same as mine. How did you mount it up in there Paul? I figured youd have to make up an adaptor.
  3. Read into it what you will... Good day for Stag spotting today! Parked next to a white C34 with a full on front bumper in Topham Mall. Silver M35 with Vic plates at the corner of Greenhill Road and King William Road/Peacock Road. Looked like 370Z wheels? White C34 on Fitzroy Tce crossing Prospect Road.
  4. If you blokes are desperate I guess you could steal mine...
  5. The scales say I'm the bigger man mate!
  6. Go see Brad (ducati02) and get the screen translated! That'll help!
  7. Why do there seem to be heaps of people who like the Blitz dual solenoid units? I don't really understand why you'd need two solenoids, and why Blitz seem to be the only people peddling a dual solenoid EBC.
  8. Theres a similar one for sale in the Stagea Classifieds section.
  9. Off to burn some c*nts houses down?
  10. What parts? Most basic consumables are easy, shares a lot in common with 350Z, V35, etc. Big stuff like panels you can get from Japan. Most stuff I get from overseas is just because its so much cheaper and I dont mind waiting. Locally you can source filters, brakes, etc easy. Others might have had different experiences. If you search for parts availability you might find old threads. Buy the car. She'll love it!
  11. You want to upgrade to an M35?
  12. I wasn't being subtle... If you were quicker you should have come back with "Maybe we could have some M35s turn up for a change!"
  13. The recommendation around here is Australian Standards approved. Mongoose, Cyclops, AutoWatch, etc. As long as it's AS Approved and installed properly, as Chris said above. Viper 5701 isn't AS approved. And I don't think any alarm with a turbo timer or remote start would be AS Approved, since both are defectable in Aus. Insurance companies don't count non AS approved alarms. Viper aren't "No. 1" in anything other than marketing. They're pretty good at that When I went looking, most of the AS Standard ones don't have any bells or whistles. They have two point immobilisation, black wire, and just do the one thing you REALLY want them to do. Would you rather have remote start, or have the car still parked there so you can put the key in it and drive off? Do you really need a turbo timer though? Is it that hard to let the car warm down or drive off boost for 30 seconds before you turn it off?
  14. Cheers. Was that you in Anguin Avenue Friday night? You should head to the next SA cruise! We need more NICE C34s!
  15. No idea. Ask Craig or Cam. Craig loves the Platinum and Cam is an oil geek. I can't find enough concrete information on the NEO oils, except for the info on the can, which I find weird...
  16. So what you're trying to say here... is you need Whiteline sway bars from Dale? No issues with mine and I have the Whiteline front and rear sway bars, Whiteline rear links, and Dale's rear mounts. Works bloody awesome!
  17. Black C34 with an RS260 front in Kilburn SA tonight, near the Empire Hotel.
  18. Dammit! Paul showed me A and D when I bought it, it won't fit in C, but B is perfect! Now I'm keeping it
  19. Here goes the oil war... It isn't more expensive than a 100% synthetic. But it is more expensive than a 'full' synthetic (which I think only has to be 70% synthetic).
  20. I could be tempted to part with mine if you need it. I only bought it a couple of weeks ago, but Northshore put the child restraint mounts in line with where the second rod goes, and apparently can't do anything about it. Otherwise I'll just store it under the floor till I need it.
  21. More expensive than what? $65 is about half what I paid for Motul... Platinum seems to be around the same price, maybe slightly cheaper.
  22. Probably, but I'm paranoid. I'll only run the first tank 5000 just to see how it goes. Then if it's all good I'll run the second to 10k. OIL FIGHT!
