I think the main thing is no speed cut and no throttle restriction isn't it? Has anyone with the Nismo snipped the brake wire? Don't need to worry about that now though...

PM Jetwreck and see if his is still for sale. Worth a look. When I was talking to Northshore about mine, Ben told me the cam angle sensor was faulty but he had already ordered a replacement. Was fitted before inspection, passed fine, I flew over, picked it up, and drove it back to Adelaide. Only issue was a typo on the rego papers which Ben had fixed for me while I waited. If he says its the belt, ask him to tighten it, then try it again. Should be happy to accomodate.

Greddy Emanage Ultimate with universal harness. Bought second hand, never fitted, now plans have changed and I'll be running something different. I believe it's off an R33 with an RB25DET map on it, but I'm not sure. Harness looks unused. $400, might even drop it off if you supply the beer!

Only difference is Robbie's is auto, but it is tiptronic. Really, Robbie wants $15500 for his, and it's a great car, great colour. Surely for the $1500 difference you could do a manual conversion if you needed a manual? For $17k you are starting to look at clean, standard M35s, or maybe even a 260?

It looks like Dale has recessed it a bit, so there wouldn't be anything exposed I wouldn't think. Might have to do this myself, good work Dale! What have I done to my Stagea? Pulled out of the SAUSA track day because I have to go to Sydney for work But I did order my F con V Pro setup... so all is not lost! So while I pulled out of the track day, next time I go I'll have the shift kit, trans cooler, fuel system and computer in, and will be running E85 Really can't be bothered fitting the rear shocks and brakes today though. Two weeks of cold and flu backed up by a sinus infection will do that...

I bought mine from Northshore, after getting an inspection by Envy Imports. Would use Northshore again, wouldn't use Envy. I also havent heard any issues about mirror rust, but if the car has a snow pack check for underbody rust. I notice Northshore always put pics up on their web site of the underside, which is great. Grey import causes no issues with rego, but insurance depends. There are plenty of companies who will insure you (shannons, just cars, etc), but plenty who just dont do private imports. Servicing is stupidly easy. Very, very simple to access the oil filter, drain plug, etc. i would do that myself if I was you. Cost you $20-$40 for a filter, depending on what you buy (Nissan, Nismo, Blitz or HKS), and then cost of oil, whatever your preference might be. Shares a few parts with 350z or Xtrail, as well as the US Infiniti G35. You can get a lot cheap from Japan or from the US. Great car, buy buy buy!

I have one of those, so I can help you. What did you want to do with it? I have two issues with mine... When the iPod is connected via USB I can't use AV-IN After having issues, I've now found out you need a special video cord to watch video on the iPod That's pretty much it. Other than that its pretty good and integrates everything pretty well. I'm fairly happy with it, but those two issues give me the shits.

Funny, I'm not convinced my thermo fan is turning on, but I'm still running about the same water temps as everyone else, ~90deg according to the informeter. That probably doesn't tell you much, but what vacuum are you showing at idle? What gauge do you have?

Just curious. Thanks for the info. Where did you get your injectors from Scotty? Much difficulty making them fit? (I gather the Xspurt's aren't drop in, where as the Deschworks are).

I don't suppose you actually did wind the the lower section down as low as possible? You need to wind it up to make it shorter...

Probably, but my plan is to get the supporting mods in place then do the turbo. But if it can be tuned to stop maxing out the injectors at least i know i dont have to hurry. Is our pump body the same as anything?
