  1. I'm thinking slightly differently and thinking I should do injectors and fuel pump before the tune. Is the pump body in the M35 the same as the V35/G35/350Z?
  2. Series? They only just got the 100 octane E10 back. Now they're getting E85?! YEAH! Dale, no issues running the 100 octane E10. Car seems to run a bit better on it actually!
  3. Only reason why is because they seemed to be better for the money, and I wasn't sure if there was a reason why everyone was using the Walbro over these others. For all I knew the response was going to be "Tried it, they're rubbish", but you have to admit if you are offered a pump for $130 that flows 255lph, or one that is $160 and flows 340lph, you're going to think about it. I don't even know if I need 340lph, doesn't hurt to ask the question and see if people have looked at it.
  4. It has Tein shocks too, right? You forgot to mention
  5. Still available. I think it came out of an R33 RB25DET, but I'm not sure.
  6. Cool, that was my question. They physically look the same in the pics, but that doesn't mean they are. What about a Bosch 040? That's supposed to be 300lph too.
  7. Lol nice. I guess I'm looking at doing an upgrade for the long term, so I'll have a setup capable of running 98 and e85. My plan was to just get the highest flow in tank pump I could get, so one of these 300-340lph pumps, and 1000cc injectors, and I figured that should be fine for me. Am I on the right track? I'm not planning on running a twin GTX 3.7L FrankenVQ, I'll leave that up to you
  8. They're only about ~25% more expensive than I've seen Walbros for? Twin Walbros sounds good, but did you have to replace the fuel lines? I know you did, but didn't know if you had to replace lines and rails. Twin Walbros sounds ridiculously over the top
  9. As far as I can tell, most people have fit Walbro 255lph in tank pumps to their M35s. Except Scotty who has his own custom nuclear missile silo in his fuel tank. Anyone tried either of these: Aeromotive 340lph: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=4775&Car_Type=350Z&UID=20111011051919118.210.70.174 Deatschwerks 300lph: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=6908&Car_Type=350Z&UID=20111011051919118.210.70.174 Both seem to flow more and still be in tank, easy to fit solutions?
  10. You asked the same thing a couple of months back and people answered?! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/325765-c34-windscreen/page__pid__5886939#entry5886939
  11. Which is why we talk to a lot of series about webcasting. It's cheaper and can provide more of a connection to the fans. But you don't get the casual viewers so much, concentrates on the hardcore.
  12. No, closest to Brisbane is Brisbane, those guys that built the HKS GTR for world time attack. So who wants Emanage + harmess. Ready to go!
  13. Yeah HKS F-con. Love a Nismo, won't need it with an F-con. Don't need a Nismo with the brake wire cut either Costs heaps more, but I'm slowly accumulating parts. Shouldn't take too long. Emanage is the easier solution, as its proven and cheaper. Easier to find a tuner too.
  14. One of those, cbf searching! If Josh is keen he'll search or PM Craig. Think it was the M35 Suspension Thread? Mine looked ok to me yesterday, so no hurry.
  15. Sure Steve, do I get a free CAMS day licence when I pay the withdrawal fee? Front shocks, pads and rotors in yesterday, rears go in next week. I may get everything fitted in time at this rate!
  16. Did you look at the Super Pro web site that's been linked a few times? Craig is going change overs on Camber Arms (think it was camber arms anyway), and the Super Pro catalogue has a fair bit that works for our cars.
  17. My plans have changed, so I have for sale my eManage Ultimate and universal harness. I bought it second hand and never fitted it. Im told it has a RB25 map on it at the moment, and the universal harness looks new. Looking for $400, happy to post.
  18. Any plans to open the motor? Reading the classified ad I see HKS say the internals wont cope with too much boost, but they have a kit available... Project looks good. Look forward to updates!
  19. Pretty happy with today. Serviced the Stag, with a new HKS oil filter, Greddy magnetic drain plug and Motul 300v. Have to say the Valvoline came out perfect, as expected. Same gold colour but full of black, if that makes any sense. Got enough Motul for another change now, so I'll see how it goes before I decide if I should change back to the free oil. No difference that I can notice so far. Started with the upgrades too. Just the front axle for now. BCs went in, after some adjustment (5cm too short out of the box? WTF?). Followed Dales measurements, and added a bit to get it a bit higher. Feels very stiff but it is also would out to hard from the factory. DBA 4000 Clubspec rotors and QFM HPX pads went in. So far still bedding in, so dont feel much of a difference yet. Next week rear BCs, toe arms and brakes go in, then I'll change the lines over to the braided Stoptech lines (which look easy to fit) and refill the brakes with the Motul RBF600. I have a feeling this car lead a good life in Japan. It seems to have been well maintained, and pulling the pads out today showed half used Nissan pads. I have a feeling it was serviced and driven normally in Japan, no thrashing, which is good!
  20. Is it high enough that I can remove it without dumping the oil? Didnt get to do it today but I did change the oil.
  21. If I was a marketing boffin for Toyota, thats exactly what I'd be doing. Think about it, if you want to sell a car that competes head to head with Commonwhore and Falcon, compete with them on track in Australias most popular motor racing series. People like Toyota (Aurion), Hyundai (Grandeur? That new 5L V8 RWD thing) could benefit from some brand credibility and some bogan popularity. And its not like it would be expensive. A deal with an existing team could be struck, the cars will be mostly control anyway so changeover cost is negligible, and itd end up costing someone like Toyota or Hyundai a fraction of their yearly marketing budget.
  22. Same. Ring Nisswreck if you want a laugh. They have one but want about $300 for it.
