  1. Made plans to start a big couple of weekends this weekend... Plan is to fit coilovers and possibly brakes before heading to the local brewery for the AFL Grand Final. Then Sunday/Monday fit brakes if necessary and the HDi Intercooler (assuming it arrives in time). Haven't even fit everything that's sitting in the shed and I'm already planning the next major project: speakers! As of the weekend the speakers on the left hand side seem to be shot, with some kind of weird hissing going on. So I've started searching around for some audio info, and there's a surprising amount on the M35 audio here. Thinking 6.5 splits in the front, 6" 2 ways in the back, 4ch amp and possibly a sub under the rear floor.
  2. I'm using the United Premium 100 fuel, which has become available again at my local servo. 100 octane E10, and my car seems to run better on it. Always had good results when running it in the past.
  3. And they appear to be priced accordingly? What would you recommend then? I've noticed my factory ones seem to have given up the ghost on the weekend, so I'm on the lookout for some.
  4. I've got a Greddy Informeter Touch, got it for around $400 online. Does everything I want, I just need to get the oil pressure and oil temp senders for it. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a multi gauge display, but I have no experience with the others.
  5. There is a couple of apps, very frustrating it isn't standard Interesting project, I'll keep an eye out. I would have loved a blu-ray player in my car, not so much so I can watch HD, but so I can watch all the movies I've got on blu-ray, even if it is downsampled to 720p. This sounds like it has the potential to give me that ability, so keep us posted!
  6. Yep, the North guys heading down to the ghetto for today's stag cruise.
  7. The easiest way is to just email jesse streeter and ask him to find it for you. Great service. pm me if you need his email. Check ebay too, theres been heaps of panels on there lately.
  8. That's the brake wire cut mod... if you search you should find some instructions. Seems like you should put a switch on the wire too, if it doesn't connect occasionally it gives a fault code. Can you post a pic for us? It is possible to replace it with something else, I think that uses a G35 facia you can get off ebay. If you have the factory TV screen, there are a few guys who can do the translation, but you'd have to travel out of Canberra. I had mine done, and its awesome, but unfortunately it doesn't get the sat nav working because there are no Australian maps Hope that points you in the right direction, and as the others said, post some pics!
  9. True, but that isn't going as well as I'd like, so easy solutions are always good. Never mind, I'll be patient!
  10. Lol fair enough. What happened to the rest of the M35s? There were TWO of us... we got outnumbered by Legnums! How embarrassing... Good cruise though, cheers Robbie
  11. If he keeps buying all the 'awesome' before anyone else gets it, then he can be the gatekeeper! Nice one on the trans cooler. Didn't think of that, was going to order B&M online. I'll go see them tomorrow. Does yours have a thermostat?
  12. Which trans cooler did you go for?
  13. Dibs! Send me a pm if/when its for sale!
  14. If he doesnt take i will, just let me know when to come pick it up?
  15. So... Yours would be for sale then?
  16. heh... so much for c34 vs m35, you c34 guys are going to take each other out for me! For this cruise, I don't care, as long as we outnumber the leggys!
  17. RWD car, running, in any condition. Thinking S13, R32, 180, or even VN onwards Commodore. Any condition, as long as it runs (or can easily be made to run). Rego preferred but not essential. To be used for filming hack, part of an upcoming shoot. Personally I'd prefer something Nissan so I can use it for more than just the shoot, but will take anything really cheap and RWD. Cheaper the better, but negotiable. Can pick up with trailer if necessary. If anyone has anything collecting dust in the yard and is willing to donate/discount to a good cause, let me know!
  18. Lol. Well I worked out my two choices, the Stillen and Nismo, would both be about the same, so I went to order the cheaper one (Stillen) only to get reamed on freight. So ordering the Nismo in the morning. Cheers for the advice Craig!
  19. The more stags the merrier! See you at bunnings! Dont be late!
  20. I spoke to Craig last week, he said he'd found a power steering cooler was essential, and a trans cooler was recommended. Looking into it, g35s and z33s seem to all have had stock power steering coolers, with Nismo and Stillen making enlarged aftermarket units. So Im confused why we dont have one, but I will get one soon, just have to finish my research.
  21. Then I have to ask the obvious question... Why are you running one?
  22. Did you try replacing the sensor with one of Scotty's spares? Or the thermostat?
  23. Why not run one of those single DIN triple gauge pods instead?
  24. Cheers mate. Is it necessary/worth it? How big did you go? You running a power steering cooler?
  25. Hayden's a champ, and everything I've seen from All Type looks awesome. Today I ordered my HDI intercooler. Just have to decide on a power steering cooler, then I can order the trans cooler too. Anyone running an engine oil cooler?
