  1. Signed up to the SAUSA track day in November, and booked the day off work. Now to fit the shift kit, brakes, shocks, trans cooler, emanage, etc before then...
  2. I'm in. Just booked annual leave. Assuming it's ok can I just confirm about timer closer to the day? Before the day I have a heap of stuff to fit: Shift kit, brakes (rotors, pads, braided lines), coilovers, adjustable toe arms. If I get to it I might also get the eManage fitted and tuned. Also need to fix the undertray at the front
  3. VERY long shot, but Im after a factory aero foglight with a broken lens. I really only need the mounts, to replace my second one with a matching spotlight. Seems like a waste to break a good condition light, so Im prepared to swap someone if they have a broken one? So if you have anything let me know!
  4. Also curious why you did it this way? There was a discussion on this a while back and there were pros and cons either way, the main pro to placing it beforehand was the thermostat in the radiator getting the fluid up to temp if it was too cold... I guess if your trans cooler has a thermostat this isnt a consideration? For my Stagea, I did my tax return today. Looks like Im going shopping! First up is intercooler methinks.
  5. That was weird Dale, but those sway bars were heaps heavier, and a very odd shape. Usually when I post express it's overnight to anywhere in the network. I think Express Post for 4-5kgs would be pretty close to the $20 for TNT.
  6. Express Post should be overnight Sydney to Adelaide normally? That's a pretty good idea Dale, would think it would work out well for most people.
  7. When I took mine back to AM Performance, Andrew said he would build to the noise level you want. Theres also those Jap exhausts which are supposed to be quiet.
  8. Apparently there was some industrial action in the states, and my BCs are still sitting in a container somewhere Now I'm unlikely to get them for another 2 weeks Car is getting a service and wash today though, have to clean the bugs off.
  9. Interesting. 340x32? Could be good, but when the new setup runs out I'll probably go 350Z Brembo or Akebono.
  10. What is the plan now? I've seen you in a few different discussions now and it sounds like it might be a bit unique...
  11. It get's blocked up. I've been lead to believe that if you clean it out, use good oil and service it regularly you should be fine. To be safe, if you're running a standard turbo you can drill it out to 2mm, and if you're running a highflow you drill it to 3mm. Scotty and Aaron are the experts, but that's what I've been lead to believe.
  12. Yeah Achilles sponsor the Monster/Nismo 350Z in Stadium Drift now. A few of the guys I've spoken to prefer the Federals, because they get more grip for the steer tyres and last longer. A lot of those cheap tyres last 1-2 runs
  13. I'd be curious if you notice any difference then. It doesn't look like it'll make bugger all difference to me. Same shape, except metal instead of plastic?!
  14. Dunc should be able to tell us now, but he's probably off driving it to see what it's like! Have you got any photos of it out of the car Dunc?
  15. No worries. I've had to swap mine out and replace them with aftermarket replacements thanks to some bastard with a rock Really easy, but if you have access to a hoist, do it. Pain to do on the ground!
  16. There's two of those crappy little push plugs on the middle side of the surround. Remove those with a flathead screwdriver. Then there are four 10mm bolts around the mounting for the fog light, undo those. Remove fog light carefully, then disconnect the wiring from the back. Done!
  17. Pics! Apparently mine actually might be coming, STT just don't have any updates, and I get the impression he couldn't care less. Since he's now over both deadlines he gave me and hasn't even seen a shipping confirmation I have no idea what is going on. But I won't be doing this again.
  18. Air filter is same as 350Z etc. Get the Blitz one if you want, I may have one for sale shortly that's 6 months old. Cabin air filter is same as X-Trail. I forget what the part number is, depends who you go through. Again, apparently the Blitz is the go but I just picked up a Repco carbon one. NSW M35 english conversion, PM Jetwreck or Andy (I think it's Andyb65?!)
  19. Mine seemed fine on dyno day, and was holding 15PSI? I don't have a boost controller or bleed valve though.
  20. Check out their web site. They can get just about anything, but bread and butter is federal, hankook and silverstones. I dont understand why people buy nice new wheels and put shitty nexen/nankang/generic crap on them. Grip ftw!
  21. Thats why I gave him a go, plenty of positive reports on here. But since I handed over the money his attitude changed and giving me the time of day has been a hassle. I think his number is on the invoice, so I'll give him a call tomorrow.
  22. Thats stupid. If you want ku31s, isn't there a sponsor on here that does them? Otherwise call sa motorsport tyres, www.samotorsporttyres.com.au, and tell mark I sent you.
  23. Ask Brad (ducati02). He will be making mine work, he will be able to sort it for you.
