  1. 9am Monday, 1000 more tickets to Gymkhana World Tour are getting released. Max 2 per person. www.ticketmaster.com. GO GO GO!
  2. Worth it. Do it. I turned up to the last one even though my M35 was still getting the exhaust done... hitched a ride. Good times...
  3. Well Friday is schnitzel and gravy/pepper day. So Sunday parmy is allllllll goooooood...
  4. They're talking this: http://www.haltech.com.au/index.php/product/platinum-sprint-series/platinum-sprint-500 But considering I picked up an Emanage for a third of the price, they haven't given me a good reason to use the Haltech. Sure, if it takes over everything instead of doing the addition/subtraction table, that sounds good. But if you get a tuner who knows what they're doing I can't imagine there'd be a remarkable difference.
  5. Strut brace is a Dolphin one from YAJ through Streeter. You can check it out Sunday if you're coming.
  6. Only reason why Haltech came up is that's what the tuner suggested, and if it's got local support I was willing to look at it. Cihan is sounding like a good option, or I'll see how Dunc goes with Willall. As long as someone local can fix/retune it.
  7. Yeah I'll have to get on that soon I think. I'll PM Scotty when I'm ready. Dunc went straight to 1000cc, he should be experimenting for me. Wahlbro, 1000cc injectors and emanage tuned with Willall.
  8. Funny, he says he can do an Emanage tune, but can't quote accurately, so I take it that means he hasn't. Haltech option is a new unit which works with 350Zs, so they figure it'll work with VQ25s using the same trigger pattern. I have a quote for $500-1000, but no guarantees it'll work. Seriously considering getting Cian to do it when I come over for Gymkhana World Tour...
  9. What's different about the 1000cc injectors that I won't need the spacer if you did?
  10. Definitely. You can really feel the difference, even without doing some serious twisties. I'll get a better idea this weekend on the SA cruise. I like it the way it is, which makes me wonder if I should sacrifice it for the benefit of having the plenum spacer. Not in any hurry.
  11. Yeah I thought so. Kit was $79, but figured I'd connect it to the factory wiring so didn't need the extra stuff. Dad has a trade account so just got him to get them. HID kit is off ebay, hoping it turns up by the weekend.
  12. There will be plenty of Stags, sure you can get a ride if you want!
  13. Let me know how you go. The tuner I was going to use still wants to persue the Haltech option, which admittedly sounds better (in theory), even though I've bought an eManage
  14. Yeah so far it is pretty cheap all together. $70 for the two lights and $70 for the HID kit. Mounting is going to be the tricky bit...
  15. No, engine cover isn't on, and there isn't really enough thread on the struts to space it up adequately. I'll either get the underbody bracing then test without the strut brace, or just test with the spacer anyway. I do like the strut brace though, turn in is definitely improved. Just exposes how much I need a set of new shocks though...
  16. Thanks Iain, I'll keep an eye out. Dolphin rear wings are a little too in your face for my liking. Updated prices I got through Streeter were: Rear wing - 39,630yen + 2,100yen shipping Rear Wing Racing - 53,280yen + 2,100yen shipping
  17. Got my first replacement fog light today, as a test. Gone with Narva Compac 100 spotlights: http://narva.com.au/products/detail/6/noheaders/1/?KeepThis=true&TB_iframe=true&height=500&width=720&modal=true&parent=driving-fog-lamps-popup-layout They have about 5-10mm gap around the entire light, but don't look bad in trial fits. Just have to work out exactly how I'm going to mount them, and how I'm going to fill the gap. Bumper might be a bit wobbly for mounting though... Also ordering a HID conversion kit, should be awesome when I'm done. If I pull my finger out might be done in time for the cruise Sunday, at least the lights will be in even if the HID conversion isn't complete.
  18. Oh yeah, plenty of room to run a spacer... If it's no bigger than about 4mm...
  19. Martin works for/runs Willall Racing in SA. Specialise in R35 GTRs these days I think. Knows his stuff. But I don't know what he said...
  20. Where's the best place to get the bracing from? I've got the strut brace, which I'll get some photos of shortly, but every time I add something, sway bars, strut brace, it gets that much nicer to drive!
  21. I'm willing to bet that you have, or had, the mirror covers with the LED indicators. When I picked mine up from having the alarm replaced, the indicators weren't working on the LHS except the LED ones, which flashed quickly. Found the problem was a wire behind the drivers kick panel had been cut by the scotch lock they used to connect the LEDs in the mirrors to the indicator lines. Soldered up, all good!
  22. I meant the Aero ones, not the Dolphin ones. Think the prices they quoted Streeter were less than that anyway.
  23. Not keen on the grill, but would like the wing. Just haven't got that active on it since I have more important things to get atm... Any idea what they're worth?
  24. Bah! I want one! I hit Dolphin up, around 25000 yen for theirs.
  25. It's got an aftermarket wing too. For some reason I kind of like my standard grill, not really in a hurry to change.
